Antep Foods is run by Mehmet Özbakır in Gaziantep, with a strong, experienced team. Purchasing, logistics and export documents sit with different people, so a question about a certificate or a loading date is answered by whoever actually handles it. You still deal with one contact from your first list to the loading photographs.

We make chocolate, dragées, pistachio and hazelnut creams, popping candy and Turkish delight in our factory at Başpınar OSB, Gaziantep — a 10,000 m² site, 7,500 m² of it enclosed, with a capacity of over 6,000 tonnes a year. Lines we do not make ourselves, we source from Gaziantep producers and load in the same container. We ship on our own account and prepare the export documents — commercial invoice, packing list per pallet, certificate of origin or A.TR movement certificate by destination, analysis report, and an aflatoxin certificate where required. Our own lines run in our own factory, so a question about a lot is answered by the people who ran it. For everything else, the producers next door are people we have worked with for years, and in many cases friends.
A question about a lot is answered the same day, by the person who ran it. A line that is “not available” to a stranger gets made. And when your list needs items from three plants, we know all three — and which one is best at what.

Gaziantep is a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy and the centre of Turkish pistachio. We are from here and our factory is here, at Başpınar OSB. Chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, special lokum, confectionery, pistachio spreads and fruit leather are all made in Gaziantep — in our own factory, or by producers next door.
That is what lets us check a lot before it is packed, and photograph the pallets before the doors close.
