Cases of chocolate, dragées and Turkish delight consolidated for one container in Gaziantep
Who we quote for

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.

We quote for Algerian food importers and distributors, for the wholesalers that supply supermarkets, groceries and the sweets trade by the carton, for pastry houses and traders buying sugared almonds and chocolate dragées for trays and favours, and for brands that want chocolate, dragées or Turkish delight made under their own name. If you are looking for chocolate wholesale Algeria can price by the carton, chocolate importers in Algeria, food importers in Algeria that carry Turkish lines, Turkish delight, or dragées by the colour, this is what we quote for. The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across as many lines as you like. The enquiry itself usually arrives in French even when the shelf speaks Arabic, so this page has an Arabic and a French version and we answer in the language you write in.

Two import tables tell the story of this market, and they point in opposite directions. In 2024 Algeria imported $3,651,930 of chocolate, and 74.9% of it came from Belgium alone, with Italy at 9.3% and Türkiye sixth at 1.3%. In the same year Algeria imported $988,209 of sugar confectionery, and Türkiye was the first source at 74.3%. So in one country Turkish product already holds the confectionery shelf and is almost absent from the chocolate shelf — and both shelves hang on a single origin. That is the reason to talk. A buyer who already clears Turkish confectionery knows the paperwork, the route and the lead times; adding chocolate to the same file is a short step. And a shelf supplied at three quarters by one origin does not take a second source to shave a price. It takes one so that a strike, a season or a freight window somewhere else does not empty the shelf.

Search the way a buyer here searches and the reason a direct container matters becomes visible. Arabic queries fill the screen with Gulf online retail and recipe pages; French queries return wholesalers in France and Spain and a French B2B marketplace; English queries return trade-statistics sites rather than suppliers. In other words, today the shelf is looked at through the Gulf's retail window or Europe's wholesale counter. Everything on this site is made in Gaziantep, in our own factory, which is what lets one container carry five product groups, lets us check a lot before it is packed and photograph the pallets before the doors close. Every line is specified in the offer.

We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.

Algeria notes

What stays the same on every offer.

Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.

The two tables
Algeria's 2024 chocolate imports were $3,651,930, with Belgium at 74.9%, Italy at 9.3% and Türkiye sixth at 1.3%. Sugar confectionery was $988,209, with Türkiye first at 74.3%. We put both figures on the page because they frame the conversation honestly: on one shelf Turkish origin is already the reference, on the other it is a newcomer. We are open to both, and the offer is written for the shelf you are filling, not for an average.
Why a second source
A shelf that draws roughly three quarters of its chocolate from one origin is efficient until the day it is not. A second source is taken on for continuity: a known producer, a known route, a document set already tested by your confectionery consignments, and a smaller volume kept alive so it can be scaled when you need it. We do not make a price claim on this page. We quote your list in writing and you compare it against what you pay today.
Label
The mandatory information in Arabic, with French alongside where the trade asks for it and as the importer's file requires: the name of the food, the ingredient list with allergens, metric net weight, storage, the importer's name and address, and the date marking. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack carries; for private label we prepare the label content in both languages from our technical data sheet and check your artwork before anything is printed.
Origin document and duty
Nothing about duty or tariff rates is printed on this site, because what applies changes. The origin document and the rules that apply are named in the offer, along with the tariff line, so the landed cost is known before you order. The document set travels with the shipment and the offer says what is in it.
Importer requirements
The importer holds the registration with the authorities and files the consignment before it lands; what the file needs is stated by the importer, not by us. From our side you receive the technical data sheet per product, our certificates and the analysis report per line.
Chocolate and compound are not one word
Some lines are chocolate and some carry a vegetable-fat coating, which is a different product with a different name, a different price and a different behaviour in heat. We never use one word for both. Each line in the offer is marked as chocolate or as a compound coating, the technical data sheet says which, and the label content follows the data sheet.
Halal
Lines with ingredients of animal origin, gelatine in jellies above all, travel with our halal certificate, and the offer names the certifying body per line so the importer can check that it is recognised before ordering. Lines without such ingredients are stated as such on the data sheet.
Route
The goods leave Gaziantep and reach the port of Mersin in about three hours by road, then go by sea to Algiers, Oran, Annaba or the port your file uses. The delivery term — FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP — the transshipment port and the transit are stated in the offer. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer for the warm months; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry, and both can travel in one container.
Currency and payment
Offers in US dollars. Bank transfer only: 50% with the order, 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs. The offer states the banking route that applies on the day.
Sourced on request
Items outside the core range — couverture, bulk chocolate by the kilo, raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa, empty packaging, baklava, halva and tahini — are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, and they can load in the same container.

Private label chocolate and confectionery for Algerian brands

Looking for a private label chocolate manufacturer for an Algerian brand, a pastry house's own bar or an own-brand dragée line? We put our own lines under your name: tablets, bars, dragées in doypacks, gift boxes, Turkish delight boxes and pistachio spread jars, with the label content prepared in Arabic and French and nothing printed before you approve it.

Questions

Asked before the first list.

Do you work with importers in Algeria?

We quote for food importers, distributors, wholesalers, pastry houses and private-label brands in Algeria, and we are open to a first consignment with a buyer we have not worked with before. Send the product references, the quantities you have in mind and the port; the written offer follows within two working days. Write in Arabic, French or English.

Türkiye is already the first source of confectionery here. Why talk about chocolate?

Because the two tables are not alike. In 2024 Türkiye held 74.3% of Algeria's sugar confectionery imports and 1.3% of its chocolate imports, where 74.9% came from Belgium. If your confectionery already clears from Türkiye, the route, the document set and the contact are in place; the chocolate lines join the same container and the same file.

What about customs duty?

We do not print duty or tariff rates on this site, because what applies changes. The offer names the tariff line, the origin document and the rules that apply, so you can price the landed cost before you order.

Which language does the label need?

Arabic, with French alongside where the trade asks for it and as the importer's file requires. For private label we prepare the content in both from our technical data sheet, and nothing is printed before you approve the artwork in writing.

Is the container a reefer?

Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer for the warm months; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry. Both can travel in one container, and the offer states which lines are quoted how.

Can you make our own brand for the Algerian market?

Yes — private label is one of our core services. We prepare the label content in Arabic and French, you approve the artwork in writing, and the minimum per line is stated in the offer.

Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?

Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
