Turkish chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight and confectionery for importers in Costa Rica
One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, to Moín, with Caldera on request: chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and pistachio products, each line on its own pallet. The Spanish label content is prepared before anything is printed, and the written offer follows in US dollars within two working days of your list.

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.
We quote for Costa Rican food importers and distributors, for the wholesalers that supply the supermarket chains, the pulperías and the regional trade from San José and the Central Valley out to Guanacaste and Limón, for the suppliers of bakeries, pastry counters, hotels and the tourist gift shelf, and for brands that want chocolate, dragées or Turkish delight made under their own name. If you are looking for chocolate importers in Costa Rica that carry Turkish lines, chocolate al por mayor by the carton, the chocolate de Dubai the shelf here asks for by name, crema de pistacho in jars, cobertura de chocolate for the pastry counter, or delicias turcas and postres turcos for the gift shelf, this is what we quote for. The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across as many lines as you like.
The confectionery shelf in Costa Rica is import-fed: the chocolate, the dragées and the seasonal sweets on it arrive in a container, and the buyer is comparing landed cost line by line before the box is booked. That is the offer we write — price per case, case weight, the pallet plan and what applies at the border for each of them, so you can put our number next to the one you already have. Everything on this site is made in Gaziantep, in our own factory. That is what lets one container carry five product groups, and lets us check a lot before it is packed and photograph the pallets before the doors close.
We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.
- Food importers and distributors that supply the supermarket chains, the pulperías and the regional wholesalers of the Central Valley, Guanacaste and the Caribbean coast
- Confectionery and gift wholesalers that sell chocolate, dragées and wrapped sweets by the carton to shops, to the December shelf and to the wedding table
- Bakery, pastry and hotel suppliers buying chocolate and pistachio lines for pastry counters, hotels and the tourist gift shop, and asking about coatings by the kilo
- Brands and own-label buyers that want a line made under their own name, with the Spanish label content prepared before printing
Six lines, mixed to your list.
Each line travels on its own pallet; the container is mixed. Outside the core range we source on request and load it in the same shipment.

What stays the same on every offer.
Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.
- Label
- A Spanish label to the Central American technical regulation Costa Rica applies to prepackaged food: the name of the food, the ingredient list with the allergen declaration, the nutrition information, metric net content, storage, the lot and the expiry date, and the name and address of the importer. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries and what the importer adds; for private label we prepare the label content from our technical data sheet and check your artwork against it before anything is printed.
- Sanitary registration and entry
- Imported food is registered with the health authority on the importer’s side, in the importer’s name, before it goes on sale, and the consignment is cleared and inspected on arrival. From our side we supply what the registration needs: the technical data sheet per product, our certificates and the analysis report per line. Registration runs before the deposit and is not counted in the lead time, and the offer states what applies to each line on the day.
- Customs
- Costa Rica applies the Central American common external tariff, and there is no free trade agreement in force between Costa Rica and Türkiye. The offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order. No duty or tax figure is printed on this site, because it changes.
- Certificates and documents
- Per line you receive the technical data sheet, the ingredient and allergen declaration, the shelf life as stated on our data sheet, the analysis report and our certificates. The certificate of origin, the health certificate and the rest of the export set travel with the shipment as the offer lists them so the importer can put a name on the registration file.
- What goes in the container
- One container, mixed across as many lines as you like, each line on its own pallet: chocolate tablets, bars and pralines; sugared almonds and chocolate dragées; Turkish delight in boxes and trays; wrapped confectionery and jellies; pistachio spread in jars and the pistachio lines around it. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer, while Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry, and both sit in the same box. The offer states per line whether the coating is chocolate or a compound coating, because the two go to different shelves and different price points. Items outside the core range — couverture and chocolate by the kilo, bulk pistachio paste, raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa, empty packaging — are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, and they load in the same container.
- Route, terms and payment
- Sea freight from Mersin to Moín, with Caldera on request when the buyer sits on the Pacific side; the transshipment port, the delivery term — FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP — and the transit are stated in the offer. The box is opened in the heat of the coast even when the shelf is up in the cooler Central Valley, so chocolate lines are quoted in a reefer year round. Offers are in US dollars. Bank transfer only: 50% with the order, 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.
- Dubai chocolate, and the pistachio jar
- The pistachio and kadayif bar Costa Rica searches for as chocolate de Dubai — usually next to the name of a supermarket, which says where the question is really being asked — is made in Gaziantep too, where the pistachio grows and the kadayif is made. Retail bars, filled tablets and gift formats in our standard packs or under your brand, for the supermarket chiller, the gift shelf and the hotel shop. Pistachio spread in jars, what a shopper here looks for as crema de pistacho and a pastry chef as pasta de pistacho, travels with it, and the offer states per line whether a coating is chocolate or compound.
- The pastry counter and the December shelf
- Two of the searches here come from the trade rather than the shopper: cobertura de chocolate, the coating a bakery buys for donas and cakes, and turrón, the nut-and-sugar bar the shelf fills with in December. Couverture and chocolate by the kilo are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, and the line is named as chocolate or compound in writing. For the December and wedding tables we quote what we carry every day: sugared almonds by colour, chocolate dragées in milk, dark and white, coated nuts, boxed assortments and Turkish delight for the gift shelf, with case weight per line in the offer and each group on its own pallet.
Private label chocolate and confectionery for Costa Rican brands
Looking for a private label chocolate manufacturer for a Costa Rican brand, a pistachio bar under your own name, or an own-brand dragée line for the December and wedding tables? We put our own lines under your name: tablets, bars, dragées in doypacks, gift boxes, Turkish delight boxes and jars of pistachio spread, with the Spanish label content prepared for what Costa Rica applies to prepackaged food, and nothing printed before you approve it in writing.

Do you work with importers in Costa Rica?
We quote for food importers, distributors, wholesalers, bakery and hotel suppliers and private-label brands in Costa Rica. Send the product references, the quantities you have in mind and the port, and the written offer follows within two working days, in US dollars.
Which port do you ship to?
Moín, with Caldera on request if your distribution sits on the Pacific side. The offer names the port, the transshipment, the delivery term — FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP — and the transit.
Who registers the products?
The importer registers imported food with the health authority in its own name before the goods go on sale. From our side we supply the technical data sheet, our certificates and the analysis report per line, named in the offer and sent before the deposit.
Which language does the label need?
Spanish, with the information Costa Rica requires on prepackaged food. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries and what the importer adds; for private label we prepare the content from our data sheet and check your artwork before anything is printed.
Can you supply couverture or chocolate by the kilo for a bakery?
Couverture and chocolate by the kilo sit outside our core range. They are sourced on request, and we confirm composition and format before quoting, including whether the line is chocolate or a compound coating. The unit of sale is still one full container, so this works best when the coating loads alongside the lines you are already buying.
Is the container a reefer, and how do I know chocolate from compound?
Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer year round on this route; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry in the same container. Both kinds of coating exist for different shelves and price points, and the offer states per line which one it is, so a vegetable-fat coated line is never sold to you as chocolate.
What is the minimum order?
One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, mixed across the lines you choose, each line on its own pallet. The minimum per line is written into the offer.
Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?
Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
