Turkish chocolate, pistachio and confectionery for importers and wholesalers in France

One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, into France: pistachio and kadayıf bars, pistachio paste and spread, lokum, chocolate dragées and wrapped confectionery. France and Türkiye trade inside the EU–Türkiye customs union, so processed confectionery moves on an A.TR movement certificate and the label content is prepared to Regulation (EU) 1169/2011 in French. Written offer in US dollars or euros within two working days of your list.

Cases of chocolate, dragées and Turkish delight consolidated for one container in Gaziantep
Who we quote for

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.

France has its own confectionery industry and its own dragée tradition, and neither is something to argue with. The candy wholesalers of the trade — the maisons that supply market stalls, kiosks and the pick-and-mix shelf — are established and buy domestically. The dragée houses sell on «qualité française» and are right to. What comes out of Gaziantep is the end those lines do not cover: the pistachio. The bar France searched for as chocolat de Dubaï is made where the pistachio grows and the kadayıf is made, pistachio paste travels with it, and so do lokum and coated nuts.

The channel that matters here is not the generic candy wholesaler. It is the oriental and halal grocery trade — the wholesalers of Aubervilliers, Marseille and the other hubs that supply Maghrebi, Turkish and Middle Eastern shops across France. That trade already imports; the searches that reach it are grossiste oriental, grossiste alimentaire halal and grossiste pâtisserie orientale, and the products behind them are ours. Alongside it sits the professional pastry channel, which buys pistachio paste by the kilo and compares on percentage.

We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.

  • Oriental, Maghrebi and halal grocery wholesalers supplying the shops of Aubervilliers, Marseille, Lyon and the other hubs by the pallet
  • Food importers and distributors that clear their own entries and supply retail, ho.re.ca. and specialist shops
  • Pastry and ice-cream suppliers buying pistachio paste, kadayıf and coated nuts by the kilo alongside their existing range
  • French brands and retail chains wanting chocolate, dragées or lokum made under their own name for the French shelf

France notes

What stays the same on every offer.

Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.

Entry and the trade agreement
France is in the EU and Türkiye is in the EU–Türkiye customs union, so processed confectionery under chapters 17 and 18 moves on an A.TR movement certificate rather than a free-trade origin proof. The offer states the tariff line and what applies on the day; rates are not published on this site because they change.
Label
A French label to Regulation (EU) 1169/2011: the ingredient list with allergens indicated, the nutrition declaration per 100 g, metric net quantity, the best-before date, and the name and address of the business placing the product on the market in the EU. Where a line is a compound coating rather than chocolate, EU rules do not allow it to be called chocolate; the offer says so per line and the name on the pack is checked before anything is printed.
Naming
On the French shelf the pistachio jar is asked for as crème de pistache and the professional paste as pâte de pistache, and the offer distinguishes the two. Dubai-style bars are asked for as chocolat de Dubaï. Lokum is asked for as loukoum, but the search volume behind that word is largely recipe and consumer traffic rather than trade.
Halal
Lines with ingredients of animal origin, gelatine in jellies above all, travel with our halal certificate, and the offer names the certifying body per line. The halal grocery channel asks for this first, and a line without a certificate is stated as such rather than covered by a general claim.
Route
Sea freight from Mersin to Marseille-Fos, Le Havre or Sète, or a road trailer from Gaziantep across Europe. The port of arrival and the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, are stated in the offer together with the transit.
Heat
Chocolate and chocolate-coated products travel at +18/+20 °C. For a mixed container in the warm months we quote a reefer; if you prefer a dry container, the temperature risk goes to you in writing before loading. Lokum, sugared almonds, jellies and spread jars travel dry all year.
Certificates
Held for our factory in Gaziantep: food-safety (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP), Halal and Kosher certificates. The holder is named per line and copies are available on request.
On request
Couverture, bulk chocolate by the kilo, bulk pistachio filling, raw pistachios, baklava, halva and tahini are outside the core range. They are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, and load them in the same container.

Private label chocolate and confectionery for French brands

Looking for a fabricant à façon for a bar your own brand can sell, or an own-brand range for the French shelf? French co-packers come first for a classic French tablet, and for that they are the right answer. We are the other route: the pistachio and kadayıf end, made in Gaziantep under your name, with the label content prepared to EU rules in French.

Questions

Asked before the first list.

Do you work with importers and wholesalers in France?

We quote for food importers and distributors, oriental and halal grocery wholesalers, pastry and ice-cream suppliers, and French brands that want their own label. Send the product references, the quantities you have in mind and the port of arrival; the written offer follows within two working days.

Does the A.TR certificate cover a shipment to France?

Yes. France is in the EU and processed confectionery under chapters 17 and 18 moves inside the EU–Türkiye customs union on an A.TR movement certificate. The offer states which document travels with your container, together with the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day.

Who prepares the French label?

We prepare the content from our technical data sheet to Regulation (EU) 1169/2011: ingredients with allergens indicated, the nutrition declaration per 100 g, metric net quantity, the best-before date, and the name and address of the business placing the product on the market. You place it in your artwork and approve the final version in writing.

Can you supply dragées for the wedding and baptism trade?

We make sugared almonds and chocolate dragées in bulk cartons and in doypacks, single colour or mixed, with the minimum counted per colour. France has its own dragée houses with a long tradition and they sell on French origin; we do not present ourselves as a replacement for them. What we quote is the bulk and repacking end, and coloured chocolate dragées for the candy-bar table.

What percentage is your pistachio paste?

The jar is a pistachio spread, not a confectioner's paste — the two are different products and the offer distinguishes them. The running jar lines are at 15% and 30%, and there is a 30% version with kadayıf. The percentage is stated per line in the offer and on the technical data sheet; we confirm the figure before quoting rather than giving a general description.

Do you supply couverture or bulk chocolate by the kilo?

They are outside the core range. We buy them in on request and load them in the same container; we confirm composition and format before quoting.

What is the minimum order?

One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, or one full trailer, mixed across as many lines as you like. We do not ship part loads. The minimum per line is stated in the offer.

Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?

Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
