Turkish chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight and confectionery for importers, distributors and mayoreo wholesalers in Guatemala
One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, to Santo Tomás de Castilla or Puerto Quetzal: chocolate and compound-coated lines, dragées, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery, jellies and pistachio products, each line on its own pallet. Labels in Spanish to the Central American technical regulation for prepackaged food, and a written offer in US dollars within two working days of your list.

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.
We quote for Guatemalan food importers and distributors, for the houses that run route sales into the tiendas and abarroterías from Guatemala City outwards, for the mayoreo wholesalers who sell candy by the carton in the capital and in the departmental towns, and for retail groups and brands that want chocolate, dragées or Turkish delight made under their own name. If you are searching in Spanish for a distribuidor de dulces al por mayor, for gomitas al por mayor, for the chocolate de Dubai the shelf keeps asking about, for cobertura de chocolate for a pastry counter or for crema de pistacho, this page is written for that list. The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across as many lines as you like.
The confectionery shelf in Guatemala is import-fed, and it prices tightly: the same buyer needs a boxed chocolate for the supermarket in the capital and a wrapped sweet or a compound-coated bar the tienda can sell at a coin price, so the offer says per line whether the coating is chocolate or compound instead of leaving it to the picture on the wrapper. Everything on this site is made in Gaziantep, in our own factory; we are a manufacturer and exporter, and that is what lets one container carry five product groups from our own factory, lets us check a lot before it is packed, and lets us photograph the pallets before the doors close.
We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.
- Food importers and distributors that supply the supermarket chains and run route sales to the tiendas and abarroterías across the country
- Mayoreo wholesalers that sell chocolate, jellies, wrapped sweets and dragées by the carton in the wholesale trade of Guatemala City, Quetzaltenango and the departmental towns
- Pastry, hotel and gift-trade suppliers buying chocolate, pistachio spread, coated nuts and boxed Turkish delight for reposterías, hotels and tourist shops
- Retail groups and brands that want a tablet, a dragée range or a Turkish delight box carrying their own name
Six lines, mixed to your list.
Each line travels on its own pallet; the container is mixed. Outside the core range we source on request and load it in the same shipment.

What stays the same on every offer.
Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.
- Label
- A Spanish label to the Central American technical regulation for the labelling of prepackaged food: the name of the food, the ingredient list with allergens declared, net content in metric units, lot, the storage instruction, the expiry date, the country of origin and the name and address of the importer in Guatemala. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries; for private label we prepare the label content and check your artwork against it before anything is printed.
- Sanitary registration and entry
- Prepackaged food is sold in Guatemala against a sanitary registration held by the importer with the food regulation department of the health ministry, granted on the product, so the file is opened by the buyer and not by us. We supply what that file needs from its side: the technical data sheet, the ingredient breakdown, the shelf-life statement, the analysis report per line and, where the file asks for it, a free sale certificate.
- Customs
- Guatemala applies the Central American common external tariff and the container clears through the SAT customs administration; there is no free trade agreement in force between Türkiye and Guatemala. The offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order.
- Certificates
- Our certificates, with copies on request: the food safety certification the plant is audited to, halal or kosher on the lines that carry it, the technical data sheet and the analysis report. We do not put a certificate on an offer that we do not hold, and we do not sell a certificate as a substitute for a sample.
- What goes in the container
- One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, panelled across the lines you choose, each line on its own pallet so the warehouse can break it down by product rather than by shipment: chocolate tablets and bars, dragées and sugared almonds, Turkish delight plain and with nuts, wrapped confectionery and jellies, and pistachio lines. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer in the warm months; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry. Payment is 50% with the order and 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs; offers are in US dollars, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, written within two working days.
- Route
- Sea freight from Mersin with a transshipment on the way. Santo Tomás de Castilla on the Caribbean side is the usual door for a box out of the eastern Mediterranean, and from there it runs inland on the CA-9 to Guatemala City; Puerto Quetzal on the Pacific is quoted on request. The heat on this route is the crossing, the port and the road, not the destination warehouse, because the coast is hot in every season while the capital sits high and mild. The transshipment port, the delivery term and the transit are written into the offer.
- The tienda, the mayoreo and December
- Two shelves buy from the same container. The supermarket in the capital takes the boxed assortment, the tablet and the gift format; the tienda and the mayoreo trade take the wrapped sweet, the jelly bag and the compound-coated bar in a case weight that keeps the unit price at a coin. December is the peak, when gift baskets are put together and sweets are bought by the carton, and the word people type in that season is turrón: what a Gaziantep container puts on that shelf is Turkish delight with nuts, pistachio rolls, sugared almonds in colour and boxed assortments. If you want a nougat line as such, we confirm the recipe and the format before it goes on an offer.
- Dubai chocolate, pistachio spread and the pastry counter
- The pistachio and kadayıf bar that Guatemala searches for as chocolate de Dubai is made in Gaziantep too, where the pistachio grows and the kadayıf is made, in retail and gift formats in our standard packs or under your brand. Pistachio spread in jars travels with it, on the shelf where the shopper is looking for crema de pistacho or crema de pistache; we call it a spread, not a cream. For the repostería and panadería trade, cobertura de chocolate in bulk kilo format, cocoa, raw nuts and dried fruit are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, and whether a coating is chocolate or compound is stated per line on the offer.
Private label chocolate and confectionery for Guatemalan brands
If you are a Guatemalan importer, a retail group or a brand that wants the line to carry your own name rather than ours, we put our own lines under it: tablets and bars, dragées in doypacks, gift boxes, Turkish delight boxes and pistachio spread in jars. We prepare the Spanish label content to the Central American technical regulation, you approve the artwork in writing before any print run starts, and the minimum per line is confirmed and written into the offer.
Private label for Guatemalan brands →Asked before the first list.
Do you work with importers and distributors in Guatemala?
We quote for food importers, distributors, mayoreo wholesalers, pastry and hotel suppliers, retail groups and private-label brands in Guatemala. Send the product references, the quantities you have in mind and the port you use, and the written offer follows within two working days, in US dollars.
Which port do you ship to, and how long does it take?
Santo Tomás de Castilla is the usual door for a container leaving Mersin, with Puerto Quetzal quoted on request. The route runs with a transshipment; the transshipment port, the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, and the transit are stated in the offer rather than promised in advance.
Is it real chocolate or compound coating?
Both exist, for different shelves, and the offer says which per line. That way the supermarket line and the tienda line are priced for what they are, and a compound-coated bar is never described as chocolate on a document that leaves this office.
Can you supply cobertura de chocolate in bulk for a pastry business?
Bulk couverture in kilo format sits outside our core range: it is sourced on request, and we confirm composition and format before quoting. The same goes for cocoa, raw nuts and dried fruit that a repostería buys alongside it.
Do you have crema de pistacho?
We quote pistachio spread in jars, in retail and food-service formats. Shoppers look for it as pistachio cream, crema de pistacho or crema de pistache, and the shelf name is worth keeping on the label, but the product is a spread and the offer describes it that way, with the pistachio content confirmed per line.
Who holds the sanitary registration and the label responsibility?
The importer holds the sanitary registration in Guatemala and appears on the label as the responsible party. We supply what the file needs from our side, prepare the Spanish label content, and check your artwork against it before printing.
What is the minimum order?
One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, mixed across as many lines as you like, each on its own pallet. The minimum per line is written into the offer.
Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?
Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
Send the list. We do the rest.
