Turkish chocolate, Dubai-style bars, lokum and pistachio for importers and wholesalers in Norway
One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, into Norway: pistachio and kadayıf bars, lokum, chocolate dragées, confectionery and pistachio spread. Norway is not in the EU, so the EU–Türkiye customs union and its A.TR do not apply; goods move under the Türkiye–EFTA free trade agreement on a EUR.1 movement certificate, and the label is prepared in Norwegian. Written offer in US dollars or euros within two working days of your list.

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.
Norway is a small volume for us and an unusual one. Turkish chocolate declared for export to Norway goes out at close to nineteen dollars a kilo — around three and a half times the average unit value of Türkiye's chocolate exports, and roughly six times what the same producers ship to the Balkans. Whatever else that says, it says the Norwegian shelf is not buying the cheap end. So this page does not offer the cheap end.
What fits is the specific and the made-somewhere end: the Dubai-style bar built on pistachio and kadayıf, pistasjkrem by the jar, lokum in printed retail boxes, and chocolate dragées where the centre is named and the coating is real chocolate rather than a compound. Norway has a strong domestic chocolate industry with names every household knows, and nothing here is offered as a replacement for it. The opening is the pistachio, and the fact that it is grown, roasted and filled in the same city.
We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.
- Food importers and distributors that clear their own entries and supply grocery, ho.re.ca. and specialist shops
- Confectionery wholesalers — the godteri grossist and engros trade — buying by the carton for shops, kiosks and the storhusholdning table
- Turkish and Middle Eastern grocery importers in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger already bringing in lokum, baklava and pistachio lines and looking to buy them nearer the producer
- Pastry and bakery suppliers — the konditor trade — looking for chocolate coating, pistachio paste and spread, kadayıf and coated nuts by the kilo
- Norwegian brands and retail chains wanting chocolate, dragées or lokum made under their own name
Six lines, mixed to your list.
Each line travels on its own pallet; the container is mixed. Outside the core range we source on request and load it in the same shipment.

What stays the same on every offer.
Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.
- Entry and the trade agreement
- Norway is not in the European Union, so the EU–Türkiye customs union and its A.TR movement certificate do not apply. Norway is in EFTA, and goods move under the free trade agreement between Türkiye and the EFTA states, with origin proved by a EUR.1 movement certificate or an origin declaration where the value allows it. Norway also applies its own tariff treatment to processed agricultural goods, which can differ line by line; the offer states the tariff line and what applies on the day rather than a figure that would be out of date by the time you read it.
- Label
- A Norwegian label prepared from our technical data sheet: the ingredient list with allergens indicated, the nutrition declaration per 100 g, metric net quantity, the best-before date and the importer's details. Norwegian food labelling follows EEA rules closely, but the importer is the party responsible for the declaration; we prepare the content and you confirm it against what Mattilsynet expects before anything is printed.
- Naming
- On the Norwegian shelf lokum is asked for as tyrkisk delight or lokum. The pistachio jar is asked for as pistasjkrem; what we ship in jars is a spread and the offer says so. Dubai-style bars are asked for as dubai sjokolade, and kadayıf as kadaif.
- Route
- Sea freight from Mersin to Oslo, Larvik or Gothenburg with onward haulage, or a road trailer from Gaziantep across Europe. The port of arrival and the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, are stated in the offer together with the transit.
- Heat
- Chocolate and chocolate-coated products travel at +18/+20 °C. For a mixed container in the warm months we quote a reefer; if you prefer a dry container, the temperature risk goes to you in writing before loading. Lokum, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry all year.
- Certificates
- Held for our factory in Gaziantep: food-safety (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP), Halal and Kosher certificates. The holder is named per line and copies are available on request; a line without a certificate is stated as such rather than covered by a general claim.
- Currency
- US dollars or euros, stated on the quotation, valid thirty days from its date unless it states otherwise. Prices are not quoted in kroner.
- On request
- Couverture and chocolate for pastry work, bulk chocolate by the kilo, bulk pistachio filling, raw pistachios, baklava, halva and tahini are outside the core range. They are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, and load them in the same container.
Private label chocolate and confectionery for Norwegian brands
Looking for a producer to make a bar under your own name? Nordic co-packers come first for a classic Norwegian tablet, and for that they are the right answer. We are the other route: the pistachio and kadayıf end, made in Gaziantep under your name, with the label content prepared in Norwegian.
Private label for Norwegian brands →Asked before the first list.
Do you work with importers and wholesalers in Norway?
We quote for food importers and distributors, confectionery wholesalers buying by the carton, Turkish and Middle Eastern grocery importers, pastry suppliers, and Norwegian brands that want their own label. Send the product references, the quantities you have in mind and the port of arrival; the written offer follows within two working days.
Does the A.TR certificate cover a shipment to Norway?
No. Norway is outside the European Union, so the EU–Türkiye customs union does not apply. Norway is in EFTA and the shipment moves under the Türkiye–EFTA free trade agreement, with origin proved by a EUR.1 movement certificate or an origin declaration. The offer states exactly which document travels with your container.
Who prepares the Norwegian label?
We prepare the content from our technical data sheet: ingredients with allergens indicated, the nutrition declaration per 100 g, metric net quantity, best-before date and the importer's details. The importer is the responsible party for the declaration in Norway, so you confirm it against what Mattilsynet expects, then approve the artwork in writing.
Why is the pistachio end the opening here?
Because it is what the Norwegian shelf does not have from home. Norway has a strong domestic chocolate industry and we are not offering a substitute for it. What Gaziantep has is the pistachio — grown, roasted and filled in the same city — in the Dubai-style bar, in spreads and in coated lines, and the technical data sheet names it as Gaziantep pistachio per line.
Is the duty treatment different from the EU?
Yes, and it is worth settling before the first order. Norway applies its own tariff treatment to processed agricultural goods, which can differ line by line even under the free trade agreement. The offer states the tariff line and what applies on the day; we do not publish rates because they change.
Do you supply couverture or chocolate for pastry work?
Couverture, bulk chocolate by the kilo, tahini and halva sit outside the core range. They are sourced on request: we confirm the cocoa content, the format and the packing before quoting, and they load in the same container as the rest of your list.
What is the minimum order?
One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, or one full trailer, mixed across as many lines as you like. We do not ship part loads. The minimum per line is stated in the offer.
Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?
Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
Send the list. We do the rest.
