- Label
- A Portuguese label: the product name, the ingredient list with the allergen declaration, the nutrition table, metric net weight, storage, the production and expiry dates, the country of origin and the importer’s details. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries; for private label we prepare the label content from our technical data sheet and check your artwork before anything is printed.
- Import licence and entry
- The importer holds the licence and the registration on its side, and food consignments are inspected on entry. The offer states what applies on the day and which documents we supply for it: the technical data sheet per product, our certificates, the health certificate and the analysis report per line.
- Breadth over depth
- One container does not have to be one product. Mix it across chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, confectionery and pistachio lines; the minimum per line and the case weight are stated in the offer, so a single shipment can cover a whole shelf.
- Cocoa grows here, chocolate is still imported
- São Tomé grows fine cocoa and exports it as beans. The confectionery on the shelf still arrives finished from abroad. We are quoting the finished side of that: tablets, bars, dragées, Turkish delight and pistachio products from Gaziantep, on the shelf next to whatever is made locally rather than in place of it.
- Temperature
- The route is long and the destination is warm year round. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer; Turkish delight, sugared almonds, jellies and pistachio products travel dry, and both can share one container.
- Port
- São Tomé, with the transshipment port, the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, and the transit stated in the offer; movement on to Príncipe is on your side, and the case weight per line is in the offer so you can plan it.
- Dubai chocolate, from Türkiye
- The pistachio and kadayif bar sold as Dubai chocolate is made in Gaziantep too, where the pistachio grows and the kadayif is made, in retail and gift formats in our standard packs or under your brand; pistachio cream in jars travels with it.
- Currency and payment
- Offers in US dollars. Bank transfer only: 50% with the order, 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs. The banking route is agreed before the deposit, and the offer states what applies on the day.
- Sourced on request
- Outside the core range we buy in what your list needs and load it in the same container: biscuits and wafers in bulk, sugar free Turkish delight, bulk pistachio nuts, nuts and dried fruit in bulk, halva, instant coffee and spices.
