Turkish chocolate, Dubai-style bars, lokum and pistachio for importers and wholesalers in Sweden
One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, into Sweden: pistachio and kadayıf bars, lokum, chocolate dragées, confectionery and pistachio spread — in bulk cartons for the storpack and lösgodis trade and in retail packs for the shelf. Sweden is in the EU and Türkiye is in the EU–Türkiye customs union, so processed confectionery moves on an A.TR movement certificate and the label content is prepared to Regulation (EU) 1169/2011 in Swedish. Written offer in US dollars or euros within two working days of your list.

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.
Sweden is a large confectionery market and Türkiye is a small part of it. On the most recent full year of trade figures Türkiye was the seventeenth source of Sweden's chocolate imports and the thirteenth of its sugar confectionery — together about one per cent of a market worth over a billion dollars. Danish, Dutch, German, Polish, Finnish and Slovak product fills most of it. That is the honest starting point: here we are not the incumbent, we are the alternative on a specific set of lines.
Which lines those are is worth being precise about. The Swedish trade buys candy in bulk — storpack for the shelf and by the carton for the lösgodis wall — and that is a format our factory is built for. The pistachio end is the other opening: the Dubai-style bar on pistachio and kadayıf, pistagekräm by the jar, and lokum, which the Swedish shelf files under marmeladkonfekt as often as under its own name. What we do not claim is a place in the Nordic liquorice and wine gum tradition; that is Danish and Dutch ground and we are not offering a substitute for it.
We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.
- Food importers and distributors that clear their own entries and supply grocery, ho.re.ca. and specialist shops across Sweden
- Candy wholesalers — the godis grossist trade supplying butik and restaurang, and the lösgodis wall — buying by the carton and in storpack
- Pastry and bakery suppliers — the konditori and bageri råvaror trade — looking for chocolate in bulk, pistachio paste and spread, kadayıf and coated nuts by the kilo
- Turkish and Middle Eastern grocery importers in Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö already bringing in lokum, baklava and pistachio lines and looking to buy them nearer the producer
- Swedish brands and retail chains wanting chocolate, dragées or lokum made under their own name for the Swedish shelf
Six lines, mixed to your list.
Each line travels on its own pallet; the container is mixed. Outside the core range we source on request and load it in the same shipment.

What stays the same on every offer.
Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.
- Entry and the trade agreement
- Sweden is in the EU and Türkiye is in the EU–Türkiye customs union, so processed confectionery under chapters 17 and 18 moves on an A.TR movement certificate rather than a free-trade origin proof. The offer states the tariff line and what applies on the day; rates are not published on this site because they change.
- Label
- A Swedish label to Regulation (EU) 1169/2011: the ingredient list with allergens indicated, the nutrition declaration per 100 g, metric net quantity, the best-before date, and the name and address of the business placing the product on the market in the EU. Where a line is a compound coating rather than chocolate, EU rules do not allow it to be called chocolate; the offer says so per line and the name on the pack is checked before anything is printed.
- Naming
- On the Swedish shelf lokum is asked for as turkisk delight or lokum, and it is often filed under marmeladkonfekt. The pistachio jar is asked for as pistagekräm; what we ship in jars is a spread and the offer says so. Dubai-style bars are asked for as dubai choklad. Bulk formats are storpack, and the pick-and-mix wall is lösgodis.
- Route
- Sea freight from Mersin to Gothenburg, Helsingborg or Stockholm, or a road trailer from Gaziantep across Europe. The port of arrival and the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, are stated in the offer together with the transit.
- Heat
- Chocolate and chocolate-coated products travel at +18/+20 °C. For a mixed container in the warm months we quote a reefer; if you prefer a dry container, the temperature risk goes to you in writing before loading. Lokum, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry all year.
- Certificates
- Held for our factory in Gaziantep: food-safety (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP), Halal and Kosher certificates. The holder is named per line and copies are available on request; a line without a certificate is stated as such rather than covered by a general claim.
- Currency
- US dollars or euros, stated on the quotation, valid thirty days from its date unless it states otherwise. Prices are not quoted in kronor.
- On request
- Couverture and chocolate for pastry work, bulk chocolate by the kilo, bulk pistachio filling, raw pistachios, baklava, halva and tahini are outside the core range. They are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, and load them in the same container.
Private label chocolate and confectionery for Swedish brands
Looking for a producer to make a bar or a storpack under your own name? Nordic co-packers come first for a classic Swedish tablet or a liquorice line, and for that they are the right answer. We are the other route: the pistachio and kadayıf end, made in Gaziantep under your name, with the label content prepared to EU rules in Swedish.
Private label for Swedish brands →Asked before the first list.
Do you work with importers and wholesalers in Sweden?
We quote for food importers and distributors, candy wholesalers supplying shops, restaurants and the lösgodis wall, pastry and bakery suppliers, Turkish and Middle Eastern grocery importers, and Swedish brands that want their own label. Send the product references, the quantities you have in mind and the port of arrival; the written offer follows within two working days.
Does the A.TR certificate cover a shipment to Sweden?
Yes. Sweden is in the EU and processed confectionery under chapters 17 and 18 moves inside the EU–Türkiye customs union on an A.TR movement certificate. The offer states which document travels with your container, together with the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day.
Who prepares the Swedish label?
We prepare the content from our technical data sheet to Regulation (EU) 1169/2011: ingredients with allergens indicated, the nutrition declaration per 100 g, metric net quantity, the best-before date, and the name and address of the business placing the product on the market. You place it in your artwork and approve the final version in writing.
Can you supply in storpack and for the lösgodis wall?
Bulk is a format our factory is built for. Dragées, sugared almonds, coated nuts and jellies come in bulk cartons for repacking and for the pick-and-mix wall; the case weight and the pieces per carton are stated per line in the offer. Storpack retail bags are a separate format and we quote them as such.
Is Turkish confectionery already sold in Sweden?
Only in a small way. On the most recent trade figures Türkiye is the thirteenth source of Sweden's sugar confectionery imports and the seventeenth of its chocolate — together about one per cent of the market. We are the alternative on specific lines, not the incumbent, and the page is written that way.
Do you supply couverture or chocolate for pastry work?
Couverture, bulk chocolate by the kilo, tahini and halva sit outside the core range. They are sourced on request: we confirm the cocoa content, the format and the packing before quoting, and they load in the same container as the rest of your list.
What is the minimum order?
One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, or one full trailer, mixed across as many lines as you like. We do not ship part loads. The minimum per line is stated in the offer.
Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?
Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
Send the list. We do the rest.
