Turkish confectionery, lokum, Dubai-style bars and dragées for importers and wholesalers in Ukraine

One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, into Ukraine: lokum plain and with whole pistachio, pistachio and kadayıf bars, chocolate dragées and sugared almonds by colour, jellies in bulk cartons and pistachio spread in jars — with the label content prepared in Ukrainian and the minimum counted per line.

Cases of chocolate, dragées and Turkish delight consolidated for one container in Gaziantep
Who we quote for

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.

Ukraine imported around a hundred and ninety-nine million dollars of chocolate and roughly eighty-nine million dollars of sugar confectionery in the most recent year it reported. In chocolate Türkiye was the twelfth source at under two per cent, well behind Poland at a third of the market. In sugar confectionery the position is completely different: Türkiye is the second source at over eighteen per cent, behind Poland and ahead of Germany and China.

The measured search demand points the same way, and more sharply than in most markets we have looked at. Ukrainian-language search for рахат лукум, пахлава and фісташкова паста runs high and the results are shops selling them, not encyclopedia entries — there are e-shops here whose whole category is турецькі солодощі.

So a first container is built on the confectionery side, where the trade is already proven, with two or three chocolate lines the domestic shelf does not carry to carry the difference: the bar with pistachio and kadayıf, lokum with whole pistachio, dragées sorted by colour.

We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.

  • Food importers and distributors that clear their own entries and supply retail chains, ho.re.ca. and specialist shops.
  • Цукерки wholesalers and cash-and-carry buying by the carton, with bulk jellies and dragées for the weighed counter.
  • The турецькі солодощі trade — e-shops and specialist retailers whose category is Turkish and oriental sweets, already moving lokum, baklava and pistachio products.
  • The бонбоньєрка trade: favour makers and gift studios buying dragées by colour and calibre and assembling the favour themselves.
  • Ukrainian brands and retailers that want the same products under their own name — the route is set out on the private label page.

Ukraine notes

What stays the same on every offer.

Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.

Entry and the framework
The importer declares the goods and answers for their conformity with Ukrainian food law; the state food safety authority oversees the market. We supply the ground for it per line — our technical data sheet, the ingredient list and allergens, net weight, the batch analysis report and the customs tariff heading. Rates and lists change; the offer states what applies on the day.
The label is Ukrainian
The mandatory particulars are in Ukrainian and the company that first places the goods on the market is named on the pack. We prepare the content from our technical data sheet; your labelling office or your own team signs it off. This is not a market where a Russian-language label will do.
The two tables do not match
Twelfth in chocolate at under two per cent, second in sugar confectionery at over eighteen. The door into this market is the confectionery side — lokum, jellies and popping candy in bulk cartons for the weighed counter, dragées and sugared almonds by colour and calibre, chocolate-coated nuts and fruit centres.
Turkish sweets are a named category here
Ukrainian e-shops run турецькі солодощі as a category of their own, with lokum and baklava listed by name. That is a channel that already exists and already imports; it is a different conversation from introducing an unfamiliar origin.
Paste or spread
Ukrainian search for фісташкова паста is strong, and the results show both the hundred-per-cent pastry paste sold by the kilo and the jar for the shelf. What we run is the sweetened spread in jars. The hundred-per-cent unsweetened pastry paste is sourced on request, with composition and format confirmed before quoting.
Favours for wedding guests
Бонбоньєрка carries steady demand and the results are favour makers and gift studios rather than food shops. The line that fits is the dragée: sugared almonds and chocolate dragées in bulk cartons, sorted by colour and by calibre. We supply the carton that fills the favour, not the finished favour; the tulle, box and ribbon are assembled on your side.
Dubai-style bars and pistachio
The bar is pistachio spread with crisp kadayıf in a coating; both come from Gaziantep. The offer states the pistachio percentage per line and whether the coating is chocolate or a cocoa glaze.
Who the label names
The address on the pack is yours, not ours. Certificates — food safety, halal and kosher — are held for our factory; copies are available on request. A line without a certificate is named as such.
Coating and what may be called chocolate
A vegetable-fat glaze is not the same product as chocolate, and the difference is invisible in a photograph. We state which it is per line and the technical data sheet says so before anything goes to print — it decides what the pack may call itself.
Temperature and the season
Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines travel at +18/+20 °C. For a mixed container in the warm months we offer a reefer; if you prefer a dry container the temperature risk passes to you, in writing, before loading. Lokum, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry all year, so the offer states the regime per group rather than for the load as a whole.
Halal and kosher
We name the issuing body and the scheme per line, and the copy is available on request. The certificate is held for our factory. A line without one is named as such rather than covered by a general claim.
Outside the range
Couverture, bulk chocolate by the kilo, raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa, empty packaging, baklava, halva and tahini sit outside our standing range. They are sourced on request: we take your specification to production, confirm composition and format, and come back with what can actually be supplied — or a clear no. Either answer comes in writing within two working days.

Questions

Asked before the first list.

Do you work with importers and wholesalers in Ukraine?

Yes — food importers and distributors, цукерки wholesalers and cash-and-carry, the турецькі солодощі trade, the бонбоньєрка trade, and Ukrainian brands wanting their own label.

Where does Türkiye sit in Ukrainian imports?

Twelfth in chocolate at under two per cent, and second in sugar confectionery at over eighteen per cent, behind Poland. The confectionery side is the established one, which is why most first containers are built around it.

Is the label in Ukrainian or Russian?

Ukrainian. The mandatory particulars are in Ukrainian and the company that first places the goods on the market is named on the pack; we prepare the content from our technical data sheet.

Is the pistachio jar a paste or a spread?

A spread. Ukrainian search shows both the hundred-per-cent pastry paste sold by the kilo and the jar for the shelf; what we run is the sweetened spread. The pastry paste is sourced on request, with composition and format confirmed before quoting.

Can you supply dragées for бонбоньєрка work?

Yes, in bulk cartons sorted by colour and calibre. We supply the carton, not the assembled favour: the tulle, box and ribbon are put together on your side. The minimum is per line, so one order can carry several colours.

How does the load travel in summer?

Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines travel at +18/+20 °C. In the warm months we offer a reefer; with a dry container the temperature risk passes to the buyer, in writing, before loading. Lokum, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry all year.

What is the minimum and how is it paid?

The sales unit is a full container or trailer and we do not ship partial loads, but the minimum is counted per line, so one load can carry six or seven lines in modest quantities. Payment is half with the order and half before the container leaves, against loading photographs.

Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?

Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
