The other route

Made in Gaziantep, sold under your brand.

A Bahamian brand searching for a private label chocolate manufacturer usually has one of three things in mind: a souvenir gift box that leaves the island in a suitcase, a resort or retail group's own line for its shops and rooms, or a distributor's house brand so the shelf no longer depends on a single imported label. We are the route for all three — a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, Türkiye, putting our own lines under your name and shipping the container to Nassau or Freeport with the documents per line.

The reason to do it from here is range in one shipment. A pistachio tablet made where the pistachio grows, sugared almonds and chocolate dragées in your colours, a Turkish delight box, a kadayif-filled bar and a pistachio spread jar can come from our own factory on one order, one packing list and one document set. In a market where 67.6% of the chocolate and confectionery shelf arrived from one neighbour in 2024, an own-brand line from a second origin is not only a margin decision; it is the part of the range that does not stop when one lane stops.

The questions that decide it are always the same three. Who makes it: our own factory in Gaziantep. At what minimum: set per line, written down before you commit. And what the label will say: we prepare the content, you approve it, and we print from the file you approved and nothing else.

Your label goes on lines produced in our own factory in Gaziantep.

Formats

Five formats, one container.

How it works

Nothing printed before you approve.

  1. 01

    Lines and formats

You name the lines and say which channel they are for — shop, room, duty-free counter or trolley — because on these islands the channel decides the format before anything else does. We then confirm which lines can be run under your name, at what minimum and in what lead time. Couverture, bulk chocolate by the kilo, raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa, empty packaging, baklava, halva and tahini are outside the range and sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting.

  2. 02

    Label content and registration

The Bahamas sits outside the regional single market its neighbours share, so a label and a document set built for one of those islands does not carry across unchanged. We prepare the English content per line against what applies here, from our technical data sheet, and the importer of record files it with the data sheet, the analysis report and our documents. The certificates that apply are named line by line. The offer states what applies on the day.

  3. 03

    Artwork

You send the artwork; we check it against the label content and you approve the final version in writing before anything goes to print. A group running one line under more than one property's sleeve approves each sleeve on its own, so the room pack and the shop pack are never printed from the same unapproved file.

  4. 04

    Production and shipping

We run the line in our factory, we check and photograph the pallets with the doors open, and the container leaves Mersin for Nassau or Freeport, in a reefer for chocolate lines, with the document set per line. If the goods are to move on to a second island after entry, that split is set out in the packing list before loading rather than worked out at the quay.

The honest part

What to know before the first list.

Label
An English label: the name of the food, the ingredient list with allergens, the metric net weight, storage conditions, the production and expiry dates and the importer's name and address. One naming rule matters more than it looks. A real chocolate line and a compound or glaze line never get the same word on our documents or on the artwork we check, because a vegetable-fat coating cannot be labelled as chocolate in several markets and a buyer should know which one is in the carton before it lands. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries; for private label we prepare the label content and check your artwork against it before anything is printed.
Formats we can put your name on
Tablets and bars in milk, dark, white and filled, pistachio bars and kadayif-filled bars, in your box or wrapper. Sugared almonds and chocolate dragées in your colours, in bulk cartons, doypacks or printed boxes. Gift and retail boxes of Turkish delight, special lokum and mini-bar assortments. Single-serve sachets, flowpacks and cups for the trolley and the amenity tray. Pistachio spread in glass jars with your label.
Minimums
Set per line and written into the offer. The unit of sale is one full container, and it can mix your own-brand lines with lines in our standard packs, so a first own-brand run does not have to fill the box on its own.
Label content and the naming rule
We prepare the English label content from our technical data sheet: the name of the food, the ingredient list with allergens, the metric net weight, storage, the production and expiry dates and the importer's name and address. A compound or glaze line is never described as chocolate on the artwork we check — the coating decides the word, and that stays true on a souvenir box as much as on a supermarket wrapper.
Artwork and approval
You send the artwork, we check it against the label content, and you approve the final version in writing. Nothing is printed before that, and we print from the approved file.
Entry documents
An own-brand line enters The Bahamas like any other line: the importer of record clears it under national Bahamian rules rather than a community regime, and we supply the technical data sheet, our certificates and the analysis report per line. The offer states what each line needs, so the paperwork is assembled before the deposit rather than at the quay.
Certificates
Held for our factory in Gaziantep: food-safety (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP), Halal and Kosher certificates. The holder is named per line and copies are available on request. We do not put a certificate on a line it does not cover.
Samples
Sent from our running production, at no charge for the goods; you cover the courier, paid before dispatch. Samples come from the same lines the offer prices, so what you taste is what the container carries.
Currency and payment
Offers in US dollars. Bank transfer only; the deposit and the balance, the stage at which each falls due, and the loading photographs that go with the balance are written into the offer before production starts.
Questions

Asked by brands first.

Are you the manufacturer?

Yes. Chocolate, dragées, pistachio and hazelnut creams, popping candy and Turkish delight are made in our own factory in Gaziantep, and we have exported since 2002. We run your private-label lines, check the lot before packing and load the container at our factory.

Can we start with one product?

The unit of sale is one full container, but it can carry a single own-brand line together with lines in our standard packs, so a first order does not have to be a year of one item.

Who prepares the label?

We prepare the label content from our technical data sheet; you place it in your artwork, add the importer's details, and approve the final version in writing before anything is printed.

Can the dragées come in our colours?

Yes, on selected lines: we run the colours you name and the cartons or boxes carry your brand. The minimum per colour is stated in the offer.

Can you do a souvenir gift box for the duty-free and resort shops?

Yes — printed retail boxes of Turkish delight, mini-bar and dragée assortments are among the formats that can carry your name. We confirm the box, the case count and the minimum before quoting, so the shelf plan and the container plan agree.

Are you a private label chocolate manufacturer?

Yes. Your label is printed in our own factory in Gaziantep after you approve the artwork, and the minimum per line is stated in the offer. Prices are not published; they come in the written offer.
