Private label · Paraguay

Private label chocolate and confectionery from Türkiye, for Paraguayan brands

Tablet and bar boxes, dragées in doypacks and pyramid boxes, sachets and flowpacks, 350 g lokum boxes and pistachio spread jars, made in Gaziantep under your own name and brought up the river to Asunción or Villeta. We prepare the Spanish label content from our technical data sheet, to what Paraguay requires under the Mercosur labelling rules, and your designer places it in the arte final. Nothing is printed before you approve that artwork in writing.

Private-label range on podiums: tablet carton, bars, doypack, praline box, spread jars, biscuit cup, cupcake box and popping-candy sachets
The other route

Made in Gaziantep, sold under your brand.

A Paraguayan importer, distribuidora or supermarket group that decides to put its own name on a confectionery line has a narrower set of options than the size of the shelf suggests. The shelf here is import-fed, and the co-packers with a line long enough to run somebody else's brand at a workable length mostly sit across the border in Argentina and Brazil — so the question is rarely local against imported, it is which import, on whose terms and at whose minimum per product. Nobody in Asunción types a Spanish phrase for a private label chocolate factory into a search box; the words that get typed are the shelf's own — chocolate de Dubái for the pistachio and kadayıf bar, turrón and turrón de maní at the sweet counter, cobertura de chocolate behind the pastry counter. That is why this page explains the work instead of advertising it.

We are the manufacturer and exporter. The products are made in our factory in Gaziantep, Türkiye, next door to us, and we put their lines under your brand: tablets and bars, dragées and sugared almonds, wrapped sweets and jellies, boxed Turkish delight and pistachio spread jars. Against a co-packer over the border, what this route gives you is origin and breadth in one movement — a pistachio line made where the pistachio grows, the Dubai-style pistachio and kadayıf bar, dragées and sugared almonds in your own colours for the wedding and favour trade, a 350 g lokum box for the gift shelf and a pistachio spread jar, from our own factory, on one order, one set of documents and one file for your despachante. Because Paraguay has no coastline, that counts for more here than elsewhere: the container is transshipped at Montevideo or Buenos Aires and comes up the Paraná–Paraguay waterway, so a wrong ingredient line on a printed box is not a mistake you correct in a week. It is settled before the plates are made. The minimum is set per line and stated in the offer.

Your label goes on lines produced in our own factory in Gaziantep.

Formats

Five formats, one container.

Tablet and bar boxesMilk, dark, white and filled tablets, pistachio bars and the pistachio and kadayıf bar the shelf here asks for as chocolate de Dubái, in your own box or wrapper. The offer states line by line whether the coating is chocolate or a compound coating made with vegetable fat: on a route with a slow river leg and a hot December that is a working decision and not a wording one, and a compound coating is not called chocolate on the box.Doypacks and pyramid boxesDragées, sugared almonds and coated nuts in stand-up pouches and in pyramid or window boxes, in your colours on selected lines. This is the format the wedding, baptism and favour trade buys, and the one the Ciudad del Este shops sell to a shopper who carries the box back over the bridge.Sachets, flowpacks and cupsJellies, wrapped sweets and mini biscuits in single-serve packs for the kiosk, the despensa and the supermarket checkout, in your wrapper. It is the cheapest place to start a house brand, and the place where the piece count per carton decides whether the shelf price works.350 g lokum boxesTurkish delight, plain and pistachio-filled, in printed retail boxes for the gift and delicatessen shelf: your brand on the lid, the Spanish label content on the back. It is a gift-counter format rather than a weekly-basket one, which is what makes it work in Asunción and on the border.Jars (pistachio spread)Pistachio spread in glass jars under your own label. Paraguay shops for it as crema de pistacho; on the label it is a spread, because that is what it is. Pistachio paste by the kilo for the pastry trade is a different product and sits outside this range.
How it works

Nothing printed before you approve.

  1. 01

    Line and minimum

You name the lines from the product pages and the pack format you want. We confirm which of them can be made under your brand, at what minimum, in what lead time, and whether each line is chocolate or a compound coating. Minimums are set per line and stated in the offer. Samples come free of charge from our running production, you cover the courier, and you approve the line on the sample before any artwork goes towards print.

  2. 02

    Label content

We prepare the Spanish label content from our ficha técnica: the name of the food, the ingredient list with the allergen declaration, the nutrition table, net contents in metric units, the lot and the best before date, storage conditions, the country of origin, and the space the importer's name, address and registration have to occupy — to what Paraguay requires under the Mercosur labelling rules. The registration itself sits with your importer; the content comes from us.

  3. 03

    Artwork approval

Your designer places that content in the arte final. We check the placed artwork against the label content line by line, you approve it in writing, and only then are plates made. Nothing is printed before that approval — not a box, not a wrapper, not a jar label — because a corrected pack cannot be sent up the river in a hurry.

  4. 04

    Production and loading

We run the line. We check the lot before packing, consolidate and photograph the pallets, each line on its own pallet, and the container leaves for transshipment at Montevideo or Buenos Aires with the reefer setting written into the offer for the chocolate lines, the origin document for the shipment and the document set your despachante needs at the river port.

The honest part

What to know before the first list.

Label
A Spanish label carrying the information Paraguay requires under the Mercosur labelling rules: the name of the food, the ingredient list with the allergen declaration, the nutrition table, net contents in metric units, the lot, the best before date, storage conditions, the country of origin and the importer's name, address and registration. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries and what the importer has to add; for private label we prepare the label content from our technical data sheet and check your artwork against it before anything is printed.
Registration and entry
Imported food is registered by the importer with the health authority before it lands, and the consignment is cleared through a licensed customs broker, the despachante de aduanas. The registration, the entry permits a line may need and the sanitary paperwork sit on the importer's side. From our side you receive the technical data sheet per product, our certificates and the analysis report per line and states what each line needs on the day.
Customs and duty
Paraguay is a Mercosur member and applies the bloc's common external tariff, with the national exception lists that go with it, and there is no free trade agreement in force between Paraguay and Türkiye. The offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order. Nothing about duty is printed on this site, because it changes, and on this route the transit through the port of entry is part of the same calculation.
Certificates
Our documents travel with the line: the quality and food-safety certificates, halal where the line is certified, kosher on request, and the analysis report per line. We send the technical data sheet per product. Nothing is claimed for a line the certificate does not cover, and where a coating is made with vegetable fat the offer says compound rather than chocolate.
Minimums
Set per line and stated in the offer. The unit of sale is one full container, panelled: your own-brand line travels in the same box as other lines, yours or in our standard packs, each on its own pallet. A first order under your name is not limited to one product, which is what makes an own brand workable in a market this size.
Lead time
Stated per line in the offer and counted from the deposit and the written artwork approval, not from the first enquiry. To that add the sea leg to Montevideo or Buenos Aires and the barge leg up the Paraná–Paraguay waterway, which runs slower in the months when the water is low. A pack aimed at the December weeks is planned backwards from that calendar rather than forwards from the day you decide.
Certificates
Held for our factory in Gaziantep: the food-safety certification the plant is audited to, halal or kosher on the lines that carry it, and the analysis report for the line being quoted. The holder and the certifying body are named per line and copies are available on request. Where a line is not certified, we say so instead of borrowing one from another line.
Currency and payment
Offers in US dollars, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, whatever currency your own shelf price is set in. Bank transfer, 50% with the order and 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs of your pallets. The offer states the banking route that applies on the day, and it states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you commit to plates.
No coastline, so the label is decided first
Containers for Paraguay are transshipped at Montevideo or Buenos Aires and come up the river to Asunción or Villeta, and a correction on that route is not a courier job. That is why the label content is settled from the ficha técnica before the arte final is laid out, why the placed artwork is checked line by line, and why nothing is printed before your written approval. The same logic decides the coating: chocolate lines are quoted in a reefer for a slow leg through a hot southern summer, and where we propose a compound coating instead, the offer says so per line and the box does not call it chocolate.
Turrón, cobertura and what is not ours
Two of the things this market searches for most in the category are not ours to make. Turrón and turrón de maní are a regional nougat shelf filled by South American makers; from Gaziantep the lines that stand next to them on the same counter are the pistachio bar, boxed Turkish delight and sugared almonds. Behind the pastry counter the demand is for cobertura de chocolate and pistachio paste by the kilo, and that sits outside the finished-goods range along with raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa and empty packaging: sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting.
The other route
A co-packer is the obvious alternative, and for a plain milk bar, a bag of gomitas or an alfajor it is usually the right one. The co-packers that will run someone else's brand at a workable length mostly sit in Argentina and Brazil, so that road is an import too, with its own minimum per product and its own paperwork. This route earns its place where the product has to come from origin — pistachio lines, the pistachio and kadayıf bar, sugared almonds and dragées, boxed Turkish delight, pistachio spread — and where you want several of them under one brand, in one container, on one set of documents.
Questions

Asked by brands first.

Are you the manufacturer?

Yes. Chocolate, dragées, pistachio and hazelnut creams, popping candy and Turkish delight are made in our own factory in Gaziantep, and we have exported since 2002. We run your private-label lines, check the lot before packing and load the container at our factory.

Can we launch our own brand without filling a container with one product?

Yes. The unit of sale is one full container and it is panelled: your own-brand line travels beside other lines, yours or in our standard packs, each on its own pallet. The minimum per line is stated in the offer, so a first order under your name does not have to be one product in bulk.

Who prepares the Spanish label, and when is anything printed?

We prepare the content from our ficha técnica, to what Paraguay requires under the Mercosur labelling rules, including the space for the importer's details and registration; the registration itself is your importer's to hold. Your designer places the content in the arte final, we check the placed artwork against it line by line, and you approve it in writing. Nothing is printed before that approval.

How does an own-brand container reach a landlocked country, and does that change the artwork?

It is transshipped at Montevideo or Buenos Aires and comes up the Paraná–Paraguay waterway to the river ports of Asunción or Villeta, or overland where the schedule needs it; the offer names the transshipment port, the delivery term and the transit. It changes the artwork discipline rather than the artwork: a printed box that is wrong cannot be replaced quickly on this route, so the content is fixed before the plates are made.

Can we have the Dubai-style pistachio and kadayıf bar under our own brand?

It is made in Gaziantep, where the pistachio grows and the kadayıf is made, in retail and gift formats, and it can carry your brand. The minimum is set per line and stated in the offer, and the offer also states whether the coating on the line you choose is chocolate or a compound coating, because the box has to say the same thing.

Can you make turrón de maní, or cobertura in blocks, with our name on it?

Peanut nougat is a regional category made by South American producers, not part of the range we hold, and bulk couverture and chocolate by the kilo sit outside it as well, together with pistachio paste in buckets, raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa and empty packaging: sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting. What we can put under your brand next to that shelf is the pistachio bar, boxed Turkish delight, dragées and sugared almonds.

What will the duty be, and does the origin document reduce it?

Paraguay applies the Mercosur common external tariff with the national exception lists that go with it, and there is no free trade agreement in force between Paraguay and Türkiye, so the origin document proves where the goods were made rather than buying a lower rate. The offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day. We do not print rates on this site, because they change.

Are you a private label chocolate manufacturer?

Yes. Your label is printed in our own factory in Gaziantep after you approve the artwork, and the minimum per line is stated in the offer. Prices are not published; they come in the written offer.
