A Portuguese brand or importer that searches for a private label chocolate manufacturer usually wants two things: a tablet or a bar under its own name that it does not have to make itself, and a dragée line in its own colours for the gift and wedding trade. We prepare the label content to the EU food information rules in Portuguese, with the languages you name for re-export: the ingredient list with allergens emphasised, the nutrition declaration per 100 g, metric net quantity, the best before date, and the name and EU address of the responsible food business. The data comes from our technical data sheet.

Artwork
You send the artwork; we check it against the label content and you approve it in writing. Nothing is printed before that.

Production and shipping
We run the line in our factory, we check and photograph the pallets, and the container leaves Mersin with the A.TR movement certificate and the document set for entry in Portugal, in a reefer for chocolate lines in the warm months.
What to know before the first list.
- Label
- A Portuguese label to the EU food information rules: the ingredient list with allergens emphasised, the nutrition declaration per 100 g, metric net quantity, the best before date and the name and EU address of the food business responsible. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries and what the importer adds; for private label we prepare the label content from our technical data sheet and check your artwork before anything is printed.
- Customs union
- Portugal is in the EU, and Türkiye and the EU are in a customs union: chocolate and confectionery travel with an A.TR movement certificate, and the offer states the tariff line for each product and what applies on the day. Nothing about duty is printed on this site, because it changes.
- Food business registration and dairy
- The importer is registered as a food business with the food safety authority. Where a line contains dairy, as milk chocolate does, the EU rules for composite products apply and the attestation the entry point asks for is drawn up from our documents; the offer states which lines are affected.
- Minimums
- Set per line and stated in the offer; the unit of sale is one full container, which can mix your own lines with lines in our standard packs.
- Certificates
- Held for our factory in Gaziantep: food-safety (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP), Halal and Kosher certificates. The holder is named per line and copies are available on request.
- Samples
- Free of charge from our running production; you cover the courier, paid before dispatch.
- Lead time
- Stated per line in the offer and counted from the deposit and the approved artwork.
- Currency and payment
- Offers in US dollars; bank transfer, 50% with the order and 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.

Are you the manufacturer?
Yes. Chocolate, dragées, pistachio and hazelnut creams, popping candy and Turkish delight are made in our own factory in Gaziantep, and we have exported since 2002. We run your private-label lines, check the lot before packing and load the container at our factory.
Who prepares the Portuguese label?
We prepare the content from our technical data sheet to the EU food information rules; you place it in your artwork, add the food business details, and approve the final version in writing.
Can we order dragées in our own colours and boxes?
Yes, on selected lines: we run the colours you name and the cartons or boxes carry your brand. The minimum per colour and per line is stated in the offer.
What does the A.TR certificate change?
It is what the customs union treatment depends on. It travels with the document set, and the offer states the tariff line and what applies on the day.
Are you a private label chocolate manufacturer?
Yes. Your label is printed in our own factory in Gaziantep after you approve the artwork, and the minimum per line is stated in the offer. Prices are not published; they come in the written offer.
