Who makes each line
We are a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep. The chocolate, the lokum, the dragées and the jarred pistachio spread are made in our Gaziantep factory; we load the lines into one container and carry the paperwork. That distinction decides who you are really buying from, so it belongs at the first enquiry rather than later.
The offer therefore specifies every line. An order of six references may involve more than one factory, and the document says which line comes from which. If a buyer wants to check a name independently, there is a name to check.
Specification and analysis, line by line
Each line carries its own technical specification: ingredients and allergens, net weight, carton and pallet data, the minimum, and the customs tariff heading. Where an analysis report exists for a line, it comes from our factory and travels in that line's file, not as a general statement about the range.
Certificates are held for our factory. We pass copies on request, so the buyer reads the holder's name on the document itself.
A sample before a container
A container is a large first step for an unproven supplier, so the step before it is a small batch. The point of a sample is not a tasting in our office; it is the buyer putting the product in front of their own customers, on their own shelf or in their own production, and seeing what comes back.
Which references go, in what quantity and on what terms, is agreed in writing before anything is sent. A sample that changes the order is a good outcome: a line is cheaper to drop or swap at that stage than after a minimum has been produced.
Payment in two halves
Payment is 50 per cent at order and 50 per cent before the container leaves, and the second half falls due against loading photographs. The sequence is deliberate: the buyer sees their own pallets, stacked and marked, before the remaining money moves.
This does not remove the risk from a first transaction and we would not claim that it does. It does mean the open exposure at any moment is a figure both sides agreed in advance, and that the balance is released after there is something photographed to look at.
Six or seven lines, not one
The sales unit is a full container or a full truck; there is no part load. The minimum, though, is set per line and written into the offer — it is not a minimum per container. That is why a first order need not be a bet on a single reference: it can carry six or seven of them in measured quantity, each on its own pallet, under one packing list and one movement certificate.
Cyprus is in the EU, so processed confectionery moves under the customs union on an A.TR movement certificate; the offer states what applies on the day. The retail label is in Greek, and the operator whose name is on the pack answers for it — on an import, the importer established in the Union. We draft label text from our technical specification, and nothing goes to print without written approval.
What to send
Send the references you would test, a quantity against each, the delivery address or port, and whether the goods are going to pre-packed retail or to a weigh-out counter, since that decides the carton. Say also whether the pack carries our label or your own. The written offer follows within two working days, line by line: technical specification, ingredients and allergens, net weight, carton and pallet data, minimum and tariff heading.
You have not shipped to Cyprus before — why should a first order go to you?
Not on trust alone. The offer is built out of checkable things instead: the technical specification and, where it exists, the analysis report, a sample batch before any container, and payment split so the balance falls due against loading photographs.
Whose name is on the certificates?
Ours. Certificates are issued to our factory. We state what applies to each line and pass copies on request.
Can a first order carry more than one product?
Yes. The minimum is per line, stated in the offer, not per container. A first order can carry six or seven references in measured quantity, each on its ownpallet, under one packing list.
