What each corner of the hotel buys
The minibar wants the tablet and the wrapped mini bar, and a turndown chocolate with the hotel’s name on the sleeve; the hotel shop wants the pistachio tablet, the Dubai style bar and the boxed Turkish delight a guest carries home; the restaurant wants pistachio cream and coated nuts for the dessert table; the airport wants the gift box. The chocolate page, the Turkish delight page and the pistachio page list the groups.
The easiest line for the coast
Plain lokum does not melt. It travels dry, it sits in a hotel shop without a chiller, and it keeps for the months we declare, which makes the box the easiest Turkish gift line for a coast where chocolate needs a reefer and a cold store. A hotel supplier usually starts with the box for that reason, and adds the chocolate lines, in the reefer, for the minibar and the chilled shop.
The cool chain
The route and the coast are warm in every season, so chocolate lines travel in a reefer year round and go straight into the hotel’s cold store; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry. The offer states which lines go which way, and a supplier that plans the two separately loses nothing to the heat.
Who buys the container
A hotel buys by the carton from the supplier that imports it; the supplier fills the container, with the hotel lines on their own pallets next to the shop lines and the market lines, so the hotel lines ride on an order it was making anyway. A hotel group that stocks several properties fills a container on its own and is quoted like an importer, with the registration on its side. The mixed-container page explains how the load is built, and the Gambian private label page goes through the hotel’s own name on the pack.
Price, and what is not printed here
The price per line in US dollars, the case count, the pallet plan and the tariff line are in the offer, with the duty that applies on the day and the registration documents listed; nothing that moves with the exchange rate or the season is printed on this site. What a hotel charges for the room is its own business; what the turndown chocolate and the box cost by the carton is in the offer before the season.
What to send first
The lines from the chocolate page, the confectionery page and the Turkish delight page, the quantity per line, and whether any line carries your own brand. The written offer follows within two working days, in US dollars and the registration documents listed; the samples page explains how to taste the lines first, and the Gambia page lists what stays the same on every offer.
Every line here is made in our own factory at Başpınar OSB, Gaziantep — a 10,000 m² site, exporting since 2002 — and certificate copies are available on request.
Can a single hotel buy directly?
The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across lines. A hotel buys by the carton from the supplier that imports it; a hotel group that fills a container and holds the registration is quoted like an importer.
Can the turndown chocolate carry the hotel’s name?
Yes, on selected lines: wrapped mini bars and napolitains with your sleeve; the minimum per line is stated in the offer.
Does Turkish delight need a reefer?
No, plain lines travel dry and sit in a hotel shop without a chiller. Chocolate lines travel in the reefer, year round on this route.
