What a shop makes and what it buys
A Bahraini chocolate shop makes its pralines, moulds its shapes and dresses its trays, and what it buys in is the part that is cheaper to buy than to make: sugared almonds and chocolate dragées by colour, chocolate coated almonds and hazelnuts, bulk chocolate for its moulds, and lately the pistachio cream and kadayif filling for the bar everyone asks for. A coating pan is a factory tool and a shop is a workshop; the dragée comes from the pan. The dragée page lists what goes on the tray.
By colour, by the carton
Sugared almonds come one colour per carton or mixed, in the whites, ivories, golds and pastels the occasion trade asks for; chocolate dragées in milk, dark and white, and coated nuts in a matching range. The case weight per line is stated in the offer, so a shop knows how many trays a carton dresses before it orders, and the colours can be run to your own palette on selected lines under the private label page, with the cartons carrying your name.
The gift box
Chocolate gift box Bahrain: Eid and corporate gifting buy assortments in printed boxes, mini bars and the boxed Turkish delight that sits next to the dates on the table. In our standard packs they are on the chocolate page; under your own they are on the private label page. The Eid ordering article goes through the timing from Gaziantep, and weddings cluster in the cooler months, so a shop plans the whites and ivories for the year and the seasonal colours a container ahead.
Who buys the container
A large shop that dresses hundreds of occasions a year fills a container on its own and is quoted like an importer, with the commercial registration and the food-safety registration on its side; a smaller shop buys by the carton from the importer or the wholesaler that brings it in, or pools an order with others, each shop’s cartons on their own pallets. Because the container is mixed, dragées travel next to bulk chocolate, fillings and Turkish delight, so a shop adds the tray lines to an order it was making anyway.
Dry or reefer, and the price
Sugared almonds travel dry all year; chocolate dragées, coated nuts and the gift boxes go in the reefer, year round in the Gulf. The price per line in US dollars, the case count, the pallet plan and the tariff line are in the offer, with the duty that applies on the day; nothing that moves with the exchange rate or the season is printed on this site. What a shop sells the dressed tray for is its own craft; what the almonds cost by the carton is in the offer before it orders.
What to send first
The lines from the chocolate page, the dragée page and the Turkish delight page, the quantity per line, and whether any line carries your own brand. The written offer follows within two working days, in US dollars, with the certifying body named per line; the samples page explains how to taste the lines first, and the Bahrain page lists what stays the same on every offer.
Every line here is made in our own factory at Başpınar OSB, Gaziantep — a 10,000 m² site, exporting since 2002 — and certificate copies are available on request.
Can a chocolate shop order dragées in its own colours?
Yes, on selected lines: we run the colours you name and the cartons carry your brand. The minimum per colour is stated in the offer.
Do sugared almonds need a reefer?
No, they travel dry all year. Chocolate dragées, coated nuts and gift boxes travel in the reefer with the chocolate lines.
What is the minimum?
One full container, mixed across lines. A shop that does not fill one buys by the carton from the importer that does, or pools an order.
