Label

A Spanish label for the Chilean market: the ingredient list with allergens, the nutrition table, metric net content, storage, the best before date and the importer's details. Chile also puts warning seals on the front of the pack where a product passes the limits the health authority sets for sugars, saturated fat, sodium or energy, and confectionery sits squarely in that territory; which seals a line carries follows from its composition, so our technical data sheet comes first and the seals are applied against the rules in force on the day. Packs that carry seals are also restricted in how they may be promoted to children, which matters if a gift pack was going to lean on a character or a toy. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries and what the importer adds; for private label we prepare the label content from the data sheet and check your artwork before anything is printed.

Customs and duty

A free trade agreement between Türkiye and Chile is in force, so preferential treatment is available, but it is not automatic: it depends on the origin proof travelling with the shipment and on the goods matching the line your broker declares. The offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, and names the origin document that travels with the container. No rate, date or threshold is printed on this site, because those change and a page is the wrong place to learn them.

Entry and the importer's side

Imported food is presented to the health authority on the importer's side and released once the documentation is accepted at the port of entry; the importer or its customs agent holds that side of the file, together with any product notification the authority asks for. From us you receive the technical data sheet per product, our certificates and the analysis report per line, in the names and quantities that will appear on the invoice, so the file is consistent from the first page to the last.

Certificates

Certificates are held for our factory. We send our certificates — food safety and quality certification, halal and kosher — as scans tied to the exact line you are quoting, together with the analysis report for that line. Where a line is not certified, we say so rather than send a neighbouring factory's document.

What goes in the container

One container, mixed: chocolate tablets and bars, the pistachio and kadayıf bar that Chile searches for as chocolate de Dubai, dragées and sugared almonds, boxed Turkish delight and pistachio-filled lokum, jellies and wrapped sweets, and pistachio spread in jars. Each line travels on its own pallet, so receiving and counting stay clean at your warehouse, and a slow line can be cut from the next order without unpicking the rest.

Route and temperature

Sea freight from Mersin to San Antonio or Valparaíso, both serving Santiago and the central zone; the offer names the transshipment, the transit and the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP. The leg crosses the tropics whatever the season is in Chile, so chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer, while Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry — and both can share the same container. Christmas falls in the Chilean summer, so the gift weeks and the hottest weeks are the same weeks; that is worth counting backwards from when you fix the order date.

The words the shelf uses

Chile searches in its own words, and they are not always ours. Chocolate de Dubai is the pistachio and kadayıf bar, and it is made in Gaziantep, where the pistachio grows and the kadayıf is made. Crema de pistacho is what shoppers call the pistachio jar; on the label we call it a spread, because that is what it is. Turrón in Chile usually means turrón de vino or Spanish nougat, and that is not something we make — the nearest thing on our list is pistachio Turkish delight and the pistachio roll, which is a different sweet and should be sold as one.

Sourced on request

Couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo for the pastry and repostería trade, raw pistachios and other raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa and empty packaging sit outside the range we hold: sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting. The same applies to sugar-free Turkish delight, halva, and biscuits and wafers in bulk. Where a coating is vegetable fat rather than cocoa butter it is quoted as a compound coating, never as chocolate.
