Turkish chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight and confectionery for importers, wholesalers and resort suppliers in the Dominican Republic
One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, to Caucedo or Haina: chocolate and the pistachio-and-kadayıf bar for the supermarket, dragées and sugared almonds for the Christmas basket, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and pistachio spread for the hotel shop and the duty-free counter. Label content is prepared in Spanish for the Dominican shelf, and the written offer, in US dollars, follows within two working days of your list.

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.
We quote for Dominican food importers and distributors, for the wholesale sweet houses of Santo Domingo that sell by the carton to colmados, bakeries and party shops, for the distributors that serve the supermarket chains of Santiago and the Cibao, for the suppliers that stock the all-inclusive hotels of Punta Cana, Bávaro, Bayahíbe, Puerto Plata and Samaná and the duty-free counters at the airports, and for brands and hotel groups that want chocolate, dragées or Turkish delight made under their own name. If what you are looking for is wholesale sweets in Santo Domingo — venta de dulces al por mayor — the Dubai chocolate the whole island has been asking for, pistachio spread in jars that shoppers look for as crema de pistacho, Turkish delight for the gift shelf, or dragées and sugared almonds for the Christmas basket, that is what we price. The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across as many lines as you like.
Everything on this site is made in Gaziantep, in our own factory. That is what lets one container carry five product groups on separate pallets, lets us check a lot before it is packed, and lets us photograph the pallets before the doors close. The Dominican confectionery shelf is import-fed and it is a shelf that watches the price: the offer states per line whether the coating is chocolate or compound, so an importer can put one line in the supermarket and the hotel and another on the colmado shelf without the two being confused for each other.
We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.
- Food importers and distributors that supply the supermarket chains, cash-and-carry and the colmado trade in Santo Domingo, Santiago and the Cibao
- Wholesale sweet houses and cash-and-carry buyers in Santo Domingo — venta de dulces al por mayor — selling by the carton to colmados, bakeries and party shops
- Hotel, resort and duty-free suppliers stocking the all-inclusive hotels of Punta Cana, Bávaro, Bayahíbe, Puerto Plata and Samaná and the airport counters
- Brands, supermarket chains and hotel groups that want a chocolate, dragée or Turkish delight line made under their own name
Six lines, mixed to your list.
Each line travels on its own pallet; the container is mixed. Outside the core range we source on request and load it in the same shipment.

What stays the same on every offer.
Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.
- Label
- A Spanish label to the Dominican labelling standard: the name of the food, the ingredient list with allergens, metric net weight, storage conditions, the lot, the production and expiry dates and the name and address of the importer. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries; for private label we prepare the label content and check your artwork against it before anything is printed. A vegetable-fat coating is not named chocolate on the label, and the offer states chocolate or compound line by line.
- Entry and sanitary registration
- Processed food is registered with the health authority before it goes on sale, and that registration, like the import file, is held by the Dominican importer and not by us. Per line we supply the technical data sheet, the ingredient and allergen list, the analysis report and the export documents the clearance at Caucedo or Haina asks for.
- Customs
- There is no free trade agreement between Türkiye and the Dominican Republic, so the ordinary import duty applies rather than a preference; the offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, per line, so the landed cost is known before you order. Duty and the internal taxes are settled by the importer at clearance.
- Certificates
- Halal, food-safety and management-system certificates are held for our factory; copies are available on request. We do not put a mark on an offer that we cannot document.
- What goes in the container
- One full container is the unit of sale, 20 ft or 40 ft, mixed across lines, with each line on its own pallet so that five product groups travel together and arrive separated: chocolate tablets and bars, the pistachio and kadayıf bar, dragées and sugared almonds, Turkish delight plain and chocolate covered, wrapped confectionery and jellies, and pistachio spread in jars. Chocolate and chocolate-covered lines are quoted in a reefer — the crossing is tropical and the island is warm in every season — while Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry.
- Route, payment and currency
- Sea freight from Mersin to Caucedo, with Haina on request; the transshipment port, the delivery term — FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP — and the transit are stated in the offer. Offers are written in US dollars and follow within two working days of your list. Bank transfer only: 50% with the order, 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.
- Christmas, turrón and the gift basket
- Christmas is the confectionery season here and the word on the table is turrón, in the coconut and macadamia versions the island asks for by name. That is not what Gaziantep makes. What we load for the same occasion is boxed Turkish delight, the pistachio roll, chocolate-covered lokum, dragées and sugared almonds by colour, and gift boxes sized for the company basket. Nougat-type lines are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting. A container that has to be on the shelf for the season is ordered well ahead of it.
- Dubai chocolate, pistachio spread and the pastry counter
- The pistachio and kadayıf bar — chocolate de Dubái — is searched for here alongside the names of the supermarket chains, which says plainly which shelf it belongs on. It is made in Gaziantep as well, where the pistachio grows and the kadayıf is made, in retail bars and in gift formats, in our standard packs or under yours. Pistachio spread in jars travels with it; shoppers look for it as crema de pistacho or pasta de pistacho, and the pack is labelled as a spread. For the bakery and the pastry counter, couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo, cocoa and raw nuts are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting.
Private label chocolate, dragées and Turkish delight for Dominican brands
If you are a Dominican brand, a supermarket chain or a hotel group looking for a private label chocolate manufacturer, we put our own lines under your name: tablets and bars, the pistachio and kadayıf bar, dragées in doypacks, gift boxes, Turkish delight boxes and pistachio spread in jars. We prepare the Spanish label content for the Dominican shelf, you approve the artwork in writing before anything is printed, and the minimum per line, the lead time and whether the line is chocolate or compound are written into the offer.

Do you quote for importers and wholesalers in the Dominican Republic?
Yes: food importers and distributors, cash-and-carry and wholesale sweet houses, hotel, resort and duty-free suppliers, and brands that want their own name on the pack. Send the references, the quantities you have in mind and whether you clear at Caucedo or Haina, and the written offer follows within two working days, in US dollars.
What is the minimum order?
One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, mixed across as many lines as you choose. The minimum per line is written into the offer.
Who registers the products with the health authority?
The Dominican importer holds the sanitary registration and the import file. From our side we supply what the file needs — technical data sheets, ingredient and allergen lists, analysis reports and our certificates — in the offer.
Is it real chocolate or compound?
Both exist, for different shelves, and the offer says which line by line. The Dominican shelf watches the price, so a container often carries chocolate lines for the supermarket and the hotel next to compound-coated lines for the colmado trade; a vegetable-fat coating is never called chocolate.
Do you supply cobertura de chocolate for bakeries and pastry shops?
Couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo sit outside our core range. They are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting. The same applies to cocoa, raw nuts and dried fruit a pastry customer asks to add to the same container.
Do you have turrón for the Christmas season?
Turrón, including the coconut and macadamia versions, is not a Gaziantep product. What we load for that same table is boxed Turkish delight, chocolate-covered lokum, the pistachio roll, dragées and sugared almonds and gift boxes; nougat-type lines are sourced on request, and we confirm composition and format before quoting.
Will the chocolate survive the crossing and the climate?
Chocolate and chocolate-covered lines are quoted in a reefer year round on this route and the offer states it per line, while Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry. Each line stay on its own pallet, and we photograph the loaded pallets before the doors close.
Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?
Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
Send the list. We do the rest.
