Private label · Dominican Republic

Private label chocolate and confectionery from Türkiye, for Dominican brands, chains and hotel groups

Tablet and bar boxes, doypacks and pyramid boxes, sachets and flowpacks, 350 g lokum boxes and pistachio spread jars, made in Gaziantep under your own name and loaded for Caucedo or Haina. We prepare the Spanish label content from our technical data sheet, so the printed pack and the file the importer holds on the Dominican side say the same thing. Nothing is printed before you approve the final artwork in writing — not a wrapper, not a sleeve, not a box, not a jar label.

Private-label range on podiums: tablet carton, bars, doypack, praline box, spread jars, biscuit cup, cupcake box and popping-candy sachets
The other route

Made in Gaziantep, sold under your brand.

A Dominican brand, a supermarket chain, a distributor or a hotel group that goes looking for a private label chocolate manufacturer finds two answers close to home. One is a co-packer that can run a wrapped sweet, a biscuit or a bag of jellies, and buys its coating fat, its foil and its cartons abroad anyway. The other is the cacao side of the country: the Dominican Republic grows and exports cocoa, and an own-brand bar built on Dominican beans is a real proposition — it is simply a different one, and we do not pretend to be that route. What neither answer covers is the rest of the shelf: a pistachio tablet from where the pistachio grows, the pistachio and kadayıf bar the island keeps asking for as chocolate de Dubái, sugared almonds by colour for the wedding table, a boxed Turkish delight for December, pistachio spread in a jar for the shopper searching crema de pistacho. That is the side we are the route for: a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, Türkiye, putting our own lines under your name and loading the container for Caucedo, or Haina when it suits your warehouse better.

The difference is width in one shipment, and the origin standing behind it. One order can carry your name on a tablet, a Dubai style bar, dragées in the colours of a hotel's wedding table, a 350 g lokum box for the Christmas basket and a pistachio spread jar at the same time, from our own factory, on one set of documents — and no line has to fill a container by itself, because the box is panelled and your own-brand pallets travel alongside standard-pack pallets. Two things then set the timetable, and neither of them is the price. The sanitary registration on the Dominican side is held by the importer and granted on the product, so the Spanish wording on the wrapper and the wording in that file have to agree before anything goes to print. And chocolate on this route is quoted in a reefer in every season, because the crossing, the yard at Caucedo and the road up to Santiago are warm all year. What is left is the question every buyer ends on: who makes it, and at what minimum. We make it in our own factory in Gaziantep; the minimum is set per line and stated in the offer.

Your label goes on lines produced in our own factory in Gaziantep.

Formats

Five formats, one container.

Tablet and bar boxesMilk, dark, white and filled tablets, pistachio bars and the pistachio and kadayıf bar the shelf asks for as chocolate de Dubái, in your wrapper and your printed box. The offer says line by line whether the coating is chocolate or a vegetable-fat compound, because on this island that is what decides whether a line sits in the supermarket chain or on the colmado shelf. A compound coating is never called chocolate on the pack or on our paperwork.Doypacks and pyramid boxesDragées, sugared almonds and coated nuts in stand-up pouches, pyramid boxes and window boxes, in the colours you name. This is the format the destination-wedding trade of Punta Cana and Bávaro buys, and the one the December basket buys, rather than the loose carton.Sachets, flowpacks and cupsWrapped sweets, jellies, mini biscuits and wrapped mini bars in single-serve packs under your brand, with the case weight built for the colmado and the cash-and-carry carton, where the unit has to stay at a coin price. The same flowpack is what a hotel group puts on the pillow with its own sleeve on it.350 g lokum boxesTurkish delight plain, with pistachio, with hazelnut or double roasted, in a printed retail box under your name: the gift format for the hotel shop, the duty-free counter and the corporate Christmas basket. It answers the December gift table without pretending to be turrón, which is a different sweet and not a Gaziantep product.Jars (pistachio spread)Pistachio spread in glass jars with your label, for the shelf where the shopper is looking for crema de pistacho or pasta de pistacho. It is a spread and the label says so; the jar size, the case count and the pistachio content are confirmed per line before anything goes on an offer or into artwork.
How it works

Nothing printed before you approve.

  1. 01

    Line and minimum

You name the lines from the product pages and the pack format you want them in. We confirm which of them can be made under your brand, whether the line is chocolate or compound coated for the shelf you have in mind, and the lead time. The minimum is set per line and stated in the offer.

  2. 02

    Label content

We prepare the Spanish label content to the Dominican labelling standard for prepackaged food: the name of the food, the ingredient list with allergens declared, net content in metric units, the lot, storage conditions, the production and expiry dates, the country of origin and the name and address of the importer in the Dominican Republic. The data comes from our technical data sheet, and it is fixed at this stage because the pack and the importer's registration file have to match.

  3. 03

    Artwork approval

You place that content in your arte final. We check the layout back against our data sheet, line by line, and you approve the final version in writing. Before that written approval nothing is printed: no wrapper, no sleeve, no box, no label. A sample in your own wrapper is itself a print run, so it comes after the approval, never before it.

  4. 04

    Production and loading

We run the line, check the lot before packing, consolidate the pallets and photograph them. Your brand line is panelled into the same container as the rest of your order, each line on its own pallet, and the box leaves Mersin for Caucedo, or Haina on request, with the document set the clearance asks for. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer year round on this route.

The honest part

What to know before the first list.

Label
A Spanish label to the Dominican labelling standard: the name of the food, the ingredient list with allergens, metric net weight, storage conditions, the lot, the production and expiry dates and the name and address of the importer. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries; for private label we prepare the label content and check your artwork against it before anything is printed. A vegetable-fat coating is not named chocolate on the label, and the offer states chocolate or compound line by line.
Entry and sanitary registration
Processed food is registered with the health authority before it goes on sale, and that registration, like the import file, is held by the Dominican importer and not by us. Per line we supply the technical data sheet, the ingredient and allergen list, the analysis report and the export documents the clearance at Caucedo or Haina asks for.
Customs
There is no free trade agreement between Türkiye and the Dominican Republic, so the ordinary import duty applies rather than a preference; the offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, per line, so the landed cost is known before you order. Duty and the internal taxes are settled by the importer at clearance.
Certificates
Halal, food-safety and management-system certificates are held for our factory; copies are available on request. We do not put a mark on an offer that we cannot document.
Minimums
Set per line and stated in the offer. The unit of sale is one full container, panelled, so an own-brand line travels in the same box as other lines and a first order is not limited to one product. What your line has to reach is its own minimum, not the volume of a whole container.
Lead time
Stated per line in the offer and counted from the deposit and the written artwork approval, not from the first enquiry. Add the sea leg, the transshipment and the clearance on top of it. A Christmas basket and a hotel season that starts in December are planned backwards from the date you want the cartons in the warehouse.
Certificates
Held for our factory in Gaziantep: the food-safety certification the plant is audited to, halal or kosher on the lines that carry it, the technical data sheet and the analysis report. The holder is named per line and copies are available on request. We publish no certificate numbers on this site and put nothing on an offer that we do not hold.
Currency and payment
Offers in US dollars, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP; bank transfer, 50% with the order and 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs. There is no trade preference between Türkiye and the Dominican Republic, so the ordinary duty applies: the offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, per line, and duty and the internal taxes are settled by the importer at clearance. The shelf prices in pesos, the cost is built in dollars, and both are known before the artwork goes to print.
Sanitary registration and your name
Processed food is sold here against a registration held by the Dominican importer and granted on the product, so on an own-brand line the file is opened in your name and the label carries you as the responsible party. From our side we supply what the file asks for: the technical data sheet, the ingredient and allergen breakdown, the shelf-life statement, the analysis report per line and, where it is required, a free sale certificate.
The other route
A co-packer on the island is the obvious route, and for a wrapped sweet or a biscuit it is often the right one; a Dominican bean-to-bar brand is a route of its own and a good one. Compare us with either on two counts rather than on price alone: what the line can actually source in the month you need it, and how many different product groups one order can carry under one brand. Ours is production at origin — the pistachio, the kadayıf and the lokum are made where we load, not brought in to be made — and one panelled container.
The resort shelf and the colmado shelf
Two very different buyers order the same brand here. The all-inclusive hotels of Punta Cana, Bávaro, Bayahíbe, Puerto Plata and Samaná, the hotel shops, the cruise terminals and the airport duty-free counters take the wrapped mini bar with the hotel's sleeve, the printed gift box and dragées in the hotel's colours for the destination wedding. The colmado, the cash-and-carry carton and the party shop take the sachet, the jelly bag and the compound-coated bar in a case weight that keeps the unit at a coin. Say which shelf a line is for and the format, the weight and the case are chosen for it before the artwork is drawn.
Questions

Asked by brands first.

Are you the manufacturer?

Yes. Chocolate, dragées, pistachio and hazelnut creams, popping candy and Turkish delight are made in our own factory in Gaziantep, and we have exported since 2002. We run your private-label lines, check the lot before packing and load the container at our factory.

Can we launch our own brand without filling a container with a single product?

Yes. The unit of sale is one full container, panelled: your own-brand line travels with other lines from the same factory, each on its own pallet. What your line has to reach is its own minimum, which is set per line and stated in the offer, not the volume of a whole container.

Who writes the Spanish label, and when is it printed?

We prepare the content from our technical data sheet to the Dominican labelling standard for prepackaged food; you place it in your arte final and add your details as importer; we check that layout back against the data sheet; you approve it in writing. Nothing is printed before that written approval.

Who holds the sanitary registration for an own-brand line?

The Dominican importer holds it and it is granted on the product, so on your own brand the file is opened in your name and the label shows you as the responsible party. We supply our documents that file needs — data sheet, ingredient and allergen breakdown, shelf-life statement, analysis report and, where required, a free sale certificate.

Can a hotel group put its own name on the chocolate?

On selected lines, yes: wrapped mini bars with your sleeve for the room, printed gift boxes and lokum boxes for the hotel shop and the duty-free counter, and dragées in your colours for the wedding table. The minimum per line and the lead time are stated in the offer, and chocolate lines are quoted in a reefer for this route.

Can we have the Dubai style pistachio bar under our own brand?

On selected lines, yes: it is made in Gaziantep, where the pistachio grows and the kadayıf is made, in retail and gift formats, and it can travel with pistachio tablets and pistachio spread jars in the same container. We confirm the recipe, the pistachio content and the format under your name, and whether the coating is chocolate or a compound coating is written per line on the offer.

Can you make turrón, or run couverture in bulk with our name on it?

Turrón — including the coconut and macadamia kind the island asks for by name at Christmas — is not a Gaziantep product, and nougat-type lines are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting. The same applies to couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo, raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa and empty packaging, and in a country that exports cocoa, buying that from us would make little sense. What we run under your brand is the tablet, the bar, the dragée, the lokum box, the sachet and the pistachio spread jar.

Are you a private label chocolate manufacturer?

Yes. Your label is printed in our own factory in Gaziantep after you approve the artwork, and the minimum per line is stated in the offer. Prices are not published; they come in the written offer.
