Turkish chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight and confectionery for importers in Ecuador

One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, to Guayaquil: chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, sugar confectionery and pistachio products, with the Spanish label content prepared before anything is printed. Chocolate lines are quoted in a reefer on this route; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry. The written offer follows within two working days of your list, in US dollars, which is the currency Ecuador already prices in.

Cases of chocolate, dragées and Turkish delight consolidated for one container in Gaziantep
Who we quote for

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.

We quote for food importers and distributors in Ecuador, for the mayoristas in Quito and Guayaquil that sell dulces, caramelos and gomitas by the carton, for the buyers who supply supermarket chains and self-service stores, and for brands that want chocolate, dragées or Turkish delight made under their own name. The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across as many lines as you like, each line on its own pallet. Ecuador grows cacao and makes chocolate of its own, so we do not pretend the shelf is empty: what still comes in is what the country does not make — pistachio tablets from where the pistachio grows, the pistachio and kadayif bar the market searches for as chocolate de Dubai, boxed Turkish delight, sugared almonds for the gift and wedding trade, and jelly lines for the wholesale carton.

Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep. Our factory is in Gaziantep, and that is what lets one container carry five product groups instead of one, lets us check the lines before they are packed, and lets us photograph the pallets before the doors close. We state per line whether it is chocolate or a compound coating, and we quote grammage and pack options against the price you have to hit, because the imported confectionery shelf in Ecuador is price-led.

We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.

  • Food importers and distributors that supply supermarket chains, self-service stores and regional wholesalers from Guayaquil, Quito and Cuenca
  • Confectionery mayoristas that sell chocolate, caramelos, gomitas and wrapped sweets by the carton to shops, kiosks and the gift trade
  • Pastry and bakery suppliers that ask for cobertura and bulk chocolate by the kilo, which is sourced on request with composition and format confirmed before we quote
  • Brands and own-label buyers that want a line under their own name, with the Spanish label content prepared and nothing printed before you approve it

Ecuador notes

What stays the same on every offer.

Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.

Label
A Spanish label with the mandatory information for the Ecuadorian market: the ingredient list with the allergen declaration, the nutrition table with the traffic-light panel Ecuadorian packs carry for sugar, salt and fat, metric net quantity, storage, the lot, the best before date and the importer's details. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries and what the importer has to add; for private label we prepare the label content from our technical data sheet and check your artwork before anything goes to print. Label wording requirements are revised from time to time, so we work from what your regulatory side confirms is current on the day, and we print no rule text on this site.
Entry, sanitary notification and duty
The sanitary notification for a processed food and the customs clearance sit on the importer's side in Ecuador: the notification is held with the health authority, ARCSA, before the goods land, and your broker clears the consignment. From our side you receive the technical data sheet per product, our certificates, the analysis report per line, the certificate of origin and the shipping documents named in the offer. On duty there is one line only: the offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order. Nothing about duty or tax is printed on this site, because it changes.
Certificates and documents
Our certificates, with copies on request: the food safety and quality certification, halal where the line is certified, and the analysis report per line. We publish no certificate numbers here; you receive the documents themselves with the offer, per line, together with the technical data sheet and the pack specification, so your regulatory file for the notification is built from source documents rather than from a web page.
Port, route and temperature
Sea freight from Mersin to Guayaquil, with the deep-water terminal at Posorja, Puerto Bolívar at Machala or Manta as alternatives; the offer names the port, the transshipment, the transit and the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP. The leg is long and the coast is hot all year, so chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer: the temperature question is decided at the port and on the road, not at the destination, even when the goods finish in the cool of Quito. Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry, and dry lines can share the same reefer container, which is how a mixed load is normally planned.
What goes in the container
One full container, mixed across the lines you choose, each line on its own pallet: chocolate tablets, bars and coated lines; dragées and sugared almonds; Turkish delight, including the pistachio and the chocolate-covered types; sugar confectionery and jellies; and pistachio products, including the pistachio spread in jars. Where a line uses a vegetable-fat coating it is not called chocolate — the offer says line by line whether a line is chocolate or compound, and the price difference is visible in the same table. Mixing is the point for a first order: you test five groups on one bill of lading instead of committing to one.
A cocoa country, and what still comes in
Ecuador exports cacao and makes chocolate, so a plain tablet is not the argument here. The confectionery shelf is still import-fed on the lines the country does not produce: the pistachio and kadayif bar searched for as chocolate de Dubai — searched next to the name of the supermarket that stocks it and next to the word precio, which tells you the demand is at shelf level and price-led — pistachio tablets, boxed Turkish delight, sugared almonds for weddings and the gift trade, and gomitas by the carton. Pistachio spread in jars, which readers here look for as crema de pistacho, travels with them; we call it spread, because that is what it is. Turkish delight searches in Ecuador are still mostly cultural, the film and the recipe rather than the shelf, so lokum is the line that differentiates a range rather than the line that fills the container.
Dollars, price and payment
Ecuador uses the US dollar and offers are written in US dollars, so there is no conversion between the price you are quoted and the price you pay, and the comparison against your current supplier is direct. Because the shelf is price-led, we quote formats and grammages against the price point you name instead of one format per line. Bank transfer only: 50% with the order, 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs. The written offer follows within two working days of your list.
Sourced on request
Outside the core range we buy in what your list needs and load it in the same container: couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo, which is what most of the bulk-chocolate and cobertura searching in Ecuador is about and which the pastelería trade buys by weight, and raw nuts, dried fruit and cocoa. These are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, and a coating made with vegetable fat is quoted as compound, never as chocolate.

Private label chocolate and confectionery for Ecuadorian brands

Looking for a private label chocolate manufacturer for an Ecuadorian brand, a pistachio tablet under your own name, or a gomita or dragée line for the mayorista carton? We put our own lines under your name: tablets, bars, dragées in doypacks, gift boxes, Turkish delight boxes and pistachio spread jars, with the Spanish label content prepared from our technical data sheet, the traffic-light panel worked into the artwork, and nothing printed before you approve it. The minimum per line and whether a line is chocolate or compound are stated in the offer.

Questions

Asked before the first list.

Who do you quote for in Ecuador?

Food importers, distributors, confectionery mayoristas, supermarket suppliers and private-label brands. The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across as many lines as you like; send the references, the quantities you have in mind and the port, and the written offer follows within two working days.

Which port do you ship to?

Guayaquil, including the deep-water terminal at Posorja, or Puerto Bolívar at Machala or Manta if that suits your distribution better. The offer names the port, the transshipment and the transit, together with the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP.

Who holds the sanitary notification?

The importer, with the health authority, ARCSA, before the goods land; the customs clearance is on your broker's side as well. From us you receive the technical data sheet per product, our certificates and the analysis report per line, so the file is built from source documents.

Does the label have to carry the traffic-light panel?

The Spanish label for the Ecuadorian market carries the mandatory information together with the traffic-light panel for sugar, salt and fat. For private label we prepare the content from our technical data sheet and check your artwork before anything is printed; we work from what your regulatory side confirms is current on the day.

Can you quote couverture or bulk chocolate for a pastry customer?

Couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, and the offer states per line whether a line is chocolate or a compound made with vegetable fat.

Is the container a reefer?

For chocolate and chocolate-coated lines, yes on this route, because the crossing is long and the coast is hot all year. Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry, and both can go in the same container.

What currency and what payment terms?

Offers are in US dollars, the currency Ecuador prices in, so there is no conversion between the quote and the payment. Bank transfer only: 50% with the order and 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.

Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?

Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
