Turkish chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight and confectionery for importers and distributors in El Salvador
One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, to El Salvador: chocolate for the supermarket and the club shelf, dragées and sugared almonds, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and pistachio spread for the gift and impulse counter. The label content is prepared in Spanish for the Central American rules, and each line is stated as chocolate or as compound coating. The written offer follows within two working days of your list, in US dollars — the currency you already price in.

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.
We quote for Salvadoran food importers and distributors, for the mayoristas that supply the supermarket chains, the club store, the tiendas de barrio and the stalls of the wholesale market in San Salvador by the carton, for the pastry, bakery, hotel and foodservice suppliers buying for the pastelería counter, and for brands and retail groups that want chocolate, dragées or Turkish delight made under their own name. If you search distribuidor de chocolate, distribuidor de dulces al por mayor or chocolate al por mayor and want a Turkish line on the shelf — the chocolate de dubai people now ask for by name, crema de pistacho in jars, delicias turcas for the gift shelf, sugared almonds for the wedding and baptism table — this is what we quote for. The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across as many lines as you like, so a first order does not mean twenty tonnes of one item.
The confectionery on the Salvadoran shelf is largely import-fed, and it lands in front of a buyer who watches the price closely; that is the first thing an offer has to respect. Ours states chocolate or compound coating line by line, gives the case weight, the pack count and the format, and lets you build one load from the cheap runner and the gift box together. Everything on this site is made in Gaziantep, in our own factory. That is what lets a single container carry five product groups, each on its own pallet, and lets us check a lot before it is packed and photograph the pallets before the doors close.
We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.
- Food importers and distributors that put Turkish lines into the supermarket chains, the club store and the wholesale trade of San Salvador, Santa Ana and San Miguel
- Mayoristas and cash-and-carry wholesalers that sell by the carton to the tiendas de barrio, the market stalls and the kiosks
- Pastry, bakery, hotel and foodservice suppliers buying for the pastelería counter, the hotel breakfast table and the dessert trade
- Brands and retail groups that want a chocolate, dragée or Turkish delight line under their own name, labelled in Spanish for the local shelf
Six lines, mixed to your list.
Each line travels on its own pallet; the container is mixed. Outside the core range we source on request and load it in the same shipment.

What stays the same on every offer.
Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.
- Label
- A Spanish label prepared to the Central American technical regulation for prepackaged food that El Salvador applies: the name of the product, the ingredient list with the allergens declared, net content in metric units, the lot, the production and expiry dates, storage instructions and the name and address of the importer. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries; for private label we prepare the label content and check your artwork against it before anything is printed.
- Entry, registration and certificates
- The importer holds the sanitary registration for the product with the health authority and files the import declaration with Salvadoran customs. From our side we supply what that file needs: the technical data sheet, the analysis report per line and our certificates, together with the papers that travel with the shipment. The registration is filed against our factory.
- Customs
- El Salvador applies the Central American common external tariff, and there is no free trade agreement between Türkiye and El Salvador. The offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order; import VAT is settled by the importer at clearance.
- Route and temperature
- Sea freight from Mersin, with the transshipment port, the delivery term — FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP — and the transit time stated in the offer. Acajutla is the usual Pacific discharge for El Salvador; where an importer prefers to clear at a regional Atlantic port and bring the container in by road, the offer is written for that routing instead. The country is warm in every season and the climb from the coast is hot, so chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer year round, while Turkish delight, sugared almonds, jellies and wrapped confectionery travel dry.
- What goes in the container
- One full container, mixed, each line on its own pallet: tablets, bars and boxed chocolate; dragées and sugared almonds; Turkish delight, including the pistachio roll and chocolate-covered lokum; wrapped confectionery and jellies; and pistachio spread in jars, the crema de pistacho the shelf asks for. Every line is written as chocolate or as compound coating, because a vegetable-fat coating cannot be called chocolate on the offer or on the label. Items outside this range — turrón for the Christmas shelf, bulk nuts, dried fruit, halva, biscuits and wafers — are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting.
- Dubai chocolate and the pistachio shelf
- The pistachio and kadayif bar searched here as chocolate de dubai is made in Gaziantep too, where the pistachio grows and the kadayif is made, in retail and gift formats in our standard packs or under yours. Pistachio spread in jars — crema de pistacho, or crema de pistache as part of the shelf writes it — travels dry in the same container and works on the retail shelf and behind a dessert counter alike. Pistachio paste for a pastry kitchen is a different product: it is sourced on request, and we confirm composition and format before quoting.
- Couverture and the pastry counter
- Cobertura de chocolate is a steady search in El Salvador and it is not part of our own range. Couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, including whether the line is chocolate or a compound coating, because for a pastelería that difference decides how it tempers and how it sets. What we do load for that trade, in the same container, is finished product: dragées, coated nuts, pistachio spread in jars and boxed lines for the counter.
- The dollar, the price and payment
- El Salvador uses the US dollar, so an offer in dollars needs no conversion and no exchange cover: the landed cost you calculate is the cost you pay. Because the shelf is price-led, the offer gives the case weight, the pack count and the format per line and lets you mix a low-price runner with a gift box in one load. Payment is 50% with the order and 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs, and the written offer follows within two working days of your list.
Private label chocolate, dragées and Turkish delight for Salvadoran brands
Looking for a private label chocolate manufacturer for a Salvadoran brand, a supermarket group's own line, or an own-brand dragée range for the gift and party table? We put our own lines under your name: tablets, mini bars, dragées in doypacks, gift boxes, Turkish delight boxes and pistachio spread jars, with the Spanish label content prepared for the Central American rules and nothing printed before you approve the artwork.

Do you work with importers and distributors in El Salvador?
We quote for food importers, distributors, mayoristas, pastry and hotel suppliers and private-label brands in El Salvador. Send the references you want, the quantities you have in mind and the port; the written offer follows within two working days, in US dollars.
What is the minimum order?
One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, mixed across the lines you choose, each line on its own pallet. The minimum per line is written into the offer.
Is it real chocolate or compound?
Both exist, for different shelves. The offer states line by line whether the product is chocolate or a compound coating made with vegetable fat, so a compound line is never presented to you — or by you — as chocolate.
Can you supply cobertura de chocolate or pistachio paste for our pastry line?
Couverture, bulk chocolate by the kilo and pistachio paste for a pastry kitchen are outside our own range: they are sourced on request, and we confirm composition and format before quoting. When they are confirmed, they travel in the same container as the finished lines.
Is the container a reefer?
For chocolate and chocolate-coated lines, yes, year round on this route — El Salvador is warm in every season and the road up from the coast is hot. Turkish delight, sugared almonds, jellies and wrapped confectionery are quoted dry, and the offer says which lines travel how.
Who registers the product and who prepares the label?
The importer holds the sanitary registration with the health authority. We supply our technical data sheet, the analysis report and our certificates, and we prepare the Spanish label content for the Central American rules. Nothing is printed before you approve the artwork.
Can you make a line under our own brand?
Yes, as one of our core services: tablets, mini bars, dragées in doypacks, gift boxes and Turkish delight boxes under your name, with Spanish label content prepared for the local shelf. The minimum per line is stated in the offer.
Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?
Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
