Turkish chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight and confectionery for importers in Guyana
One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, to Georgetown: chocolate for the supermarket and the gift shelf, dragées for weddings and the festival calendar, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and pistachio lines. Roughly a third of what reaches this shelf arrives by way of a regional hub; a load that starts at our factory removes that step. Written offer in US dollars within two working days of your list.

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.
We quote for food importers and distributors in Guyana, for the wholesalers and cash-and-carry houses that supply supermarkets, groceries and the hinterland trade by the carton, and for brands that want chocolate, dragées or Turkish delight made under their own name. If you are looking for chocolate wholesale Guyana can price by the carton, chocolate suppliers or chocolate importers in Guyana that carry Turkish lines, sweets wholesale Georgetown, the Dubai chocolate Guyana has been searching for, Turkish delight for the gift shelf, or wedding and festival dragées by the carton, this is what we quote for. The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across as many lines as you like.
The thing worth knowing before you ask for a price is where the shelf comes from today. Guyana brought in 13,301,150 US dollars of chocolate and 8,379,187 US dollars of sugar confectionery in 2025 — the largest of the three markets in this region we quote for — and the biggest single origin on that record is Trinidad and Tobago, at 31.3 per cent. Trinidad is not making chocolate at that scale; what the number describes is a regional distribution hub, which means a good part of this shelf is reached through an extra pair of hands. A hub is a real service, with consolidation, credit and small drops in it. It also carries a margin, and it puts one remove between the buyer and the producer: the format, the minimum and the name on the label are decided somewhere else.
Everything on this site is made in Gaziantep, in our own factory, about three hours inland from the port of Mersin. That is what lets one container carry five product groups, lets us check a lot before it is packed and photograph the pallets before the doors close, and lets the written offer state the format and the minimum for every line — which is the part a regional hub cannot hand you.
We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.
- Food importers and distributors supplying the supermarkets, groceries and regional wholesalers of Georgetown, the coast and the hinterland trade
- Confectionery wholesalers and cash-and-carry houses selling chocolate, wrapped sweets and dragées by the carton to shops and the festival trade
- Buyers who currently source through a regional distributor and want a direct container priced beside it, line by line, before deciding anything
- Gift, wedding and festival traders and brands buying sugared almonds, chocolate dragées and boxed assortments by the carton, or wanting a line made under their own name
Six lines, mixed to your list.
Each line travels on its own pallet; the container is mixed. Outside the core range we source on request and load it in the same shipment.

What stays the same on every offer.
Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.
- The extra hand in the chain
- Trinidad and Tobago is the largest single origin on the chocolate and confectionery import record here, at 31.3 per cent, and Trinidad is not a producer at that scale — the goods are passing through a regional hub on the way in. That is worth pricing against rather than arguing with. A container loaded at our factory answers the four questions a hub answers for you: who actually makes each line, what format it can be run in, what the minimum per line is, and whose name goes on the label. All four are written into the offer before you commit to anything.
- Where a search sends a buyer today
- Search the wholesale terms for this market in English and not one Guyanese domain comes back. 'Confectionery distributor' returns wholesalers in the United States, 'wholesale sweets' returns wholesalers in the United Kingdom, and only 'turkish delight wholesale' reaches exporters in Türkiye and the importers who specialise in them. The one product this market asks for by name is Dubai chocolate, around 260 searches a month; every business-to-business phrase measures below the threshold, which tells you the trade here is done by mail and not by search. So this page is not written to be found. It is written so an offer can be prepared: who makes it, in what format, what the minimum is, how the load arrives, and what the label will say.
- Registration and entry
- Imported food is registered by the importer with the national food and drug authority before it is brought in, and the importer holds the permit where a line needs one. We supply what the file needs — the technical data sheet, our certificates and the analysis report, per line. Registration runs before the deposit and is not counted in the lead time.
- Label
- An English label to the national requirements: the name of the food, the ingredient list with allergens, the net weight in metric units, storage conditions, the production and expiry dates, and the name and address of the importer. One distinction is kept strict on it. Chocolate is chocolate; a vegetable-fat coating is a compound or a glaze and is written as one, line by line, so nothing on the declaration has to be argued after the container has landed. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries; for private label we prepare the label content and check your artwork against it before anything is printed.
- Customs
- Guyana is a CARICOM member and applies the regional tariff framework together with its national rules. There is no free trade agreement between Guyana and Türkiye, and the A.TR movement certificate does not apply here — it is an EU instrument and this is outside the EU. The offer states the tariff line for each product and what applies on the day it is written, so the landed cost is known before you order rather than after.
- Route and heat
- Sea freight from Mersin to Georgetown, with the transshipment port, the delivery term — FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP — and the transit stated in the offer. Guyana sits on the mainland but the route crosses the tropics and the country is warm in every season, so chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer year round and compound lines are named as compound; Turkish delight, sugared almonds, hard sweets and jellies travel dry.
- Dubai chocolate, from where the pistachio grows
- The pistachio and kadayif bar is the one product this market searches for by name, around 260 times a month. It is made in Gaziantep too, where the pistachio grows and the kadayif is made, in retail and gift formats, in our standard packs or yours, for the supermarket chiller and the gift shelf. Pistachio spread in jars — often searched as pistachio cream — travels in the same load. Case weight, format and minimum per line are stated in the offer.
- Turkish delight and the gift shelf
- Boxed Turkish delight from Gaziantep, the pistachio roll and chocolate-covered lokum for the gift shelf and the festival table; the Turkish delight page lists the groups. Plain lokum, sugared almonds and hard sweets travel dry, which matters in a climate that is hard on chocolate and lets a first container carry a gift range without a reefer line on every pallet. Most lines are available in our standard packs, so an importer can open with established Turkish names and add an own-brand line afterwards.
- Currency and payment
- Offers in US dollars. Bank transfer only: 50% with the order, 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.
- Sourced on request
- Outside the core range, items on your list are sourced on request and loaded in the same container: couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo, raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa, empty packaging, baklava, halva and tahini. We do not make these. We confirm the composition and the format before quoting, and the offer names who makes each one.
Private label chocolate and confectionery for Guyanese brands
Looking for a private label chocolate manufacturer for a Guyanese brand, an own-brand dragée line for the wedding and festival trade, or a gift box that carries your name instead of somebody else's? We put our own lines under your brand: tablets, bars, dragées in doypacks, gift boxes, Turkish delight boxes and pistachio spread jars, with the English label content prepared, the registration documents supplied, and nothing printed before you approve it.

Do you work with importers in Guyana?
We are open to food importers, distributors, wholesalers, festival and gift traders and private-label brands in Guyana. Send the product references, the quantities you have in mind and the port; the written offer follows within two working days.
Why buy direct when a regional distributor already supplies us?
Because a direct offer lets you see what the regional price is made of. Trinidad and Tobago is the largest single origin on this market's chocolate and confectionery import record at 31.3 per cent, and it is a hub rather than a producer, so the format, the minimum and the name on the label are being decided one step away from you. We quote the container from our factory with all three written down, and you compare it with what you pay now.
Who registers the products?
The importer registers each imported food product with the national food and drug authority. We supply the technical data sheet, our certificates and the analysis report per line; these are named in the offer and sent before the deposit, and registration is not counted in the lead time.
Is the container a reefer?
For chocolate and chocolate-coated lines, yes, year round on this route. Compound and glazed lines are named as such and quoted accordingly, and Turkish delight, sugared almonds, hard sweets and jellies travel dry.
What is the minimum order?
One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, mixed across the lines you choose. The minimum per line is written into the offer.
Can you make lines under our own brand for Guyana?
Yes — private label is one of our core services. We prepare the English label content, you approve the artwork in writing before anything is printed, and the minimum per line is stated in the offer.
Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?
Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
