Cases of chocolate, dragées and Turkish delight consolidated for one container in Gaziantep
Who we quote for

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.

We quote for Honduran food importers and distributors, for the wholesalers and cash-and-carry operators that break a pallet into cartons for pulperías, minimarkets and supermarket chains from San Pedro Sula to Tegucigalpa, for bakery, hotel and cruise-port suppliers, and for retail chains and brands that want chocolate, dragées or Turkish delight made under their own name. The sweet aisle in Honduras is import-fed: the confectionery on the shelf largely arrives in a container rather than leaving a local factory, and it arrives at the low-to-middle end of the price scale, which decides format before it decides flavour. In Spanish the searches that lead here are distribuidor de dulces al por mayor, chocolate de Dubái, crema or pasta de pistacho, cobertura de chocolate and delicias turcas — and the last of those is recognised in Honduras more from a film and a recipe page than from the shelf, so lokum sells as a gift box first and a habit later. San Pedro Sula also has an old Levantine merchant community, so Middle Eastern sweets are not unfamiliar to the wholesale trade there.

Everything on this site is made in Gaziantep, in our own factory. That is what lets one container carry five product families on separate pallets, and lets us check a lot before it is packed and photograph the pallets before the doors close. The offer is written in US dollars within two working days, the delivery term is FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, and payment is by bank transfer: 50% with the order and 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.

We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.

  • Food importers and distributors in San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa that clear their own containers through Puerto Cortés and hold the sanitary registration in their own name
  • Wholesalers and cash-and-carry operators that sell by the carton to pulperías, minimarkets and supermarket chains
  • Bakery, pastry, hotel and cruise-port suppliers — the channel behind the cobertura de chocolate and pistachio spread searches; finished retail lines we quote, couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo are sourced on request
  • Retail chains and brands that want tablets, mini bars, dragées or Turkish delight boxes made under their own name

Honduras notes

What stays the same on every offer.

Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.

Label
A Spanish label written to the Central American technical regulation for the labelling of pre-packaged food, which applies in Honduras as it does across the region: the name of the food, the ingredient list with allergens, net weight in metric units, lot, storage conditions, the dates we print on the pack, and the name and address of the importer. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries; for private label we prepare the label content and check your artwork against it before anything is printed.
Sanitary registration and entry
Registration of an imported food in Honduras sits with the importer, in the importer's own name with the health regulator — it is not something an exporter holds on your behalf. Per line, we supply the technical data sheet, our certificates, the analysis report and the free-sale and health documents the file asks for so the paperwork can be opened before the container is booked.
Customs
Honduras applies the Central American common external tariff, and there is no free trade agreement in force between Türkiye and Honduras. The offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, line by line, so the landed cost is known before you order.
Certificates
Halal, Kosher, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and HACCP, held for our factory and named in the offer. A line that does not hold a certificate is quoted without one; we do not attach a document to a product that does not have it.
What goes in the container
One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, panachage across as many lines as you like, each line on its own pallet with its own case count: chocolate tablets, mini bars and the pistachio-and-kadayıf bar; dragées, sugared almonds and coated nuts; Turkish delight plain, with pistachio and chocolate covered; wrapped confectionery and jellies; pistachio products including the spread in jars. Outside that range — chocolate couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo, raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa and empty packaging — items are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting.
Route
Sea freight from Mersin to Puerto Cortés, with the transshipment port, the delivery term — FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP — and the transit stated in the offer. Puerto Cortés is the entry for the San Pedro Sula trade and the road south to Tegucigalpa and the Pacific side. The country is warm and humid in every season, so chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer year round, while Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry.
The pulpería shelf and the price question
Most confectionery in Honduras still reaches the buyer through the pulpería and the wholesale shop, in cartons and single-serve counts rather than in boxes, and the imported sweet aisle sits at the low-to-middle end of the price scale. That shapes the list: small formats, mini bars, wrapped sweets and jellies that hold their shape without a chiller, with the boxed and gift lines kept for the supermarket and the gift shelf. Compound-coated lines exist for the shelf without cold chain and chocolate lines for the chiller; the offer states which a line is, and a vegetable-fat coating is never called chocolate.
December, turrón and the gift shelf
The Spanish-language search around sweets in Honduras peaks on turrón at Christmas — the Spanish and local nougat tradition, which is not something we make. What travels beside it is the nut-and-sugar side we do carry: sugared almonds by colour, pistachio Turkish delight, chocolate-covered lokum and gift boxes for the December basket, the Roatán cruise and airport gift counters and the wedding table. Alongside them, the bar searched as chocolate de Dubái is made in Gaziantep, where the pistachio grows and the kadayıf is made, and the jar searched as crema de pistacho is a pistachio spread, quoted in retail jars.

Private label chocolate and confectionery for Honduran brands

Looking for a private label chocolate manufacturer for a Honduran brand, a supermarket's own-label bar for the pulpería trade, or an own-brand dragée and Turkish delight range for the December shelf? We put our own lines under your name: tablets, mini bars, dragées in doypacks, gift boxes, lokum boxes and pistachio spread in jars, with the Spanish label content prepared to the Central American standard and nothing printed before you approve the artwork.

Questions

Asked before the first list.

Do you work with importers in Honduras?

We quote for food importers, distributors, wholesalers, bakery and hotel suppliers, retail chains and private-label brands in Honduras. Send the product references, the quantities you have in mind and the port; the written offer follows within two working days.

What is the minimum order?

One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, mixed across the lines you choose, each line on its own pallet. The minimum per line is written into the offer.

How is the offer written and how is payment handled?

In US dollars, within two working days, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, with the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day stated per line. Payment is by bank transfer: 50% with the order, 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.

Is it real chocolate or compound?

Both exist, for different shelves. The offer states per line whether it is chocolate or a compound coating, so the chiller and the supermarket get one kind of line and the pulpería shelf without cold chain gets the other. A vegetable-fat coated line is never described as chocolate.

Can you supply chocolate couverture by the kilo for a bakery?

Couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo, like raw nuts, dried fruit and cocoa, are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, and they load in the same container as the finished lines.

Who holds the sanitary registration for the products?

The importer does, in its own name with the Honduran health regulator. We supply what the file needs from our side — technical data sheets, our certificates, analysis reports and the free-sale and health documents — per line.

Can you make a Honduran brand's own line?

Yes, as one of our core services: tablets, mini bars, dragées, gift boxes and Turkish delight boxes under your name. We prepare the Spanish label content, you approve the artwork in writing, and the minimum per line is stated in the offer.

Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?

Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
