- Label
- An English or Chinese label, or both, with the ingredient list and allergens, the nutrition label in the Hong Kong format, metric net quantity and the importer’s name and address. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries and what the importer adds; for private label we prepare the label content from our technical data sheet, in English with Chinese alongside where you ask for it, and check your artwork before anything is printed.
- Importer registration
- Food importers in Hong Kong register with the food safety authority and keep the records the food safety rules ask for; the offer states what applies on the day and which documents we supply. From our side you receive the technical data sheet per product, our certificates and lot traceability.
- Onward to the mainland
- For onward sale to the mainland the overseas producer must be registered with the mainland customs authority, and the label and the importer’s file follow mainland rules. The offer states per line whether we hold that registration, so a Hong Kong trader plans the second leg with the first rather than after it.
- Customs
- There is no free trade agreement between Hong Kong and Türkiye. The offer states the tariff line for each product and what applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order.
