- Label
- The mandatory information in Arabic, on the pack or on a sticker; Kurdish is added where the distributor wants it. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries and what the importer adds. For private label we prepare the label content in Arabic and English from our technical data sheet and check your artwork before anything is printed.
- Conformity certificate
- Food consignments into Iraq carry a certificate of conformity under the Iraqi standards authority’s pre-shipment programme. Its details change; the offer states what applies on the day and which documents we supply for it.
- Customs
- There is no free trade agreement between Iraq and Türkiye. The offer states the tariff line for each product and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order.
- Turkish chocolate brands and agency
- Iraq is one of the largest markets for Turkish chocolate and confectionery, and Türkiye is by far its largest supplier; most of it sells under Turkish brands. - Road freight by truck from Gaziantep through the Habur–Ibrahim Khalil crossing to Zakho, Erbil, Mosul and Baghdad; sea freight from Mersin to Umm Qasr for Basra and the south. Gaziantep is the Turkish city nearest the Iraqi border, so the truck leaves from next to the plant. Chocolate and chocolate-coated products travel at +18/+20 °C; for the warm months we quote a reefer truck.
- Halal
- Our Halal certificates are issued for our factory and named per line in the offer; copies are available on request.
- Ramadan and Eid
- Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha ranges, gift boxes and mini-bar assortments are quoted ahead of the season; the lead time per line is in the offer.
