Turkish chocolate, Dubai-style bars, lokum and pistachio for importers and wholesalers in Italy
One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, into Italy: pistachio and kadayıf bars, lokum, chocolate dragées, confectionery and pistachio spread. Italy and Türkiye trade inside the EU–Türkiye customs union, so processed confectionery moves on an A.TR movement certificate and the label content is prepared to Regulation (EU) 1169/2011. Written offer in US dollars or euros within two working days of your list.

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.
Italy makes confectionery and makes it well. The confetti of Sulmona, the chocolate industry of the north and the pistachio of Bronte are not lines anyone should try to displace, and nothing here is offered as a substitute for them. What comes out of Gaziantep is the end the Italian shelf does not cover from home: the Dubai-style bar built on pistachio and kadayıf, lokum in its own formats, chocolate dragées in bulk for repacking, and pistachio spread by the jar. The bar Italy searched for as cioccolato di Dubai is made where the pistachio grows and the kadayıf is made.
Two habits are worth knowing before you write a list. Confetti in Italy means the sugared almond of the bomboniera trade, a heritage category with its own producers; when we quote dragées for Italy we mean the chocolate-coated and bulk lines for repacking and the candy-bar table, and we say so on the offer. And pasta di pistacchio in the Italian pastry trade points at Bronte; our pistachio is Gaziantep, named as such per line on the technical data sheet, and it sits next to the Sicilian product rather than in place of it.
We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.
- Food importers and distributors that clear their own entries and supply retail, ho.re.ca. and specialist shops across Italy
- Confectionery and dolciumi wholesalers — the ingrosso di dolciumi trade — buying chocolate, dragées and wrapped sweets by the carton for shops, kiosks and market stalls
- Pastry and gelato suppliers looking for pistachio paste and spread, kadayıf and coated nuts by the kilo alongside their Sicilian lines
- Italian brands and retail chains wanting chocolate, dragées or lokum made under their own name for the Italian shelf
Six lines, mixed to your list.
Each line travels on its own pallet; the container is mixed. Outside the core range we source on request and load it in the same shipment.

What stays the same on every offer.
Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.
- Entry and the trade agreement
- Italy is in the EU and Türkiye is in the EU–Türkiye customs union, so processed confectionery under chapters 17 and 18 moves on an A.TR movement certificate rather than a free-trade origin proof. The offer states the tariff line and what applies on the day; rates are not published on this site because they change.
- Label
- An Italian label to Regulation (EU) 1169/2011: the ingredient list with allergens indicated, the nutrition declaration per 100 g, metric net quantity, the best-before date, and the name and address of the business placing the product on the market in the EU. Where a line is a compound coating rather than chocolate, EU rules do not allow it to be called chocolate; the offer says so per line and the name on the pack is checked before anything is printed.
- Naming
- On the Italian shelf lokum is asked for as lokum or delizia turca; the pistachio jar is asked for as crema di pistacchio and the industrial paste as pasta di pistacchio, and the offer distinguishes the two. Dubai-style bars are asked for as cioccolato di Dubai.
- Route
- Sea freight from Mersin to Genoa, La Spezia, Livorno or Trieste, or a road trailer from Gaziantep across Europe. The port of arrival and the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, are stated in the offer together with the transit.
- Heat
- Chocolate and chocolate-coated products travel at +18/+20 °C. For a mixed container in the warm months we quote a reefer; if you prefer a dry container, the temperature risk goes to you in writing before loading. Lokum, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry all year.
- Certificates
- Held for our factory in Gaziantep: food-safety (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP), Halal and Kosher certificates. The holder is named per line and copies are available on request; a line without a certificate is stated as such rather than covered by a general claim.
- Currency
- US dollars or euros, stated on the quotation, valid thirty days from its date unless it states otherwise.
- On request
- Couverture, bulk chocolate by the kilo, bulk pistachio filling, raw pistachios, baklava and halva are outside the core range. They are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, and load them in the same container.
Private label chocolate and confectionery for Italian brands
Looking for a produttore conto terzi for a bar your own brand can sell, or an own-brand range for the Italian shelf? Italian co-packers come first for a classic Italian tablet, and for that they are the right answer. We are the other route: the pistachio and kadayıf end, made in Gaziantep under your name, with the label content prepared to EU rules in Italian.

Do you work with importers and wholesalers in Italy?
We quote for food importers and distributors, dolciumi and confectionery wholesalers buying by the carton, pastry and gelato suppliers, and Italian brands that want their own label. Send the product references, the quantities you have in mind and the port of arrival; the written offer follows within two working days.
Does the A.TR certificate cover a shipment to Italy?
Yes. Italy is in the EU and processed confectionery under chapters 17 and 18 moves inside the EU–Türkiye customs union on an A.TR movement certificate. The offer states which document travels with your container, together with the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day.
Who prepares the Italian label?
We prepare the content from our technical data sheet to Regulation (EU) 1169/2011: ingredients with allergens indicated, the nutrition declaration per 100 g, metric net quantity, the best-before date, and the name and address of the business placing the product on the market. You place it in your artwork and approve the final version in writing.
Can you supply confetti for the bomboniera trade?
We make sugared almonds and chocolate dragées in bulk cartons and in doypacks, single colour or mixed, with the minimum counted per colour. Italy has its own confetti industry with a long history, and we do not present ourselves as a replacement for it; what we quote is the bulk and repacking end, and coloured chocolate dragées for the candy-bar table.
Is your pistachio the same as Bronte?
No, and the offer never says otherwise. Ours is Gaziantep pistachio, named as such per line on the technical data sheet, in spreads, pastes and coated lines. It sits alongside the Sicilian product rather than in place of it; buyers who want a PDO Bronte declaration should buy that separately.
Do you supply couverture or bulk chocolate by the kilo?
They are outside the core range. We buy them in on request and load them in the same container; we confirm composition and format before quoting.
What is the minimum order?
One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, or one full trailer, mixed across as many lines as you like. We do not ship part loads. The minimum per line is stated in the offer.
Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?
Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
Send the list. We do the rest.
