Cases of chocolate, dragées and Turkish delight consolidated for one container in Gaziantep
Who we quote for

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.

We quote for food importers and distributors in Nicaragua, for the wholesalers that supply the supermarkets of Managua and the pulperías of León, Chinandega, Estelí and Matagalpa by the carton, for the party and gift trade that has to fill a mesa de dulces, and for brands that want chocolate, dragées or Turkish delight made under their own name. Nicaragua grows cacao and there are artisan makers around Granada and Matagalpa, but the wrapped shelf — tablets, mini bars, dragées, wrapped sweets, gift boxes — is import-fed and priced tightly, which is why the offer is written line by line with the case weight and the pieces per carton on it. The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across as many lines as you like.

Buyers here do not go looking for a supplier in a search box; what gets typed is the product — chocolate de Dubái, delicias turcas, crema de pistacho, cobertura de chocolate for the bakery, turrón in December. So this page is written the same way, product by product. Everything in the core range is made in Gaziantep, in our own factory. That is what lets one container carry five product groups, lets us check a lot before it is packed, and lets us photograph the pallets before the doors close.

We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.

  • Food importers and distributors that supply the supermarkets of Managua and the pulpería trade in León, Chinandega, Estelí, Masaya and Matagalpa
  • Wholesalers and party-supply distributors that sell confites, gomitas, dragées and small bars by the carton for birthdays, weddings and the mesa de dulces
  • Bakery and pastry ingredient distributors that ask for cobertura de chocolate and baño de repostería by the kilo — sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting
  • Brands and own-label buyers, including supermarket own label, that want a line under their own name with the label content prepared in Spanish before printing

Nicaragua notes

What stays the same on every offer.

Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.

Label
A Spanish label prepared to the Central American technical regulation on the labelling of pre-packaged food: the name of the food, the ingredient list with the allergen declaration, the nutrition table, metric net weight, storage conditions, the production and expiry dates printed in production rather than stickered on afterwards, the country of origin and the importer's name and address. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries; for private label we prepare the label content from our technical data sheet and check your artwork against it before anything is printed.
Customs and entry
The importer holds the registro sanitario for each product with the health authority on its side, and consignments are inspected on entry. Nicaragua classifies imports under the Central American tariff system and there is no free trade agreement between Türkiye and Nicaragua; the offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order. For the file we supply the technical data sheet per product, the health certificate, the certificate of origin and the analysis report per line.
Certificates
We list the food-safety and halal certificates on that line and send the certificate itself as a document rather than describing it. Nothing is claimed for a line whose producer does not hold it. The health certificate and the certificate of origin travel with the shipment.
What goes in the container
One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, mixed across chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and pistachio products, each line on its own pallet so the warehouse can break the load down line by line. The minimum per line, the case weight and the pieces per carton are on the offer. Offers are in US dollars — the shelf prices in córdobas, the offer does not — and payment is by bank transfer: 50% with the order, 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.
Route and temperature
Sea freight from Mersin to Corinto with transshipment, usually through Panama or Cartagena; the offer names the transshipment port, the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, and the transit. If you clear on the Caribbean side or through a neighbouring port and truck the container in, name the port and the offer is written to it. The country is hot in every season, so chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer year round; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry, and both can share the same container.
The pulpería shelf and the price point
A large part of the volume moves through pulperías and the wholesale market trade in Managua rather than through a supermarket chiller, and it moves at a price the shopkeeper can mark up. That shelf wants wrapped sweets, small bars, gomitas and dragées in small packs by the carton, and there is no cold chain behind it: the offer states per line whether the coating is chocolate or compound, so the compound-coated line goes to the unrefrigerated shelf and the chocolate line goes where it can be kept. Tell us the price point you sell at and the offer is built around it.
December, and the mesa de dulces
The sweet year here peaks in December — turrón, caramelos navideños, dulces and postres de navidad — and then again at every birthday and wedding, where a mesa de dulces has to be filled. Sugared almonds by colour, chocolate dragées in milk, dark and white, coated nuts, jellies and mini bars in gift boxes are the lines we quote for that table. Turrón itself, the almond nougat the season is named after, sits outside the core range: sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting. A December shelf is ordered early enough for the sea leg.
Dubai chocolate, pistachio spread and cobertura
Chocolate de Dubái, the pistachio and kadayif bar, is the product term that moves here, and it is made in Gaziantep too, where the pistachio grows and the kadayif is made, in retail and gift formats in our standard packs or under your brand. The pistachio jar goes with it: a pistachio spread, the crema de pistacho a reader is looking for. Delicias turcas is the Spanish name for Turkish delight, and the boxed lines, the pistachio roll and chocolate covered lokum are on the Turkish delight page. Cobertura de chocolate and baño de repostería by the kilo, which the bakery and doughnut trade asks for, are outside that range: sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting.

Private label chocolate and confectionery for Nicaraguan brands

Looking for a private label chocolate manufacturer for a Nicaraguan brand, a supermarket own-label line, or dragées and gift boxes under your own name for the mesa de dulces and the December table? We put our own lines under your name: tablets, mini bars, dragées in doypacks and small packs, gift boxes and Turkish delight boxes, with the label content prepared in Spanish, checked against our technical data sheet, and nothing printed before you approve it. The minimum per line is stated in the offer.

Questions

Asked before the first list.

Do you work with importers and wholesalers in Nicaragua?

We quote for food importers, distributors, wholesalers, party and gift suppliers and private-label brands in Nicaragua. Send the product references, the quantities you have in mind and the port; the written offer follows within two working days, in US dollars.

What is the minimum order?

One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, mixed across the lines you choose, each line on its own pallet. The minimum per line is written into the offer, together with the case weight and the pieces per carton.

Who holds the registro sanitario?

The importer does, on its side, for each product. What we send for the file comes from our factory: the technical data sheet per product, our certificates, the health certificate, the certificate of origin and the analysis report per line.

Do you have turrón for the Christmas season?

The core range is chocolate, dragées and sugared almonds, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and pistachio products; nougat-style turrón sits outside it and is sourced on request — we confirm composition and format before quoting. For the December table the lines we quote directly are sugared almonds by colour, chocolate dragées, coated nuts, jellies and gift boxes.

Can you quote cobertura de chocolate by the kilo for a bakery?

Couverture and coating chocolate in bulk are outside the core range: sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, because what a bakery needs — the cocoa content, the fat used and the format it arrives in — has to match the line it is going into.

Is it chocolate or compound?

Both exist, for different shelves. The offer states per line whether the line is chocolate or compound-coated, so the bar that has to sit on an unrefrigerated pulpería shelf and the one that goes to a supermarket are not confused with each other.

Is the container a reefer?

For chocolate and chocolate-coated lines on this route, yes, year round; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies are quoted dry, and both can travel in the same container as the offer states.

Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?

Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
