Private label chocolate, dragées and Turkish delight from Gaziantep, for brands in Nicaragua
Tablets and bars, dragées in doypacks and pyramid boxes, sachets and flowpacks built for the pulpería carton, 350 g lokum boxes and pistachio spread jars, made in Gaziantep under your own name and loaded for Corinto. The Spanish label content is prepared from our technical data sheet to the Central American technical regulation for prepackaged food, so the printed pack and the registro sanitario file say the same thing. Nothing is printed until you approve the final artwork in writing.
Home / Private label / Nicaragua

Made in Gaziantep, sold under your brand.
Nicaragua grows cacao, and there are craft makers around Matagalpa and Granada who will run a small bar and put a name on it. For a single-origin tablet, a hotel gift or a café line that is often the right route, and we would say so. What is not there is what a wrapped shelf line actually needs behind it: a dragée pan, a Turkish delight line, a doypack and flowpack hall, and a plant willing to run several different product groups for one brand at the volume a distributor in Managua works with. So the importer supplying the supermarkets of the capital, the wholesaler who sells by the carton to the pulperías of León, Chinandega, Estelí and Matagalpa, the party and gift distributor filling a mesa de dulces, and the chain building an own label all end up importing the line anyway. We are the other side of that import: a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, Türkiye, putting our own lines under your name and loading the container for Corinto.
What this route adds is width in one shipment. Your name can go on a pistachio tablet, on the pistachio and kadayıf bar the shelf is asking for as chocolate de Dubái, on sugared almonds in the colours of the piñata bag, on a 350 g Turkish delight box for the December table and on a pistachio spread jar — from our own factory, on one order, one set of documents and one container. No single line has to fill that box by itself: it is panelled, each line sits on its own pallet, and your own-brand lines travel with lines in our standard packs ordered at the same time, the chocolate quoted in a reefer and the lokum, dragées and jellies dry. The file does not split either, because the registro sanitario stays with the importer whichever brand is on the wrapper, so your line and the rest of the container go through the same entry. The minimum, then, is not the container. It is set per line and stated in the offer.
Your label goes on lines produced in our own factory in Gaziantep.
Five formats, one container.
Nothing printed before you approve.
- 01
Line and minimum
You name the lines from the product pages and the pack format you want them in. We confirm which of them can be made under your brand, whether the line is chocolate or compound coated, the case weight and the pieces per carton for the shelf you sell to, and the minimum, which is set per line and stated in the offer.
- 02
Label content
We prepare the Spanish label content to the Central American technical regulation for the labelling of prepackaged food: the name of the food, the ingredient list with allergens declared, the nutrition table, net content in metric units, lot, storage, the production and expiry dates printed in production rather than stickered on afterwards, country of origin, and the name and address of the importer in Nicaragua. The data comes from our technical data sheet.
- 03
Artwork approval
You place that content in your arte final. We check the layout back against our data sheet, line by line, and you approve it in writing. Before that written approval nothing is printed: no wrapper, no sleeve, no box, no label. Samples from our running production, in our standard packs, are free of charge and you cover the courier; a sample in your own wrapper is itself a print run, so it comes after the approval, never before it.
- 04
Production and loading
We run the line, check the lot before packing, consolidate the pallets and photograph them. Your brand line is panelled into the same container as the rest of the order, each line on its own pallet, and the box leaves Mersin for Corinto with transshipment, the offer naming the transshipment port, the delivery term and the transit. If you clear through a neighbouring port and truck the container in, say so before loading and the documents are written to that entry. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer year round on this route, because there is no cool season to load into.
What to know before the first list.
- Label
- A Spanish label prepared to the Central American technical regulation on the labelling of pre-packaged food: the name of the food, the ingredient list with the allergen declaration, the nutrition table, metric net weight, storage conditions, the production and expiry dates printed in production rather than stickered on afterwards, the country of origin and the importer's name and address. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries; for private label we prepare the label content from our technical data sheet and check your artwork against it before anything is printed.
- Customs and entry
- The importer holds the registro sanitario for each product with the health authority on its side, and consignments are inspected on entry. Nicaragua classifies imports under the Central American tariff system and there is no free trade agreement between Türkiye and Nicaragua; the offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order. For the file we supply the technical data sheet per product, the health certificate, the certificate of origin and the analysis report per line.
- Certificates
- We list the food-safety and halal certificates on that line and send the certificate itself as a document rather than describing it. Nothing is claimed for a line whose producer does not hold it. The health certificate and the certificate of origin travel with the shipment.
- Minimums
- Set per line and stated in the offer. The unit of sale is one full container, panelled, so an own-brand line travels in the same box as other lines and a first order is not limited to one product.
- Lead time
- Stated per line in the offer and counted from the deposit and the written artwork approval, not from the first enquiry. Plan the December shelf backwards from that date with the sea leg and the transshipment added, and remember that the sweet season here opens with La Purísima and the Gritería in the first days of the month, not at Christmas, so the shelf date you are working to is earlier than the calendar suggests.
- Certificates
- Held for our factory in Gaziantep: the food-safety certification the plant is audited to, halal or kosher on the lines that carry it, the technical data sheet and the analysis report. The holder is named per line and copies are available on request. We do not put a certificate on an offer that we do not hold.
- Currency and payment
- Offers in US dollars, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP — the shelf prices in córdobas, the offer does not. Bank transfer, 50% with the order and 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs. There is no trade agreement between Türkiye and Nicaragua, so the offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, and the landed cost of your own line is known before the artwork goes to print rather than after.
- Registro sanitario and your name
- Prepackaged food is sold in Nicaragua against a registro sanitario held by the importer and granted per product, so on an own-brand line the file is opened in your name and the label carries you as the responsible party. From our side we supply what that file asks for: the technical data sheet, the ingredient breakdown, the shelf-life statement, the analysis report per line, the health certificate and the certificate of origin, and, where it is asked for, a free sale certificate.
- The other route, and what is outside our range
- A craft maker in Matagalpa, or a co-packer across the border in the region, is the obvious route, and for a plain bar or a biscuit it is often the right one. This route earns its place where those cannot follow: pistachio lines from where the pistachio grows, sugared almonds, Turkish delight and the Dubai style bar — several product groups under one brand, from our own factory, on one order. Outside our own range, and not run under your brand by us: couverture and coating chocolate by the kilo, cocoa, raw nuts, dried fruit and empty packaging. They are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting.
- Two shelves, one brand
- The supermarket in Managua takes the printed box, the tablet and the gift format, and it buys them for December and for the party trade that runs all year. The pulpería, the market wholesaler and the piñata bag take the sachet, the jelly and the compound-coated mini bar, in a case weight that keeps the unit at a coin and with no chiller anywhere behind it. The same brand can sell to both, but not with the same pack. Say which shelf a line is for and the format, the weight, the coating and the carton are chosen for it before the artwork is drawn.
Asked by brands first.
Are you the manufacturer?
Yes. Chocolate, dragées, pistachio and hazelnut creams, popping candy and Turkish delight are made in our own factory in Gaziantep, and we have exported since 2002. We run your private-label lines, check the lot before packing and load the container at our factory.
Can we launch our own brand without filling a container with a single product?
Yes. The unit of sale is one full container, panelled: your own-brand line travels with other lines, each on its own pallet, so a first order can carry a tablet, a dragée pouch and a lokum box at the same time. What each line has to reach is its own minimum, set per line and stated in the offer, not the volume of a whole container.
Who prepares the Spanish label, and when is it printed?
We prepare the content from our technical data sheet to the Central American technical regulation for prepackaged food; you place it in your arte final and add your details as importer; we check that layout back against the data sheet; you approve it in writing. Nothing is printed before that written approval, and the same content is what goes into the registro sanitario file, so the pack and the file agree from the start.
Who holds the registro sanitario for an own-brand line?
The importer in Nicaragua holds it, per product, so on your own brand the file is opened in your name and the label shows you as the responsible party. We supply our documents the file needs so the paperwork and the pallet match.
Can we put the Dubai style pistachio bar under our own name?
On selected lines, yes: it is made in Gaziantep, where the pistachio grows and the kadayıf is made, in retail and gift formats. We confirm the recipe, the pistachio content and the format under your name, and whether the coating is chocolate or a compound coating is written per line on the offer. A compound coating is never called chocolate on a document that leaves this office.
Can you make turrón for December, or cobertura for a bakery, under our brand?
Neither is in our own range. Nougat turrón, and couverture or coating chocolate by the kilo, along with cocoa, raw nuts, dried fruit and empty packaging, are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting. What we can run under your own name for that same December shelf is the boxed Turkish delight, sugared almonds by colour, chocolate dragées, coated nuts and gift boxes.
Will our line survive the pulpería shelf without a chiller?
That is decided per line, and it is written on the offer as chocolate or compound coating rather than left to the wrapper to imply. A compound-coated mini bar and a jelly are built for an unrefrigerated shelf and a coin price; a chocolate tablet is quoted in a reefer to Corinto and belongs where it can be kept. Tell us the price point and the shelf, and the recipe, the case weight and the carton are chosen for it.
Are you a private label chocolate manufacturer?
Yes. Your label is printed in our own factory in Gaziantep after you approve the artwork, and the minimum per line is stated in the offer. Prices are not published; they come in the written offer.
