Turkish chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight and confectionery for importers and wholesalers in Switzerland
One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, into Switzerland: chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and pistachio products, by road trailer across Europe or by sea to Rotterdam and up the Rhine to Basel. Switzerland is outside the EU, so the goods travel under the Türkiye–EFTA free trade agreement with its own origin proof, not the A.TR of an EU entry. Written offer in US dollars within two working days of your list.

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.
We quote for Swiss food importers and distributors, for the wholesalers that supply the Turkish, Balkan and Middle Eastern shops in Zürich, Basel, Bern, Winterthur and St. Gallen, for the confectionery and kiosk wholesalers that buy by the carton for market stalls, kiosks, the wedding trade and the candy-bar table, and for Swiss brands that want chocolate, dragées or Turkish delight made under their own name. If you are searching Grosshandel Süssigkeiten for a supplier that fills a container rather than a pallet, or looking for the Dubai Schokolade bar, the pistachio spread the shelf calls Pistaziencreme, lokum, Türkische Delight, dragées and sugared almonds behind those searches, this is what we quote for. The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across as many lines as you like, each line on its own pallet.
Everything we load is made in Gaziantep, in our own factory. That is what lets one container carry five product groups, and lets us check the lot before it is packed and photograph the pallets before the doors close. And Switzerland is written into this page throughout rather than assumed: the trade agreement, the origin proof and the label rules here are Swiss, not European, and a document set copied from a German entry does not clear at a Swiss customs office.
We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.
- Food importers and distributors that clear their own entries into Switzerland and supply retail, gastro and specialist shops
- Turkish, Balkan and Middle Eastern shelf wholesalers supplying the shops in Zürich, Basel, Bern and St. Gallen by the pallet
- Confectionery, kiosk and party wholesalers buying dragées, sugared almonds and wrapped sweets by the carton for market stalls, weddings and the candy-bar trade
- Swiss brands and retailers wanting chocolate, dragées or Turkish delight made under their own name for the Swiss shelf
Six lines, mixed to your list.
Each line travels on its own pallet; the container is mixed. Outside the core range we source on request and load it in the same shipment.

What stays the same on every offer.
Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.
- Label
- A Swiss label, in the national languages you sell in. Switzerland has its own food law, so the content is prepared for a Swiss pack rather than copied from an EU one: the ingredient list with allergens indicated, the nutrition declaration per 100 g, metric net quantity, the best-before date, and the name and Swiss address of the business that places the product on the market. Most Swiss packs carry German with French and Italian alongside; you name the languages. The name on the pack matters as much as the list: where a line is a compound coating rather than chocolate, the offer says so per line and the name is checked against the Swiss composition rules before anything is printed. For private label we prepare the label content and check your artwork against it before print.
- Entry and the trade agreement
- Trade between Türkiye and Switzerland runs under the Türkiye–EFTA free trade agreement, not the EU customs union: the origin proof is its own document, and the A.TR movement certificate used for EU entries does not apply here. The offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order. The Swiss importer is the business responsible for the product on the market; the technical data sheet and lot traceability travel with the offer, and certificate copies are available on request.
- Route
- Switzerland has no seaport, so there are two routes and the offer states which one it quotes. A road trailer from Gaziantep across Europe, moving under transit while it crosses EU territory and cleared at the Swiss customs office on entry; or sea freight from Mersin to Rotterdam and inland by rail or barge up the Rhine to Basel. The delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, is stated in the offer. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer for the warm months; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry.
- Certificates
- Certificates are held for our factory: food-safety (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP), Halal and Kosher certificates. The holder is named per line and copies are available on request; a line without a certificate is stated as such rather than covered by a general claim.
- What goes in the container
- One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, or one full trailer, mixed across as many lines as you like, each line on its own pallet so a wholesaler can break the load down by product rather than by shipment. Case weight, pieces per case and the pallet plan are stated per line, and the minimum per line is stated in the offer. We photograph the loaded pallets before the doors close. Offers are written in US dollars within two working days of your list; bank transfer only, 50% with the order and 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.
- Swiss chocolate, and the pistachio end
- Switzerland makes chocolate and makes it well, and nothing here is offered as an alternative to a Swiss bar. What comes out of Gaziantep is the end Swiss lines do not cover: pistachio. The bar Switzerland searched for as Dubai Schokolade — pistachio and kadayıf — is made where the pistachio grows and the kadayıf is made, in retail and gift formats in our standard packs or under your brand; pistachio spread in jars, which the shelf calls pistachio cream, travels with it, and so do lokum, special lokum, sugared almonds and chocolate dragées. On that search term the Swiss chocolatiers hold the ground, which tells you the name is taken; the ingredient end behind it is not.
- The Turkish shelf, the markets and the wedding table
- Switzerland already has a Turkish and oriental retail layer, in the cities and online, and it is import-fed rather than made locally; what reaches it sits at the upper end of the shelf rather than the discount end. Two naming habits are worth knowing before you write a list: Türkischer Honig at a Swiss fair is a nougat, while lokum and Türkische Delight point at Turkish delight proper. Season drives the dragée end. The caramelised almond of the Christmas markets is made on the stall itself, but the coated lines around it are not: sugared almonds for weddings, chocolate dragées in your colours for the candy-bar table, and coated nuts in doypacks and by the carton.
- Sourced on request
- Outside the core range we hold nothing in stock, but we can buy in what your list needs and load it in the same container: couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo, baklava, halva, raw pistachios and bulk nuts, dried fruit, cocoa and empty packaging. These are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting.
Private label chocolate and confectionery for Swiss brands
Looking for a private label chocolate manufacturer for the Swiss shelf, or an own-brand range your importer can clear at a Swiss customs office? We put our own lines under your name: tablets and bars, dragées in doypacks and favour packs, gift boxes, Turkish delight boxes and pistachio spread jars, with the label content prepared to Swiss rules in the national languages you sell in, and nothing printed before you approve it.
Private label for Swiss brands →Asked before the first list.
Do you work with importers and wholesalers in Switzerland?
We quote for food importers and distributors, Turkish and oriental shelf wholesalers, confectionery and kiosk wholesalers, and Swiss brands that want their own label. Send the product references, the quantities you have in mind and whether you want the container by road or through Rotterdam; the written offer follows within two working days.
Does the A.TR certificate cover a shipment to Switzerland?
No. The A.TR movement certificate belongs to the EU–Türkiye customs union, and Switzerland is not in the EU. Trade between Türkiye and Switzerland runs under the Türkiye–EFTA free trade agreement, which has its own origin proof; the offer states which document travels with your container.
Is there duty on chocolate and confectionery entering Switzerland?
The offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order. Rates are not published on this site because they change; what is fixed is that you see them in writing, per line, before you commit.
Switzerland has no seaport. How does the container arrive?
Two ways, and the offer says which it quotes. A road trailer from Gaziantep across Europe, under transit while it crosses EU territory and cleared at the Swiss customs office on entry; or sea freight from Mersin to Rotterdam and inland by rail or barge up the Rhine to Basel. Chocolate lines are quoted in a reefer for the warm months.
Which languages does the label need?
Swiss food law is its own, so the content is prepared for a Swiss pack rather than copied from an EU one. Most Swiss packs carry German with French and Italian alongside; you name the languages you sell in, and we prepare the content from our technical data sheet, with the name and Swiss address of the business placing the product on the market.
Do you supply couverture, baklava or bulk nuts?
They are outside the core range. We buy them in on request and load them in the same container; we confirm composition and format before quoting.
What is the minimum order?
One full container, 20 ft or 40 ft, or one full trailer, mixed across the lines you choose. The minimum per line is stated in the offer.
Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?
Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
