The other route

Made in Gaziantep, sold under your brand.

A Swiss brand searching for a chocolate manufacturer finds Swiss makers first, and for a Swiss bar that is the right answer: the industry here is old and good at it. We are the other route. We are a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, Türkiye, putting our own lines under your name and sending the container to a Swiss customs office by road across Europe, or through Rotterdam and up the Rhine to Basel.

The difference is the range and the origin in one shipment. A Swiss brand can launch a pistachio bar made where the pistachio grows, sugared almonds and chocolate dragées in its own colours for the wedding and candy-bar trade, a lokum box and a pistachio spread jar, from our own factory, on one order and one document set. Because Switzerland is outside the EU, the label content and the origin proof are prepared for a Swiss entry rather than lifted from a German one. The question at the end is always the same: who makes it, and at what minimum. We make it in our own factory in Gaziantep; the minimum is set per line and stated in the offer.

Your label goes on lines produced in our own factory in Gaziantep.

How it works

Nothing printed before you approve.

  1. 01

    Lines and formats

You name the lines from the product pages and the pack format. We confirm which of them can be made under your brand, at what minimum and in what lead time.

  2. 02

    Label content

We prepare the content for a Swiss pack from our technical data sheet: ingredients with allergens indicated, the nutrition declaration per 100 g, metric net quantity, the best-before date, and the name and Swiss address of the business placing the product on the market, in the national languages you sell in. Where a line is a compound coating rather than chocolate, the name on the pack is checked against the Swiss composition rules.

  3. 03

    Artwork

You send the artwork; we check it against the label content and you approve it in writing. Nothing is printed before that.

  4. 04

    Production and shipping

We run the line in our factory, we check and photograph the pallets, and the container leaves with the origin proof for the EFTA agreement and the document set for the Swiss entry, in a reefer for chocolate lines in the warm months.

The honest part

What to know before the first list.

Label
A Swiss label, in the national languages you sell in. Switzerland has its own food law, so the content is prepared for a Swiss pack rather than copied from an EU one: the ingredient list with allergens indicated, the nutrition declaration per 100 g, metric net quantity, the best-before date, and the name and Swiss address of the business that places the product on the market. Most Swiss packs carry German with French and Italian alongside; you name the languages. The name on the pack matters as much as the list: where a line is a compound coating rather than chocolate, the offer says so per line and the name is checked against the Swiss composition rules before anything is printed. For private label we prepare the label content and check your artwork against it before print.
Entry and the trade agreement
Trade between Türkiye and Switzerland runs under the Türkiye–EFTA free trade agreement, not the EU customs union: the origin proof is its own document, and the A.TR movement certificate used for EU entries does not apply here. The offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order. The Swiss importer is the business responsible for the product on the market; the technical data sheet and lot traceability travel with the offer, and certificate copies are available on request.
Certificates
Certificates are held for our factory: food-safety (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP), Halal and Kosher certificates. The holder is named per line and copies are available on request; a line without a certificate is stated as such rather than covered by a general claim.
Minimums
Set per line and stated in the offer; the unit of sale is one full container or trailer, which can mix your own lines with lines in our standard packs.
Label languages
Switzerland is not in the EU and its food law is its own, so the content is prepared for a Swiss pack rather than copied from an EU one. Most Swiss packs carry German with French and Italian alongside; you name the languages you sell in and we prepare the content for each of them.
Chocolate or compound
The offer states per line whether the product is chocolate or a compound coating, and the name on the pack is checked against the Swiss composition rules before anything is printed.
Certificates
Held for our factory in Gaziantep: food-safety (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP), Halal and Kosher certificates. The holder is named per line and copies are available on request.
Samples
Free of charge from our running production; you cover the courier, paid before dispatch.
Lead time
Stated per line in the offer and counted from the deposit and the approved artwork.
Currency and payment
Offers in US dollars, written within two working days of your list; bank transfer, 50% with the order and 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.
Questions

Asked by brands first.

Are you the manufacturer?

Yes. Chocolate, dragées, pistachio and hazelnut creams, popping candy and Turkish delight are made in our own factory in Gaziantep, and we have exported since 2002. We run your private-label lines, check the lot before packing and load the container at our factory.

Can we start with one product?

The unit of sale is one full container or trailer. It can carry one own-brand line together with other lines from the same factory, so a first order does not have to be one product in bulk.

Who prepares the Swiss label, and in which languages?

We prepare the label content from our technical data sheet for a Swiss pack, in the national languages you sell in; most Swiss packs carry German with French and Italian alongside. You place it in your artwork, add the details of the business placing the product on the market, and approve the final version in writing.

Can one artwork serve both Switzerland and the EU?

Switzerland and the EU are separate regimes, with separate rules and separate origin proofs, so we prepare the label content per market and you decide with your own adviser whether one pack can carry both. What we supply is the content for each, from the same data sheet.

Does an own-brand line need anything special at the Swiss border?

The origin proof under the Türkiye–EFTA free trade agreement, not the A.TR of an EU entry, plus our data sheet and certificates per line. The offer lists what travels with the container and states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day.

Can you supply couverture or bulk filling so we make the bar ourselves?

Couverture, bulk chocolate by the kilo and bulk pistachio filling are outside the core range. They are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting.

Are you a private label chocolate manufacturer?

Yes. Your label is printed in our own factory in Gaziantep after you approve the artwork, and the minimum per line is stated in the offer. Prices are not published; they come in the written offer.
