Turkish chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight and confectionery for importers in Tunisia
One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, to Radès or Sfax: chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and pistachio products, with the label content prepared in Arabic and French. The correspondence and the offer come in French or English, in US dollars, within two working days of your list.

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.
We quote for Tunisian food importers and distributors, for the wholesalers that move sweets and chocolate by the carton to supermarkets, groceries and the sweets trade, for pastry houses and event traders that buy sugared almonds and chocolate dragées in quantity, and for brands that want chocolate, dragées or Turkish delight made under their own name. If you are looking for chocolate wholesale Tunisia can price by the carton, chocolate importers in Tunisia, Turkish delight, or dragées for the tray trade, this is what we quote for. The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across as many lines as you like.
Tunisia does not read as one market in the import figures, it reads as two. In sugar confectionery, an import table of 3,973,191 US dollars in 2024, Türkiye is the first supplier with 27.1 per cent: the Turkish carton is already known to the trade here, and the wholesaler does not need to be persuaded that it sells. In chocolate the table is almost three times larger, 11,346,482 US dollars in 2024, and Türkiye sits eleventh with 3.2 per cent, while Germany holds 21.7 per cent and Italy 15.6 per cent. Those two facts are the whole argument of this page: the line that is already selling is the bridge, and the chocolate shelf is the part that is still bought from Europe.
Everything in the core range is made in Gaziantep, in our own factory. That is what lets one container carry five product groups, lets us check a lot before it is packed and photograph the pallets before the doors close, and lets the offer state every line. Nothing on this page is a promise about duty, shelf life or a minimum: those are stated per line, in writing, in the offer.
We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.
- Food importers and distributors supplying supermarkets, groceries and regional wholesalers from Tunis and Radès to Sfax, Sousse and the inland towns
- Confectionery wholesalers that already move Turkish sweets by the carton and want the chocolate lines loaded beside them in the same container
- Pastry houses and event traders buying sugared almonds, chocolate dragées and coated nuts by the carton for trays and favours
- Brands and retail chains that want chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight or pistachio spread made under their own name, with the label content prepared in Arabic and French
- Sourcing offices and traders outside Tunisia buying for a Tunisian consignee, who need the document set and the delivery term fixed before the order
Six lines, mixed to your list.
Each line travels on its own pallet; the container is mixed. Outside the core range we source on request and load it in the same shipment.

What stays the same on every offer.
Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.
- Two tables, two positions
- Sugar confectionery: an import table of 3,973,191 US dollars in 2024, with Türkiye first at 27.1 per cent. Chocolate: 11,346,482 US dollars, with Türkiye eleventh at 3.2 per cent, Germany at 21.7 per cent and Italy at 15.6 per cent. For a buyer this means two different conversations. On sweets we are quoting into a line the trade already carries, so the question is format, case weight and landed cost. On chocolate we are quoting against a European shelf, so the offer has to answer on composition, pack format and lead time line by line, and it is written that way.
- French is the buying language
- We measured the three languages separately before writing anything. French is where the buying happens: 187 phrases above the twenty-a-month threshold, 14,520 searches a month in total, of which 600 a month are wholesale and supply phrasing. English carries 590 a month of B2B phrasing, largely from outside the country. Arabic is by far the busiest consumer language at 6,310 searches a month, but the B2B phrasing in it measured zero. So the offer, the price list and the correspondence come in French or English, and Arabic is where the pack has to speak, not the purchase order.
- How that 600 was counted
- The raw French B2B total was 1,030 a month. We did not print that number, because the same request is recorded three times under different word orders, and adding them up inflates the market by about 1.7 times. Merging the variants and keeping only phrases above twenty a month leaves 600. We would rather hand a buyer a number we can defend than a bigger one, and the same rule applies to everything numeric on this site: if it is not measured, it is not written.
- Where the shelf sits today
- The search results tell you where a Tunisian buyer currently lands. Arabic queries fill up with Gulf online retail, priced at the piece, with recipe pages mixed in; local supplier pages barely appear. French queries return wholesalers in France and Spain and a French B2B marketplace, which means European stock, a European margin and a second set of documents. English queries return trade-statistics pages rather than suppliers, the profile of someone studying Tunisia from outside. A direct container from Gaziantep removes one rung from that ladder: the goods are bought where they are made, in the format you specify, on one set of documents.
- Label
- The mandatory information in Arabic, with French alongside as the importer’s file requires: the name of the food, the ingredient list with allergens, metric net weight, storage conditions, the importer’s name and address and the date marking. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries before you order. For private label we prepare the label content in both languages from our technical data sheet, and we check your artwork against it before anything is printed.
- Origin document and duty
- The origin document that travels with the consignment, and the rules that apply to it, are named in the offer, per tariff line, as they stand on the day of the offer. Buyers sometimes ask us for the movement or conformity papers they have seen used on other routes; those belong to other destinations, and asking for the wrong paper is a common reason a first container waits. No duty rate or percentage is printed on this site, because it changes and because the importer files against the tariff line, not against a web page.
- Importer file and certificates
- The importer holds the registration and files the consignment before it lands. From our side you receive the technical data sheet per product, our certificates and the analysis report per line. Lines with ingredients of animal origin, gelatine in jellies above all, travel with our halal certificate, and the offer names the certifying body per line so it can be checked against what your file accepts before you order. Lines without such ingredients are stated as such on the data sheet.
- Chocolate and compound are not the same word
- A vegetable-fat coated line is a coating, not chocolate, and in the European market it cannot be labelled as chocolate; we never use the two words for the same product. This matters here more than in most places, because the chocolate table is held by European suppliers and the cheapest way to look competitive against it is to quote a coated line as though it were chocolate. Every line in our offer says which it is, so the importer can label it correctly, file it under the right tariff line and put it on the right shelf.
- Ramadan and the seasons
- Ramadan and Eid ranges, gift boxes and mini-bar assortments are quoted ahead of the season, and the lead time per line is stated in the offer rather than here. A first order usually mixes the seasonal lines with the everyday shelf, so one container serves both and the season is not the only thing riding on it.
- Route
- Gaziantep to Mersin is about three hours by road, so consolidation and the port are on the same working week. From Mersin, sea freight to Radès or Sfax, with the transshipment port, the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, and the transit stated in the offer. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer for the warm months; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry, and both can ride in the same container. Offers in US dollars, bank transfer, 50 per cent with the order and 50 per cent before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.
Private label chocolate and confectionery for Tunisian brands
Looking for a private label chocolate manufacturer for a Tunisian brand, a pastry house’s own bar or an own-brand dragée line? We put our own lines under your name: tablets, bars, dragées in doypacks, gift boxes, Turkish delight boxes and jars, with the label content prepared in Arabic and French and nothing printed before you approve it.
Private label for Tunisian brands →Asked before the first list.
Do you work with importers in Tunisia?
We quote for food importers, distributors, wholesalers, pastry houses and private-label brands in Tunisia. Send the product references, the quantities you have in mind and the port; the written offer follows within two working days, in French or English, in US dollars.
Türkiye is already first in confectionery here. Why is chocolate different?
Because they are two different tables. Sugar confectionery imports were 3,973,191 US dollars in 2024 with Türkiye first at 27.1 per cent, while chocolate was 11,346,482 US dollars with Türkiye eleventh at 3.2 per cent, behind Germany at 21.7 per cent and Italy at 15.6 per cent. The sweets buyer already knows the Turkish carton; on chocolate the offer has to win on composition, format and landed cost. The useful part is that both can travel in the same container.
Which language do we correspond in, and which language goes on the pack?
Correspondence, price list and offer in French or English. On the pack, the mandatory information in Arabic with French alongside as your file requires. We prepare that content from our technical data sheet and check it against your artwork before printing.
Is the container a reefer?
Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer for the warm months; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry. Both can be loaded in one container, and the offer states which lines are quoted in which condition.
Can you supply couverture or bulk chocolate by the kilo for a pastry house?
That sits outside our core range. It is sourced on request, and we confirm the composition and the format before quoting, so what you receive in writing is what can actually be loaded rather than a guess.
How is the order paid, and what does the offer fix?
Offers in US dollars; bank transfer only, 50 per cent with the order and 50 per cent before the container leaves, against the loading photographs. The offer fixes the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, the lead time per line, the case weight per line and the origin document that travels with the consignment.
Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?
Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
