Label

The mandatory information in Arabic under the Gulf labelling standard, on the pack or on a sticker, with English alongside; nutrition table and allergen declaration included. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack already carries and what the importer adds; for private label we prepare the label content in Arabic and English from our technical data sheet and check your artwork before anything is printed.

Import registration

Food products are registered by the importer on the municipality’s food import and re-export system before they land, with the label and the halal certificate on file; the offer states what applies on the day and which documents we supply for it. From our side you receive the technical data sheet per product, our certificates and lot traceability.

Halal

Halal certificates are held for our factory, from certifying bodies; the offer names the certificate holder and the body for every line and copies are available on request. A line without a certificate is stated as such.

Trade agreement

The United Arab Emirates and Türkiye have a comprehensive economic partnership agreement. Preferential treatment depends on the origin proof for each product; the offer states the tariff line and what applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order.

Re-export

A container landed in Jebel Ali serves more than the UAE shelf: the Gulf, East Africa and the wider region are supplied from Dubai, and many of our lines travel on from there under the importer’s own documents. For re-export lists we state the pack, the label language and the shelf life per line so the second leg is planned before the first.

Dubai chocolate, from Türkiye

The pistachio and kadayif bar that carries the city’s name is made in Gaziantep too, where the pistachio grows and the kadayif is made, in retail and gift formats in our standard packs or under your brand; pistachio cream and kadayif spread in jars travel with it. The wholesale chocolate market in Dubai already sells Turkish-made versions; every line is in the offer.

Giveaways and gifts

Dragées for births and weddings, chocolate favours, gift boxes and corporate chocolate gifts are bought by the carton in the Emirates and packed by giveaway houses and gift companies. Sugared almonds by colour, chocolate dragées in milk and dark, mini bars and Turkish delight boxes are the lines that fit it; Ramadan and Eid ranges are quoted ahead of the season.

Route

Sea freight from Mersin to Jebel Ali for Dubai and the northern Emirates, and to Khalifa Port for Abu Dhabi; the port and the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, are stated in the offer. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer year round on this route; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry.

Currency and payment

Offers in US dollars. Bank transfer only: 50% with the order, 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.

Sourced on request

Outside the core range we buy in what your list needs and load it in the same container: chocolate covered dates, sugar free chocolate and sugar free Turkish delight, baklava from Gaziantep, biscuits and wafers, bulk pistachio nuts, halva, instant coffee, powdered drinks and spices.
