One mixed container from Gaziantep, Türkiye, to Montevideo: chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, sugared almonds, jellies and pistachio products, each line on its own pallet. The Spanish label content is prepared before anything is printed, with room left for the front-of-pack warning symbols Uruguay applies to this kind of product. Written offer in US dollars within two working days of your list.

Cases of chocolate, dragées and Turkish delight consolidated for one container in Gaziantep
Who we quote for

One container, every line, from Gaziantep.

We quote for food importers in Uruguay, for the candy and chocolate wholesalers that sell by the carton to kiosks, neighbourhood shops and supermarkets, for the pastry, ice cream and gift trade, and for brands that want chocolate, dragées or Turkish delight made under their own name. If you are the importador de alimentos who buys and clears the container, or the mayorista de golosinas whose customers keep asking for something this shelf does not already carry, that is who this page is written for. The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across as many lines as you like — a market this size rarely needs a container of a single product, and it does not have to buy one.

Uruguay is a small country with a shelf that is fed by imports, and the wholesale searches here are held by the country's own distributors: that is the trade we sell into, not around. Everything on this site is made in Gaziantep, in our own factory. That is what lets one container carry five product groups, lets us check a lot before it is packed, and lets us photograph the pallets before the doors close. We are a manufacturer and exporter. The offer says line by line whether a coating is chocolate or a compound coating, rather than leaving it to the word on the carton.

We supply direct from our own factory in Gaziantep, the city we work in.

  • Food importers that buy and clear the container and sell on to supermarket chains, regional wholesalers and the specialty trade from Montevideo
  • Candy and chocolate wholesalers — the mayorista de golosinas trade that sells chocolate, dragées, jellies and wrapped sweets by the carton and looks for lines the local shelf does not already have
  • The pastry, ice cream and gift trade, which searches in Spanish for cobertura and pasta de pistacho; bulk material of that kind is sourced on request, and we confirm composition and format before quoting
  • Brands and own-label buyers that want a line under their own name, with the Spanish label content prepared and space left for the warning symbols before anything is printed

Uruguay notes

What stays the same on every offer.

Rates and rules change; the quotation states what applies on the day. These points do not change.

Label
The label is in Spanish, with the mandatory information Uruguay applies to packaged food: the ingredient list with allergens, the nutrition table, metric net quantity, storage, lot and best-before, and the importer's details. Uruguay also applies front-of-pack warning symbols to packaged food high in sugars, fat or sodium, and confectionery sits squarely in that scope; which symbols a given line carries follows the rules in force on the day and is confirmed on the importer's side. For lines in our standard packs we tell you what the export pack already carries and what the importer adds; for private label we prepare the label content from our technical data sheet, leave the space for the symbols in the artwork, and print nothing before you approve it.
Registration and entry
Packaged food is registered on the importer's side before it goes on sale, and the import file stays with the importer; the consignment is checked on entry. From our side the file gets what it needs: the technical data sheet per product, the analysis report per line, and our certificates. The rules and the lists change, so none of them are printed on this site — the offer states what applies on the day and which documents travel with the goods.
Customs and duty
Uruguay imports under the Mercosur common external tariff, and there is no free trade agreement in force between Türkiye and Mercosur that changes it. The offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order. Nothing about duty is printed on this site, because it changes.
Port and route
Montevideo — for this cargo it is the gateway that matters, and buyers who hold stock in bond there and clear it in batches arrange that on their own side; our offer is written for the container. Sea freight from Mersin with a transshipment: the offer names the transshipment port, the transit and the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP. The leg is long and crosses the tropics whatever the season is in Montevideo, so chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry, and both go in the same container. The gift season here falls in the southern summer, so a container that has to be on the shelf for it is booked with the heat in mind, not the calendar.
What goes in the container
One container, mixed: chocolate tablets and bars, dragées in doypacks and in bulk cartons, boxed Turkish delight and chocolate-covered lokum, sugared almonds, jellies and gummies, pistachio spread in jars and pistachio products. Each line travels on its own pallet with its own lot and best-before, so the warehouse can break the load down line by line. Offers in US dollars, bank transfer only: 50% with the order, 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.
Certificates and documents
Per line you receive the technical data sheet, the ingredient and allergen list, the analysis report and our certificates, including halal or kosher where that line is certified. The documents come with the offer, not after the deposit so the importer knows whose file is behind each pallet.
What this shelf asks for
Uruguay searches in Spanish for chocolate de Dubai, the pistachio and kadayif bar, and for crema or pasta de pistacho. Both are made in Gaziantep, where the pistachio grows and the kadayif is made, in retail bars, gift boxes and jars. Readers look for the jar as crema de pistacho and will find it under that name here, but on the offer and on the label it is a pistachio spread, not a cream. Around the holidays the searches turn to turrón and boxed sweets; turrón is not in our range, and what we quote for that shelf is boxed Turkish delight — delicias turcas — sugared almonds, dragée gift boxes and the pistachio lines.
Sourced on request
Outside the core range we buy in what your list needs and load it in the same container: couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo, which Uruguay searches as cobertura de chocolate, pistachio paste in bulk, raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa and empty packaging. These are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting. For a coating this matters more here than the search term suggests — whether it is chocolate or a compound coating is stated on the offer, line by line, instead of being assumed from the word cobertura.

Private label chocolate and confectionery for Uruguayan brands

Looking for a private label chocolate manufacturer for a Uruguayan brand, a pistachio bar under your own name, or a dragée line for the kiosk and gift trade? We put our own lines under your name: tablets, bars, dragées in doypacks, gift boxes, Turkish delight boxes and pistachio spread jars. The Spanish label content is prepared from our technical data sheet, the artwork leaves space for the warning symbols, and nothing is printed before you approve it. The minimum per line and the lead time are stated in the offer.

Questions

Asked before the first list.

Do you quote for wholesalers in Uruguay, or only for importers?

For whoever buys the container: importers, distributors, and the candy and chocolate wholesalers that import on their own account. If you sell by the carton but do not import yourself, the offer is still worth having — it tells you what the container costs landed, and it can go in front of the importer you already work with.

Which port do you ship to?

Montevideo. The offer names the transshipment port, the transit and the delivery term, FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, so the schedule is on paper before you order.

Which language does the label need, and what about the warning symbols?

Spanish, with the mandatory information Uruguay applies to packaged food. Confectionery falls inside the scope of the front-of-pack warning symbols, and which ones a line carries follows the rules in force on the day, confirmed on the importer's side. For private label we prepare the label content from our technical data sheet and leave the space for the symbols in the artwork before anything is printed.

Is the container a reefer?

For chocolate and chocolate-coated lines, yes — the route crosses the tropics in both directions and the gift season here lands in the southern summer. Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry, and both can go in the same container.

Can you supply cobertura or chocolate by the kilo for a workshop?

Couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo are sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting, and the offer states line by line whether it is chocolate or a compound coating. Pistachio paste in bulk works the same way.

Can you make our own brand for the Uruguayan market?

Yes — private label is one of our core services. We prepare the Spanish label content, you approve the artwork in writing, and the minimum per line and the lead time are stated in the offer.

How does a first order start?

Send the product references, the quantities you have in mind and the port. The written offer follows within two working days in US dollars; payment is 50% with the order and 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs.

Is Antep Foods a chocolate manufacturer in Türkiye?

Yes. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, exporting since 2002. Production takes place in our own factory; certificates and data sheets are issued for our factory. Wholesale only; prices come in a written offer, not on the site.
