Private label chocolate and confectionery from Türkiye, for Uruguayan brands
Tablets and bars, dragée doypacks, single-serve packs, 350 g Turkish delight boxes and pistachio spread jars, made in our factory in Gaziantep and packed under your brand for the Uruguayan shelf. We prepare the Spanish label content from our technical data sheet, and the front-of-pack warning marks are worked out from the composition before the artwork is laid out, because they take room on the panel. Nothing goes to print until you approve it in writing.

Made in Gaziantep, sold under your brand.
A brand, a distribuidora or a wholesale house in Montevideo that wants a line under its own name is working in a market where almost everything on the confectionery shelf arrived in a container. The terms this trade searches — golosinas al por mayor, mayorista de golosinas, chocolate al por mayor, gomitas al por mayor — return the country's own wholesale houses, the ones that sell by the carton to kiosks, almacenes and supermarkets and that are found on a counter, a WhatsApp number and an Instagram feed as much as in a price list. That is the trade we sell into rather than around. The problem those houses share is that a good part of the catalogue is the same catalogue the house down the street carries, which leaves price as the only thing left to argue about. A marca propia is the usual answer to that, and the question underneath it is always the same one: who actually makes it, and at what minimum.
The near alternative here is not only a filler in Montevideo. Inside Mercosur a co-packer in Argentina or Brazil is a short hop, and for a plain milk tablet or a bag of gomitas that is the shorter road — we do not pretend otherwise. Antep Foods is a manufacturer and exporter in Gaziantep, Türkiye: what we add is origin and breadth in one shipment. A line launched this way can carry a pistachio tablet made where the pistachio grows, the pistachio and kadayıf bar that Uruguay searches for as chocolate de Dubai, sugared almonds and dragées in your own colours for the party and wedding trade, a 350 g Turkish delight box for the gift and delicatessen shelf, and a pistachio spread jar — sought here as crema de pistacho, called a spread on the label because that is what it is — from our own factory, on one order, one set of documents and one origin proof. It also has to be sized honestly: this is a small domestic market, so the container is mixed and your own-brand lines travel beside lines in our standard packs instead of forcing a pallet mountain of one reference. The Uruguayan half of the work is the label: the front-of-pack warning marks follow from the composition, they occupy the front panel, and they are settled before the arte final rather than after. We make it in our own factory in Gaziantep; the minimum is set per line and stated in the offer.
Your label goes on lines produced in our own factory in Gaziantep.
Five formats, one container.
Nothing printed before you approve.
- 01
Line and minimum
You name the lines from the product pages and the pack format you want them in. We confirm which of them can be made under your brand, at what minimum, in what lead time, and whether the line is chocolate or a compound coating for the shelf you have in mind. Minimums are set per line and stated in the offer.
- 02
Label content
We prepare the Spanish label content from our technical data sheet: the ingredient list with allergens, the nutrition table, metric net quantity, storage, lot and best-before, and the importer's details. From the same data sheet we work out which front-of-pack warning marks the composition carries, against the rules in force on the day, and your importer confirms it on their side before anything goes to the printer.
- 03
Artwork approval
Your designer places the content and leaves the warning-mark area free in the arte final; we check it against the label content line by line and you approve it in writing. Nothing is printed before that approval — not a box, not a wrapper, not a jar label.
- 04
Production and loading
We run the line in our factory, we check and photograph the pallets, each line on its own pallet with its own lot and best-before, and the container leaves Mersin for Montevideo with a transshipment. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry, and both go in the same container, with the document set for the Uruguayan entry and the origin document for the shipment.
What to know before the first list.
- Label
- The label is in Spanish, with the mandatory information Uruguay applies to packaged food: the ingredient list with allergens, the nutrition table, metric net quantity, storage, lot and best-before, and the importer's details. Uruguay also applies front-of-pack warning symbols to packaged food high in sugars, fat or sodium, and confectionery sits squarely in that scope; which symbols a given line carries follows the rules in force on the day and is confirmed on the importer's side. For lines in our standard packs we tell you what the export pack already carries and what the importer adds; for private label we prepare the label content from our technical data sheet, leave the space for the symbols in the artwork, and print nothing before you approve it.
- Registration and entry
- Packaged food is registered on the importer's side before it goes on sale, and the import file stays with the importer; the consignment is checked on entry. From our side the file gets what it needs: the technical data sheet per product, the analysis report per line, and our certificates. The rules and the lists change, so none of them are printed on this site — the offer states what applies on the day and which documents travel with the goods.
- Customs and duty
- Uruguay imports under the Mercosur common external tariff, and there is no free trade agreement in force between Türkiye and Mercosur that changes it. The offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order. Nothing about duty is printed on this site, because it changes.
- Certificates and documents
- Per line you receive the technical data sheet, the ingredient and allergen list, the analysis report and our certificates, including halal or kosher where that line is certified. The documents come with the offer, not after the deposit so the importer knows whose file is behind each pallet.
- Minimums
- Set per line and stated in the offer; the unit of sale is one full container, which can mix your own-brand lines with lines in our standard packs, so a first order is not limited to one product.
- Lead time
- Stated per line in the offer and counted from the deposit and the approved artwork. The gift weeks here fall in the southern summer while the sea leg crosses the tropics whatever the season is in Montevideo, so a holiday pack is planned backwards from the hottest part of the route. Around those weeks the shelf is searched for turrón; that is not in our range, and what we put there under your brand is boxed Turkish delight, sugared almonds and dragée gift boxes.
- The warning marks decide the artwork
- Uruguay carries front-of-pack warning marks on packaged food high in sugars, fat or sodium, and confectionery sits squarely inside that scope. Which marks a given line carries follows from its composition, against the rules in force on the day, and is confirmed on the importer's side — so the technical data sheet comes first and the marks are settled before the arte final, not after. They take space on the front panel, which matters most on the small formats: a sachet or a single-serve flowpack has little free panel to give away, and that can decide the pack size before it decides the design.
- Certificates
- Held for our factory in Gaziantep: food-safety (FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP), halal and kosher certificates. The holder and the certifying body are named per line, copies are available on request, and the analysis report is issued for the line you are quoting. Where a line is not certified, we say so.
- Currency and payment
- Offers in US dollars; bank transfer, 50% with the order and 50% before the container leaves, against the loading photographs of your pallets. The offer states the banking route that applies on the day.
- Sized for a small shelf
- A market this size rewards a narrow own-brand range that turns over, not a wide one that sits. The container is panasajed: your marca propia lines share it with lines in our standard packs, each on its own pallet, so you can start with two or three references under your name and add the next ones on a later container instead of committing the whole shelf at once.
- The other route
- A filler in Montevideo, or a co-packer in Argentina or Brazil inside Mercosur, covers the everyday shelf, and for a plain bar or a bag of gomitas that is the shorter road. We cover what has to come from origin — pistachio lines, the pistachio and kadayıf bar, sugared almonds and dragées, boxed Turkish delight, pistachio spread — and we send several lines under one brand in one container, on one order and one set of documents.
Asked by brands first.
Are you the manufacturer?
Yes. Chocolate, dragées, pistachio and hazelnut creams, popping candy and Turkish delight are made in our own factory in Gaziantep, and we have exported since 2002. We run your private-label lines, check the lot before packing and load the container at our factory.
Who works out the front-of-pack warning marks, and when?
We do, from the composition on our technical data sheet, against the rules in force on the day, and your importer confirms it on their side — all of it before the arte final is laid out, because the marks take space on the front panel. If you want to know whether a different recipe or a different format would move a line, the question goes to our production team with the data sheet and the answer comes back in writing before anything is printed.
Who prepares the Spanish label, and who lays it out?
We prepare the content from our technical data sheet; your designer places it in the arte final together with the importer's details and the space the warning marks need, and you approve the final version in writing. Nothing is printed before that approval.
Can a first order be a single product?
The unit of sale is one full container, and it is mixed: your own-brand lines travel beside other lines from the same factory, each on its own pallet. For a market this size that is the point — you can launch two or three references under your name without buying a container of one.
Is there an agreement that lowers what we pay at the border?
Uruguay imports under the Mercosur common external tariff, and there is no free trade agreement in force between Türkiye and Mercosur that changes it. The offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day, so the landed cost is known before you order. We do not print rates on this site, because they change.
Part of our shelf is the free shops on the Brazilian border — does that change the pack?
Tell us early if that is where the line is going. It changes what the pack has to do — a gift box bought there is read by a visitor rather than by the shopper who buys weekly in Montevideo, which affects format, size and how the name reads. The requirements and the paperwork for that channel are confirmed on your side with your broker; from ours the factory, the label content and the approval step are the same, and the offer states the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day.
Can you make cobertura or bulk chocolate by the kilo under our brand for the pastry and ice-cream trade?
That sits outside the range we hold: sourced on request; we confirm composition and format before quoting. The same applies to bulk pistachio paste, raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa and empty packaging. Whatever is quoted, the offer states line by line whether a coating is chocolate or a compound coating — a vegetable-fat coating is not sold as chocolate.
Are you a private label chocolate manufacturer?
Yes. Your label is printed in our own factory in Gaziantep after you approve the artwork, and the minimum per line is stated in the offer. Prices are not published; they come in the written offer.
