Two layers on the same pack
The first layer describes the product: its name, its ingredients, its net quantity, how it is kept. That layer belongs to the goods rather than the border, so it is drafted once in Albanian for both shelves.
The second names the business responsible for the food where it is sold. Kosovo and Albania are separate customs territories with their own food rules, so an importer in one is not the responsible business in the other — background on the Kosovo market page and the Albania market page.
What the Albanian text carries, and the check before printing
Per line the pack states the name of the food; the ingredients with allergens emphasised in the text rather than buried; net weight; storage conditions; the batch identification; and the details of the company placing it on the market. Each comes from our technical specification for that line, not a template.
Which is why the name check happens before printing. We prepare the content from the specification, you confirm the exact legal name and address for your market, and nothing goes to print without written approval — a wrong name means reprinting the whole run.
Naming is part of the label, not decoration
Two names get written wrong often enough to be worth stating. The coating first: a shell is either chocolate or a cocoa glaze built on vegetable fat, and a glaze cannot be named as chocolate on the pack. The offer says which applies per line, so the Albanian wording follows the specification.
Then the jar. What we supply is a pistachio spread — a spread, not a cream, and not the 100% pistachio pastry paste a workshop buys for filling, which sits outside the main range. The word buyers search for may be the pastry one; the label says what is in the jar.
Whose name the certificates carry
Documents travel per line and are issued for our factory; copies are available on request. That matters at a label review: the company printed on the pack and the company named on a certificate are not the same party.
Kosovo is not in the European Union, so Kosovo’s own food and customs rules govern and the importer files the declaration. The offer names the customs tariff heading for each line and states what applies on the day it is issued.
One load, several lines, one regime
The sales unit is a full container or truck; there is no part load. But the minimum is set per line and written into the offer — per line, not per container. That is what lets a first order carry six or seven items in measured quantities, each on its own pallet under one packing list, each with its own Albanian label. Details on the private label page.
Temperature decides what shares the load. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines travel at +18/+20 °C; in hot months a refrigerated container is what we quote, and if a dry container is preferred the temperature risk passes to the buyer in writing, before loading. Lokum and dragée go dry all year.
What to send
Send the lines you want and roughly how much of each, the format — retail sales box or bulk carton for a weigh-out counter — the exact legal name and address to print for your market, and the delivery city. Say whether one artwork is to serve both markets, because then only the operator block is versioned.
A written reply follows in two working days, line by line: technical specification, ingredients and allergens, net weight, case and pallet data, minimum per line, customs tariff heading. Payment is 50% at order and 50% before the container leaves, against loading photographs.
Can one Albanian label serve both Kosovo and Albania?
The descriptive part can: name of the food, ingredients and emphasised allergens, net weight, storage, batch. That text is prepared once from our technical specification. What has to be versioned is the block naming the company that first places the food on the market, because that company is different in each market and its name and address are printed on the pack.
Does an EU preferential customs document move a shipment to Kosovo?
No. Kosovo is not in the European Union, so Kosovo’s own food and customs rules govern and the importer files the declaration. The offer names the customs tariff heading for each line and states what applies on the day it is issued.
Whose name is on the certificates, and can any coating be called chocolate?
Certificates are held for our factory; copies are available on request. On naming, a shell built on vegetable fat is a cocoa glaze and cannot be labelled as chocolate — the offer states, per line, whether the coating is chocolate or glaze, and the Albanian wording follows that.
