Bulk lollies from Türkiye: what fits the Australian trade

The Australian trade has its own word and its own channel. Here are the Turkish lines that fit it, and what each needs from the carton. The unit of sale is one full container, mixed across as many lines as you like, with the case weight and the pieces per carton stated per line. Offers are written in US dollars.

How the trade buys

A lolly shop, a party supplier or a corner store buys from a lolly distributor or a confectionery wholesaler; the wholesaler imports or buys from an importer; the importer buys a container. That is the link we quote: a distributor or importer filling one mixed container with the lines its customers ask for, each on its own pallet. A retail group that imports for itself is quoted the same way; a single shop is better served by its wholesaler.

Turkish lines for the lolly list

Fruit jellies in bulk and in wrapped mini packs, popping candy bulk, wrapped mini biscuits, sugared almonds by the colour, chocolate dragées in milk and dark, pebbles and mushrooms for the children’s shelf, and bulk Turkish delight cut for the scoop. The confectionery page and the dragée page list the lines; the offer states which are wrapped and which are loose, because lollies individually wrapped and bulk wrapped lollies are a channel of their own in Australia, party bags and offices.

What the carton needs

A lined, closed carton, because the tub is open and the carton is the last sealed stage; a shelf life on our data sheet, because the tub label has to carry it; one product and one colour per carton; a case weight the shop can lift and the distributor can stack. All of it is stated per line in the offer. Mixed lollies bulk is packed as the distributor asks, by line, not pre-mixed in the carton.

Halal and allergens

Halal is the first question many Australian wholesalers ask about jellies, and it is answered per line by our certificate named in the offer, not by product type. Allergens are declared in plain English on the label, from the data sheet: tree nuts on the sugared almonds and dragées, milk and soy on the chocolate lines, wheat on the biscuits.

The route

Dry lollies, sugared almonds and Turkish delight travel dry. Chocolate lollies bulk and chocolate dragées travel in a reefer on the Australian route, because the container crosses the tropics in every season. Both share one container, dry pallets next to the reefer load only when the whole box is a reefer; the offer says which. Ports are Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Fremantle or Adelaide. The Australia page lists what stays the same on every offer.

What to send first

The lines from the product pages, the quantity per line, wrapped or loose, whether the list must be halal-certified, the destination port and whether anything carries your own brand. The written offer follows within two working days, with the certifying body named per line; the samples page explains how to taste the lines first.

Every line here is made in our own factory at Başpınar OSB, Gaziantep — a 10,000 m² site, exporting since 2002 — and certificate copies are available on request.

Do you sell bulk lollies to shops directly?

The unit of sale is one full container. A retail group that imports can buy it; a single shop is usually served by its distributor, and we quote the distributor.

Are Turkish jellies halal?

It depends on the recipe and our certificate; the offer states it per line and marks lines without a certificate.

Can the lollies carry our brand on the bag?

On selected lines, as one of our core services, with the label content prepared to the Food Standards Code before printing.

How to order

Send the list. We do the rest.

Send your product list with approximate quantities and the destination port. You get one offer covering every line, then one container, loaded and photographed before the doors close.
