Chocolate wholesale in Kuwait: Shuwaikh, the price per kilo, and the container behind the cartons

The trade describes a district and a trade that buys by the carton. Here is the chain from the supplier’s side, and who in it buys the container.

The chain

A baqala, a reseller, a café or a chocolate house buys chocolate by the carton from a wholesaler in Shuwaikh; the wholesaler buys by the pallet from an importer, or imports for itself; the importer brings the container into Shuwaikh port or Shuaiba. That is the link we quote: a foodstuff importer or a wholesale house filling one mixed container from Gaziantep, each line on its own pallet, with the Gulf label and the halal paperwork settled before the deposit.

The price per kilo

Wholesale chocolate in Kuwait price per kg is the most searched form of the query, and the answer is in the offer, not on this site: the price per line in US dollars, by the case and by the kilo where the line is sold that way, the case count, the pallet plan, the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day. Nothing that changes with the exchange rate or the season is printed on a page, so a wholesaler is never quoting from a number that has since moved.

What the Kuwaiti shelf wants from Türkiye

The co-operative and hypermarket shelf wants the everyday wrapped bar, the tablet and the boxed assortment under a Turkish brand; the gift trade wants the pistachio end, the Dubai style bar with pistachio and kadayif, pistachio tablets and pistachio cream; the chocolate houses want dragées by colour and bulk chocolate for their own moulds; and the co-operative shelf has room for boxed Turkish delight. The chocolate page and the dragée page list each group.

The Gulf label and the reefer

Arabic on the label with the ingredients and allergens, net weight and the importer’s name, and the production and expiry dates printed on the pack in production rather than on a sticker; lines with gelatine travel with our halal certificate and the certifying body named. The Gulf is warm in every season, so chocolate lines are quoted in a reefer year round; dragées, jellies and Turkish delight travel dry. The mixed-container page explains how the load is built.

Who fills the container

The unit of sale is one full container. A Shuwaikh wholesaler that moves pallets fills one on its own and is quoted like an importer, with the commercial licence and the food-authority registration on its side; a smaller reseller buys by the carton from the wholesaler that does. A group of resellers that pools an order is quoted like an importer too, each buyer’s cartons on their own pallets.

What to send first

The lines from the chocolate page, the dragée page and the Turkish delight page, the quantity per line, the port, Shuwaikh or Shuaiba, and whether any line carries your own brand. The written offer follows within two working days, in US dollars, with the certifying body named per line; the samples page explains how to taste the lines first, and the Kuwait page lists what stays the same on every offer.

Every line here is made in our own factory at Başpınar OSB, Gaziantep — a 10,000 m² site, exporting since 2002 — and certificate copies are available on request.

Can a baqala or a reseller buy directly from Türkiye?

The unit of sale is one full container. A reseller buys by the carton from the Shuwaikh wholesaler that imports it; a group that pools a container and holds the licence is quoted like an importer.

Do you quote by the kilo?

Yes, on the lines sold that way; the offer states the price per line by the case and by the kilo, with the case count and the pallet plan.

Is the container a reefer?

For chocolate lines, yes, year round on this route. Dry lines travel dry; a mixed load is quoted as the offer states.

How to order

Send the list. We do the rest.
