The bar
A thick milk or dark chocolate shell filled with pistachio cream and toasted kadayif, the shredded pastry that gives the crunch. The trend started in the Gulf; the two ingredients that matter, the pistachio and the kadayif, come from Gaziantep, and we make the bar in retail and gift formats, in our standard packs or under your brand. The Dubai chocolate article explains the recipe.
What Manila bought first
Bakeries, cafes and resellers who made or imported the bar in small batches, at a price set by scarcity and by the searches for where to buy. Behind that shelf is the one a distributor serves: supermarkets, convenience chains, pasalubong shops and the online resellers, which want a bar that does not melt, a price by the box and a registered product. A distributor sells it by the carton and needs the price to hold when the scarcity ends, which is why the compound-coated version and the registered product matter more to the distributor than to the bakery that made the first viral batch, and why the second order is larger than the first.
What the distributor asks for
A shell that suits a warm shelf, which is where compound-coated versions earn their place and are stated as such on the offer; a reefer year round on the Manila route; a price per line with the case count and the pallet plan; the product registration handled before the deposit; and the pack in our standard packs or under your own name with the label content prepared before printing. Pistachio cream in jars travels with the bar; the chocolate page lists the Dubai style group.
Real chocolate or compound
In the Philippines the difference is practical. Real chocolate shells travel in a reefer and must be stored cold to the last shop; compound shells tolerate the sari-sari shelf and cost less. The offer states which is which per line and the name on the pack is checked against the recipe. The chocolate or compound article explains the difference.
Ordering from the Philippines
Send the product references, the quantity per line, the port and whether the pack carries your brand; the registration documents for the line are collected first. The written offer follows within two working days in US dollars. The Philippines page lists what stays the same on every offer.
Is the Turkish-made Dubai chocolate the same bar?
The same idea: pistachio cream and kadayif in a chocolate shell. The recipe, the shell and the share of pistachio vary by producer; the data sheet states them and the sample decides.
Will the bar survive a Manila shelf?
Real chocolate shells need a reefer and cold storage to the last shop; compound-coated versions tolerate the shelf better and are stated as such on the offer.
Can the bar carry our own brand?
On selected lines, as one of our core services, with the label content and the registration documents prepared before printing.
