Turkish chocolate brands or your own label: how an importer chooses

The search says brands. The buyer usually means: what can I put on my shelf that sells, and whose name should be on it. Two answers, and they are not exclusive.

What people mean by Turkish chocolate brands

Consumers who type it met a bar in an ethnic grocery and want it again. Importers who type it want a range that already has a name and a pack, so they can list it without building a brand. Both are asking about established Turkish packs. Most lines on this site are available in our standard packs, and the packs on the product pages show the formats.

Route one: our standard packs

Fastest to shelf. The pack, the recipe and the certificates already exist; the English label is ours. The importer buys cases, not a project. The limit is exclusivity: the same brand can be sold by another importer in the same market. For Turkish and Middle Eastern grocers that is normal; for a mainstream chain it can be a reason to want its own name.

Route two: your own label

Private label as one of our core services. The product is the same; the pack is yours. It takes a line check, a label prepared to your market’s rules and a written artwork approval before anything is printed, and it comes with a minimum per line. What it buys is a name nobody else can stock, and a margin without a brand owner in between. The US private label page goes through the steps.

Most importers do both

The usual container is mixed: lines in our standard packs that sell on sight, pistachio tablets and Turkish delight boxes, next to one or two private-label lines that build the importer’s own range. Each line has its own pallet and its own minimum, so the two routes do not compete for space. Over time the private-label share grows as the importer learns what sells.

What we do not do

We do not list other brand names on this site. The reason is simple: the producers sell to other exporters too, and their names belong to them. In the offer every line names the certificate holder and the brand, so the importer knows exactly what is being quoted. On the site, the products speak; the names come with the quotation.

How to compare two quotations

Whichever route, compare on the same five things. The technical data sheet: recipe, allergens, shelf life. The sample: the same piece the container will carry, not a showroom version. The pack: what the shelf sees and how it survives a pallet. The minimum per line and the pallet plan. The certificate holder: our factory, with the document in its name. A quotation that answers all five in writing is comparable; one that answers them in a phone call is not. The how we work page lists what every offer from Gaziantep contains.

Asking for a price

What we need to price it: the lines you want from the chocolate page, how much of each, and where it lands. Two working days later the written offer comes back with the specification, the case weight and the minimum per line.

A sample goes out before any of that if you want to taste the lines first — free from running production, courier at your cost. The united states: what stays the same on every offer page lists what stays the same on every offer, and the private label for us brands page covers putting your own name on the pack.

Which Turkish chocolate brand is best?

The offer specifies every line and the samples decide. We do not rank producers on the site.

Can we have exclusivity for a producer brand in our state?

That is between the importer and the producer, agreed in writing; it is not something the exporter can promise on a website.

Can a private-label line and a standard-pack line share a container?

Yes; each line travels on its own pallet and the container is mixed.

How to order

Send the list. We do the rest.

Send your product list with approximate quantities and the destination port. You get one offer covering every line, then one container, loaded and photographed before the doors close.
