Sized as a second lane, not as a swap
Nothing here argues that your shelf is empty; it plainly is not. On the declared 2024 figures 85.4 per cent of the chocolate and 89.6 per cent of the sugar confectionery landing here come from one neighbouring country, and a shelf fed that way works.
A first box is therefore sized as cover, not a replacement: wide enough to be worth one document set, shallow enough per line that it does not tie up working capital while the established source runs normally. Mixed and shallow pays again later: the next order follows what sold.
What loads from the range, and what is fetched
The core range is chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and spreads in jars, made in our Gaziantep factory, each line specified in the offer.
The rest is said plainly. Couverture, bulk chocolate by the kilo, raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa, halva, empty packaging, baklava and tahini are sourced on request: composition and format are confirmed before a price is given. Local search spells baklava three ways at 70 a month each and tahini reads 70; neither is ours to claim. What is confirmed loads with the rest.
Format is settled before flavour
A first list arrives in flavours; it must be rewritten in formats before it can be priced — tablet or bar, flow-wrap or box, doypack or jar.
The shelf words measured here are format questions in disguise. The two largest, at 90 a month each, spell one thing: the thick filled bar with a pistachio filling. Give us the filling, the bar weight and the wrap, and we say which line comes nearest, what pistachio content the data sheet declares, and whether the coating is chocolate or compound. Eclairs at 50 a month hides two foods, a toffee and a chilled-counter pastry; Turkish delight at 40 does not.
One box, two temperature regimes
Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer through the warm months; Turkish delight, dragées, jellies and wrapped confectionery ride dry. Both share one box, and the offer states which are the reefer lines, so the cold chain is booked for the whole journey.
The route matters: most of your shelf finishes overland through the region; this box leaves our factory in Gaziantep, loads at Mersin about three hours away, and ends at your coast. Terms quoted are FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP; the offer names the port of entry, the term and any onward leg.
The carton, inside and out
Per line the offer carries case weight, pack count and pieces per case; a carton margin cannot be worked out from a unit price.
The label works in English: the name of the food, the ingredient list with allergens, metric net weight, storage conditions, the importer’s name and address, and the date marking. On own-label lines it is built from our technical data sheet and checkedagainst your artwork before a plate is made. Where the coating is vegetable fat the line is a compound or a glaze, never chocolate: the European Union forbids the word there.
Confirm these, then send the list
Four things settle first: who is named as importer on the pack, the port of entry and the town the goods reach, whose brand the label carries, and whether the last leg is cooled. The origin document and the rules biting on arrival go into the offer as they stand on the day, confirmed by your clearing agent.
Our side of the file is fixed: a technical data sheet per product, an analysis report per line, and our certificates, issued for our factory. Send the list —references, formats, quantity, delivery point — and the offer comes back in writing, in US dollars, priced line by line.
How many lines should a first mixed container carry?
As many as your shelf can test at once. The box is mixed by design: a pallet or part-pallet across chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and spreads in jars teaches you more than depth in two or three references, and the next order is then written from sales rather than from guesswork. Send the references and an indicative quantity per line, and the offer comes back priced line by line.
Can chocolate and Turkish delight travel in the same container?
Yes. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer through the warm months, while Turkish delight, dragées, jellies and wrapped confectionery ride dry, and both sets load into one box. The offer states which lines are the reefer lines so that the cold chain is booked across the whole journey. Delivery terms quoted are FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP.
What do you need from us before you can quote?
The product references, the format for each line, an indicative quantity, the delivery point — the port of entry and the town the goods finally reach — the importer named on the pack, and whether the label keeps our standard pack or carries your brand. Tell us as well whether the last leg to your warehouse is cooled. The answer comes back in writing, line by line, with.
