One box, several lines, every decision taken before it loads

A first load into a market with no coastline is not a bet on one product. It is one mixed container: several lines from our own factory in Gaziantep on one order, one document set, one arrival. This is howthat box is put together: which lines go in, what format each takes, what the offer settles in writing, and what is confirmed with you before the first order.

The two columns decide the proportions

On 2024 mirror figures the two halves of this shelf are not the same size or the same contest. Chocolate comes to about 1,145,967 US dollars, with Turkish product already third in it at 13.03 per cent. Sugar confectionery is far larger at about 6,474,966, held by two origins: Kenya at 64.1 per cent and India at 31.1, Turkish product fifth at 0.77.

A first box follows that shape: weight on the half already accepted here, a measured share of the other, so one arrival tests both.

The lines on a first list, and what sits outside it

Begin from your own shelf: what moves, what you cannot get, what the occasion trade asks for. A first list usually holds a few chocolate references, dragées and sugared almonds for weddings, Turkish delight in a retail box, wrapped candy for kiosks and a spread in jars.

Couverture, bulk chocolate by the kilo, raw pistachios, dried fruit, cocoa, halva, tahini, baklava and empty packaging sit outside that range: sourced on request, with composition and format confirmed before quoting. A line we cannot confirm stays out of the offer.

Format is the decision that fills the box

One product travels several ways, and format decides both the price and the shelf. Dragées in a printed gift carton price differently from dragées in a doypack; Turkish delight sits in a gift box or a bulk carton.

So the list names a format beside every product. The offer comes back in that shape — case weight, units per case, cases per pallet, the minimum on that line, the lead time — and the box is planned on paper before it is packed.

Two signals worth reading before you choose

Search here is consumer-shaped and small: of 859 English phrases, 16 cleared the threshold, about 700 a month, none in wholesale wording; French returned 165, with one at 40. Nothing as a channel; useful as a shortlist.

The loudest is a filled bar named after a Gulf city, 90 a month on each of two spellings — a format, so bar weight, filling and wrapper are confirmed with a producer before quoting. A query for éclairs at 70 means a pastry in some markets and a wrapped toffee in others, so we ask rather than guess.

One box, two temperatures

No sea leg ends in this country. The container loads at Mersin, about three hours by road from our factory in Gaziantep, discharges at a regional port and finishes overland. That inland stretch is where chocolate is most exposed: a box driven on after the port takes its warmest hours away from the sea.

So chocolate and chocolate-coated lines carry a reefer quotation through the warm months, while Turkish delight, dragées, jellies and wrapped candies are quoted dry. One container holds both, and the offer marks each line with the basis it was priced on.

Settled in writing before the first order is made

Anything arguable later is written first: the technical data sheet, ingredients with allergens, net weight, case and pallet data, lead time and price in US dollars. Certificates are issued for our factory, and the origin document applies asit stands on the day.

The delivery term decides where your cost begins: FCA Gaziantep and FOB Mersin hand over early, CIF ends at a coastal port outside your country, DAP names an inland point. The label is prepared in English with French alongside; on own-label lines nothing prints until you approve the artwork. A vegetable-fat coating is a compound or a glaze on the pack, never chocolate; in the European Union it cannot be labelled chocolate at all. Send the references, the quantities and the delivery point; the offer comes back line by line (mixed container).

Can one container really hold several different lines?

That is how the box is built in any case. Chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and spreads in jars from our own factory travel on one order and one document set, with the minimum set perline rather than per container. It is what makes a first load useful here: with one half of the shelf already familiar with Turkish product and the other almost untouched by it, a mixed box tests both at once.

Do the chocolate lines need a reefer, and can dry goods share the box?

Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer through the warm months, because for an inland destination the overland run after the port is the warmest part of the journey. Turkish delight, dragées, jellies and wrapped candies travel dry and can share the same container. The offer states which lines are quoted on which basis.

What do you need from us before you can quote the first container?

The product references and the format for each, the quantities you have in mind, your delivery point and the term you want quoted against, and whether the pack keeps our standard pack or carries your brand. The offer comes back line by line with case and pallet data, lead time and price in US dollars, and the origin document stated as it applies on the day. Lines outside the range are sourced on request, with composition and format confirmed before quoting.

How to order

Send the list. We do the rest.

Send your product list with approximate quantities and the destination port. You get one offer covering every line, then one container, loaded and photographed before the doors close.
