Two hands between the factory and the shelf
In chocolate, Russia supplied 46.34% of the 2025 import value, Kazakhstan 32.17% and Germany 7.24%; Türkiye came eighth at 1.49%, and the basket averaged $2.00 per kilogram. Sugar confectionery is smaller, about $29 million, and the order changes: Russia 33.41%, Ukraine 16.03%, Uzbekistan 10.63% — Türkiye fifth at 8.81%, averaging $1.74 per kilogram.
Kazakhstan does not manufacture chocolate on the scale it sends south. What it has is warehousing, regional distribution and the customs geography of a single economic union, so much of that 32.17% was made elsewhere and re-shipped. A line reaching a Kyrgyz shelf has often changed hands twice: once at the factory, once at a hub. Each link chooses on the retailer's behalf which recipe and which format travels.
What a direct line changes
A direct container removes one of those steps. You pick the lines instead of receiving what a hub decided to stock, and the quotation carries the technical specification, ingredients and allergens, net weight, carton and pallet data, minimum and customs tariff position.
Certificates are issued for our factory; copies are available on request. Private label runs on selected lines on our confirmation: the label is built from that same specification, and nothing is printed without written approval. Payment is 50% at order and 50% before the container leaves, against loading photographs.
The minimum sits on the line, not on the container
The sales unit is a full container or a full truck; there is no partial load. The minimum, though, sits on the line and not on the container — it is set per line and the quotation states it. That is why a first order can carry six or seven items in measured quantities rather than a pallet of one.
A mixed container is built that way, each line on its own pallet, one packing list, one set of documents: chocolates and filled bars including the pistachio-and-kadayıf dubai-style bar, dragées and sugared almonds, chocolate-coated nuts and fruit centres, lokum in bulk and in retail boxes, jelly and popping candy in bulk cartons for weigh-out shelves.
Temperature is part of the specification
Chocolate and chocolate-coated goods travel at +18 to +20 °C, so for the hot months a refrigerated container is quoted. If a dry container is preferred anyway, the temperature risk passes to the buyer in writing before loading — not after a claim.
Lokum, sugared almonds and jelly go dry all year — the calm half of a summer order on an overland route.
Two words the label has to get right
The jar is a spread. Locally it is searched for and shelved as a paste — паста — and that word invites the wrong expectation: a 100% pistachio pastry paste for a workshop. What we sell is a retail spread, and the quotation states the composition of each jar line. Pastry-grade paste, couverture and bulk chocolate by the kilo sit outside the main range — sourced on request only, with composition confirmed first.
The second word is the coating. Where it is built onvegetable fats instead of cocoa butter it is not named chocolate but a cocoa glaze, and the label has to say so; the quotation marks this line by line. The EAC mark and the conformity declaration behind it are the importer's obligation, and that declaration rests on our technical file — which is why the file travels with the offer.
What to send
Four things make an offer worth comparing: the lines and the format for each, bulk carton or retail box; the destination and whether the container should be refrigerated; whether the label carries your brand or our standard pack; and an approximate quantity per line, enough to test against the minimum.
Send that and a written offer comes back in two business days. If a line does not reach its minimum we say so. How we work sets out the rest of the sequence.
Can a first order contain several products?
Yes. The sales unit is a full container or a full truck, but the minimum applies per line rather than per container, so six or seven items can travel together — each on its own pallet, on one packing list.
Is the pistachio jar a 100% pastry paste?
No. It is a retail spread. A pastry-grade paste sits outside the main range and can only be sourced on request, with composition and format confirmed before a quotation.
Whose name are the certificates in?
The producer's. Each line's documents are issued for our factory and copies are available on request; the conformity declaration behind the EAC mark is the importer's obligation in Kyrgyzstan and is built on that file.
