Start from the shelf you already sell
The most useful first list is one you can price against something you move today. Take the lines your counter or your wholesale buyers turn over now, describe them by what they are rather than by a brand on somebody else’s pack, and add the two or three you want to test.
The range quoted from is chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and spreads in jars. A first load usually mixes the everyday shelf with the occasion shelf — sugared almonds, dragée cartons, mini-bar assortments — so one container serves two calendars.
Format is the decision, not the product
The same sweet is three products depending on how it is packed, and format is what a distant single source settles on your behalf. On the sugar confectionery column here that source holds roughly 90.1 per cent, so bag size, carton weight and print arrive already decided.
Loading at origin puts them back in your hands: loose by the kilo in a bulk carton, a printed bag, a doypack, a retail box for the gift shelf, a jar for the spread line. Name the format and the case weight per line, and the price follows the format rather than the reverse.
What actually shares the box
One container carries lines from our own factory on one order and one document set, with theminimum set per line rather than per container, so a first load can be wide and shallow.
Temperature splits the list, not the container. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer through the warm months; Turkish delight, dragées, hard and chewy confectionery and jellies travel dry and take the inland road leg far better. Both still fit one box; say which season the road leg falls in and the mix is built around it.
What the offer says in writing
The offer is the part you keep, so it is written per line rather than per container: ingredients and allergens, net weight, case and pallet figures, lead time and the delivery term quoted against.
Terms are FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP; our factory is in Gaziantep and Mersin is about three hours away by road. Since nothing reaches you by sea, it also names the port of discharge assumed and the border crossing for the inland leg. The origin document and the applicable rules are named in it, in the form valid on the day. Offers are in US dollars by bank transfer.
Confirmed before the first order, not during it
Mandatory label content is prepared in French, with English or Arabic alongside where your shelf wants it. On own-label lines it is built from our technical data sheet, and your artworkis checked before printing.
Certificates are issued for our factory, socopies are forwarded and the certifying body named, per line for jellies carrying gelatine. A line coated in vegetable fat is a compound or a glaze on the pack and in the price list, never chocolate; European labelling rules forbid the word there. Anything outside the range — couverture, bulk chocolate by the kilo, raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa, halva, tahini and baklava — is sourced on request, with composition and format confirmed before quoting.
Send the list and the container is built against it
Send the references you want priced, the format and case weight for each, an indicative quantity per line, the port of discharge you work through, the inland delivery point, and whether the pack keeps our standard pack or carries your brand.
Ask for that list on two terms, DAP against CIF, so the road leg comes back as a figure you can compare. The written offer follows line by line, and the load is assembled against your list (mixed container, how we work).
How wide can a first container be?
As wide as your shelf needs. One box carries chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and spreads in jars from our own factory on one order and one document set, with the minimum set perline rather than per container, so a first load can test several lines instead of committing to one.
Can chocolate and dry confectionery travel together?
Yes. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer through the warm months, while Turkish delight, dragées, hard and chewy confectionery and jellies travel dry and take the inland road leg far better. Tell us which season the road leg falls in and the mix is built around it.
What do you need from us before quoting?
The references and the format for each, an indicative quantity per line, the port of discharge you work through, the inland delivery point, and whether the pack keeps our standard pack or carries your brand. For lines outside the range we confirm composition and format before quoting, and onown-label runs nothing is printed before you approve the artwork in writing.
