Range first, depth afterwards
A first load here is built across categories rather than down into one. The recorded table is short and fed from far away; nothing in it says which article will move on your counter. Spreading the first box across chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and spreads in jars turns that uncertainty into cartons rather than pallets.
You buy a full container, and it can carry as many lines and producers as you want to sell — the point of consolidating in Gaziantep rather than one factory’s catalogue.
Four groups, and what each one is called
Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines; dragées, sorted by colour or on a nut centre; Turkish delight, plain, with pistachio or rolled; and wrapped confectionery — jellies, toffees, hard sweets — in retail bags or bulk cartons. The jar line is a spread.
A vegetable-fat coating is a compound or a glaze on the data sheet, on the pack and in the price list, never chocolate — in Europe the same coating may not be labelled chocolate at all. Where a compound suits your price point, it is quoted as one.
Format is chosen with the loading season in mind
Format is not a finishing touch: retail pack, gift box, doypack or bulk carton changes the weight in the case, the count on the pallet and the way heat reaches the product.
The far end of this route is a Red Sea coast: the container spends its last days warm. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer through the warm months; Turkish delight, dragées and jellies travel dry, and both sides load into the same box. If you would rather trade the reefer cost against the format, say so before the pack is drawn.
The minimum sits on the line, the panel on the carton
Each article runs on a line with its own wrapping format and printed film, and it has its own minimum. The minimum belongs to the line, not to the shipment — which is why four groups share one box without any being ordered at a quantity this shelf cannot digest, and they are named per line in the offer.
The printed panel is prepared in English and, where you want it, in Arabic: name of the food, ingredients with allergens, metric net weight, the importer’s address and the date marking. Your import file decides the language; if Tigrinya wording is required, you supply it and we check it against the artwork.
What the offer has to say before money moves
Everything that makes a first order decidable belongs in the offer: price and case weight per line, lead time, delivery term, payment schedule and document set.
The file carries the technical data sheet, our certificates and the analysisreport per line. Certificates are issued for our factory; lines with gelatinetravel with our halal certificate, the certifying body named per line. The origin documentand the rules that apply are named in the offer, which states what applies on the day; the importer files the consignment.
What to send so the first container can be priced
Four things let an offer be written rather than guessed: the references you want priced; the format and case weight for each; an indicative quantity per line; and whether the label stays in our standard pack or carries your brand — nothing is printed before you approve it (mixed container).
Couverture, bulk chocolate by the kilo, raw nuts, dried fruit, cocoa, halva, tahini and baklava sit outside the range: sourced on request, with composition and format confirmed before quoting. Send the list and a written offerfollows in US dollars within two working days — FCA Gaziantep, FOB Mersin, CIF or DAP, with Mersin about three hours from our factory by road (how we work).
How many different lines can one container hold?
As many as you want to sell. The box is mixed across chocolate, dragées, Turkish delight, wrapped confectionery and spreads in jars, and across several producers, on one order and one document set. The limit is not the container; it is the minimum we run for each printed format, which is named per line in the offer rather than published here.
Does the whole container have to be a reefer?
Not necessarily. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer through the warm months, because the last days of this route are spent in heat, while Turkish delight, dragées and jellies travel dry. Both sides can load into one box. Tell us early if you would rather adjust the format than pay for cooling, because that choice belongs to the pack, not to the port.
What has to be confirmed before we place a first order?
The reference list, the format and case weight per line, an indicative quantity, the port of discharge and delivery term, the importer of record to be printed on the pack, and whether the label stays in our standard pack or carries your brand. Against that you get a written offer in US dollars within two working days,, price, lead time and document set stated line by line.
