The label
Arabic on the label, with English alongside if you want it: the name of the food, the ingredient list with allergens, metric net weight, storage, the importer’s name and address, and the production and expiry dates printed on the pack in production rather than added on a sticker. For lines in our standard packs we confirm what the export pack carries before the deposit; for private label we prepare the content from our data sheet and you approve the artwork before printing. The border check
The importer is registered with the food and drug authority, which checks and samples consignments at the border; our technical data sheet, our certificates and the analysis report per line travel with the container so the check has what it asks for. Lines with ingredients of animal origin travel with our halal certificate and the certifying body named. Where a certificate is asked for that we do not hold, the offer says so before the deposit.
Customs
There is no free trade agreement in force between Jordan and Türkiye. The offer states the tariff line for each product and the duty that applies on the day, and nothing about duty is printed on this site, because it changes; the landed cost is in the offer, before the order. The commercial set is the invoice, the packing list per pallet, the certificate of origin, the analysis report and, for pistachio lines, an aflatoxin certificate, listed on the how we work page.
The route and the reefer
Sea freight from Mersin to Aqaba, with the transshipment port and the transit stated in the offer; a road trailer is quoted on request. The sea route is warm in every season, so chocolate and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer year round; Turkish delight, sugared almonds and jellies travel dry. The timeline

An importer that has cleared our lines once clears the next lines faster, because the data sheets, the halal certificates and the label content are already on file, and the border check recognises a producer it has seen before. Because the label content is settled before the deposit, we print the dates at the run and the pack that leaves Mersin is the pack that goes on the shelf, with no relabelling at Aqaba; that is the single largest saving on this route, and the reason the label comes first in this article.
