Two names, two products
In Czech, pistáciová pasta reads as a pastry ingredient: pistachio ground down, unsweetened, for someone who will sweeten and dose it in their own production room. Pistáciový krém reads as a spread: sweetened, soft enough for bread or a spoon, bought for a shelf where the consumer opens the jar and eats it straight.
The two are sold through different doors. Pastry-supply channels list the paste beside fillings and baking materials; grocery and gift channels list the cream beside spreads. Few sellers carry both, and a buyer who wrote one word rarely accepts the other when it arrives.
The jar in our range is the spread
We make and export from Gaziantep: the jars are filled in our own factory and we load several lines into one container. The jar in our range is the sweetened spread — the krém side of that split, built for a retail shelf and for gift packs, not for dosing into a recipe.
The 100% unsweetened pastry paste is not in our main range. It is supplied on request, and in that case we confirm composition and format before an offer goes out, rather than assume our jar line can fill yours.
What the wrong word costs
If a pastry buyer writes pasta and receives a sweetened spread, the sample is useless: it cannot be dosed, the sugar is in, and the tasting ends before it starts. If a retail buyer writes krém and receives an unsweetened paste, the jar tastes flat and the listing dies on the shelf.
So we correct the word in the first written reply, instead of letting it pass. It saves a box of samples and several weeks.
Percentage, format and label are quoted line by line
Pistachio content is stated line by line in the offer, never as one figure for the range, because each manufacturer's recipe is its own. The same offer carries the manufacturer, technical specification, ingredients and allergens, net weight, case and pallet data, the minimum for that line and the tariff position.
Jar format and label content change in private label work. We prepare the label from our technical specification, and nothing goes to print without your written approval. Certificates are issued for our factory; copies are available on request.
The same flavour as a bar, and how it travels
The same taste profile also exists as a bar — the pistachio-and-kadayıf dubai-style bar — and it travels in the same container, on its own pallet, under one packing list and one movement certificate. Chocolate and chocolate-coated lines travel at +18/+20 °C; in hot months a reefer is offered, and if a dry container is preferred the temperature risk passes to the buyer in writing before loading. Czechia is in the EU, so goods move with an A.TR movement certificate.
The import picture explains the room. Czechia bought 811.9 million dollars of chocolate in 2025, mostly from neighbours: Germany 27.64% at 6.60 $/kg, Poland 14.96% at 8.16, Belgium 14.67% at 8.13, Italy 7.07% at 9.49 — Turkey 15th at 0.81% and 7.90 $/kg. In sugar confectionery, 212.7 million dollars, Germany 29.25% and Poland 13.74%, Ukraine and Spain on the low-price end at 2.24 and 2.48 $/kg, Turkey already 7th at 4.63% and 4.30 $/kg. The neighbours own the everyday volume; the way in is a line they do not make.
What to send us
Send four things and the offer can be written. First, which of the two words you mean — spread for a shelf, or paste for a production room. Second, the jar size, and whether the label is ours or yours. Third, the other lines for the same container: the minimum is per line, which is what lets a first order carry six or seven items in measured quantities. Fourth, your delivery point.
The written offer follows within two working days. Payment is 50% at order and 50% before the container leaves, against loading photographs.
Is your pistachio jar a 100% pistachio paste?
No. The jar in our range is a sweetened spread, made for a retail shelf. A 100% unsweetened pastry paste is not in the main range; it is supplied on request, and we confirm the composition and format before the offer.
What pistachio percentage is in the jar?
It is stated line by line in the offer, next to the technical specification, ingredients and allergens, net weight, case and pallet data and the minimum for that line. We do not quote one figure for the whole range.
Which customs document applies for Czechia?
Czechia is an EU member, so the goods travel with an A.TR movement certificate. The offer states what is in force on the day it is issued.
