The chain
A kiosk, a provision store, a hawker at the traffic light or a school canteen buys toffees by the carton from a wholesaler in Accra, Kumasi or Takoradi; the wholesaler buys by the pallet from an importer, or imports for itself; the importer brings the container into Tema with each product registered. That is the link we quote: a food importer or a wholesale house filling one mixed container from Gaziantep, each line on its own pallet, with the registration settled before the deposit.
The lines that fit a toffee list
Jellies in bulk bags and wrapped pieces, wrapped hard candies and lollipops, popping candy, wrapped mini biscuits and wafers that stand up to the heat, and the compound-coated bar that survives a kiosk shelf where chocolate would not. The confectionery page lists each group; the offer states the format, wrapped or loose, the case weight, and whether a line is chocolate or compound. The chocolate or compound article goes through the difference.
Price, and what is not printed here
The toffee trade buys on price per piece, and the answer is in the offer, not on this site: the price per line in US dollars, the case count and the pieces per case, the pallet plan, the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day under the West African tariff, with the registration documents listed. Nothing that changes with the exchange rate or the season is printed on a page, so a wholesaler is never quoting from a number that has since moved.
Registration, line by line
Ghana asks every imported food product to be registered with the food and drugs authority by the importer before it is brought in. We supply what the application needs, the free sale certificate, the certificate of analysis, the data sheet and the label content, named per line in the offer and sent before the deposit, because the registration runs on the importer’s side and is not counted in the lead time. An importer that has registered our lines once registers the next lines faster.
Who fills the container
The unit of sale is one full container. A wholesaler that moves pallets fills one on its own and is quoted like an importer, with the registration on its side; a smaller reseller buys by the carton from the wholesaler that does. Because the container is mixed, toffees travel next to wafers, dragées for the wedding trade and Turkish delight, so a wholesaler that serves more than one shelf fills a container faster. The mixed-container page explains how the load is built.
What to send first
The lines from the chocolate page, the confectionery page and the dragée page, the quantity per line, and whether any line carries your own brand. The written offer follows within two working days, in US dollars and the registration documents listed; the samples page explains how to taste the lines first, and the Ghana page lists what stays the same on every offer.
Can a kiosk or a hawker buy directly from Türkiye?
The unit of sale is one full container. A kiosk buys by the carton from the wholesaler that imports it; a group that pools a container and holds the registration is quoted like an importer.
Are the toffees wrapped?
Both formats exist: bulk bags and individually wrapped pieces. The offer states the format, the case weight and the pieces per case per line.
Is a reefer needed for toffees?
No. Jellies, wrapped candies, wafers and compound lines travel dry; chocolate lines travel in the reefer, year round on this route.
