Who searches, and who buys the container
A party planner, a school fundraiser, a dairy owner and a lolly shop all search for bulk lollies, and most of them buy by the bag from a wholesaler in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. The wholesaler buys by the pallet from an importer, or imports for itself. That is the link we quote: a registered food importer or a wholesale house filling one mixed container from Gaziantep, each line on its own pallet, with the biosecurity conditions checked per line before the deposit.
The lines that fit a bulk lollies list
The New Zealand trade uses the same words as Australia: bulk wrapped lollies, party mix, lollies individually wrapped, kilo bags, pick and mix. The Turkish lines that fit are jellies in bulk bags and wrapped pieces, popping candy, wrapped mini biscuits, sugared almonds by colour, chocolate dragées in milk and dark, and bulk Turkish delight cut for the counter. The confectionery page and the dragée page list each group; the offer states case weight per line and whether the format is wrapped or loose.
What the New Zealand shelf asks that Australia does not
Two things. The first is scale: a container is a large unit for a market this size, which is why the container is mixed, five product groups on one order, so an importer does not have to move a full load of one line. The second is the tropics: the sea route from Mersin crosses them in every season, so chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer year round and the dry lines travel dry; a wholesaler that wants both is quoted as the offer states.
Fundraising, party mix and the dairy shelf
Three customers pull the wholesaler in three directions. The fundraiser wants wrapped pieces in counted bags at a price per unit; the party planner wants colour, one pastel per bowl, which is where sugared almonds and dragées by colour come in; the dairy wants a wrapped line that sits on a warm shelf without complaint, which is where jellies and wrapped mini biscuits do better than chocolate. A wholesaler that serves all three fills a container with all three, each on its own pallet, and the offer states for each line the format, the case weight and whether it travels dry or in the reefer.
Price, and what is not printed here
Cheap bulk lollies NZ is the most searched form of the query, and the answer is in the offer, not on this site: the price per line in US dollars, the case count, the pallet plan, the tariff line and the duty that applies on the day. Nothing that changes with the exchange rate or the season is printed on a page, so a wholesaler is never quoting from a number that has since moved.
What to send first
The lines from the chocolate page, the dragée page and the Turkish delight page, the quantity per line, the port, Auckland, Tauranga or Lyttelton, and whether any line carries your own brand. The written offer follows within two working days, in US dollars and the technical data sheets the biosecurity check needs; the samples page explains how to taste the lines first, and the New Zealand page lists what stays the same on every offer.
Every line here is made in our own factory at Başpınar OSB, Gaziantep — a 10,000 m² site, exporting since 2002 — and certificate copies are available on request.
Can a lolly shop buy directly from Türkiye?
The unit of sale is one full container. A shop buys by the bag or the carton from the wholesaler that imports it; a group of shops that pools a container and holds the importer registration is quoted like an importer.
Are the lollies wrapped?
Both formats exist: bulk bags for pick and mix and individually wrapped pieces for party mix. The offer states the format and the case weight per line.
Is a reefer needed for lollies?
Jellies, sugared almonds and Turkish delight travel dry. Chocolate dragées and chocolate-coated lines are quoted in a reefer year round on this route.
