Chocolate giveaways from Türkiye: dragées and mini chocolates for the Saudi trade

In Saudi Arabia the giveaway is a trade of its own. Here are the Turkish lines that feed it, from the carton up.

A trade of its own

A birth, a wedding, a graduation, an engagement, Ramadan and both Eids: each has its giveaway, and the giveaway is usually chocolate or dragées, packed and ribboned by a giveaway house or by a home trader who sells through social media. Those packers buy by the carton from wholesalers, and the wholesalers buy from importers. That is the link we quote: an importer or wholesaler filling one mixed container with the lines the giveaway trade asks for, each on its own pallet.

Dragées: the birth and wedding line

Sugared almonds by colour, blue and pink for births, white and ivory for weddings, silver and gold for anniversaries, one colour per carton or mixed; chocolate dragées in milk and dark under a thin pastel shell, or polished without one; pebbles and mushrooms for children’s parties. In Arabic the search is for dragées for newborns and chocolate dragées, and it is the largest single confectionery search in the Kingdom. The dragée page lists the groups; the origin article explains the tradition the almond carries.

Mini chocolates and the Eid box

Wrapped mini bars and mini tablets are the Eid line: sold by the kilo, packed into boxes and bowls, given at the door. Pistachio mini bars from Gaziantep sit at the top of that shelf; milk and hazelnut minis fill the bowl. Gift boxes of mini bars and Turkish delight assortments serve the same season. The chocolate page lists the formats, and the Eid article explains how the season is ordered.

What the packer asks first

Colour and finish, because the giveaway is seen before it is tasted. Wrapped or loose, because a home trader packs by hand and a giveaway house packs by machine. Shelf life on the data sheet, because the giveaway is bought weeks before the event. Halal, answered per line by our certificate named in the offer. And the carton: one product, one colour, a case weight a trader can carry. All of it is stated per line in the offer.

Own brand on the giveaway

A giveaway house that packs under its own name can have the dragée pouch, the mini-bar wrapper or the box printed under its brand on selected lines, with the Arabic label content prepared from the data sheet and the artwork approved before printing. The Saudi private label page lists the formats. Sugared almonds travel dry; chocolate dragées and minis travel in a reefer on the Jeddah and Dammam route, year round. The Saudi Arabia page lists what stays the same on every offer.

Asking for a price

Send the references from the dragées page, the quantity per line and the destination port. The written offer follows within two working days, the case weight and the minimum stated for each.

Samples come free from our running production; the courier is on your account and paid before dispatch. The saudi arabia: what stays the same on every offer page lists what stays the same on every offer, and the private label page covers putting your own name on the pack.

Do you sell giveaway chocolates to home traders?

The unit of sale is one full container; home traders and giveaway houses buy from the wholesalers and importers we quote.

Can we order one colour of dragées only?

Yes. Cartons are packed by colour; mixes are also available. The colours per line are in the offer.

Are giveaway chocolates halal?

Certificates are held for our factory and named in the offer with the certifying body; a line without one is stated as such.

How to order
