Dubai chocolate in Hong Kong: the bar the city searched for, made in Gaziantep

The largest confectionery search in the city is for one bar. Here is what is in it, where the Turkish-made version comes from, and what an importer buys. The coating decides more than the taste: the offer states per line whether it is real chocolate or a compound, because the two do not behave the same on a warm shelf. Three formats cover almost every order: the retail bar for the shelf, the gift box for the seasons, and the jar of pistachio cream with kadayif paste for shops that make their own version. The offer states the minimum for each of them. Samples come from our running production and are free; you cover the courier. Each line travels on its own pallet and the container is mixed, so a first order can cover a shelf instead of a single reference, with the minimum stated per line.

The bar

A thick milk or dark chocolate shell filled with pistachio cream and toasted kadayif, the shredded pastry that gives the crunch. The trend started in the Gulf; the two ingredients that matter, the pistachio and the kadayif, come from Gaziantep, and we make the bar in retail and gift formats, in our standard packs or under your brand. The Dubai chocolate article explains the recipe.

What Hong Kong bought first

The city met the bar at hotel patisseries, at the airport and through the pop-ups the searches for Dubai chocolate Hong Kong airport and Dubai chocolate bar Hong Kong point at, at a price set by the makers who bake in small batches. Behind that shelf is the one an importer serves: supermarkets, convenience chains, gift companies and the Chinese New Year hamper, which want a bar that does not melt, a price by the carton and a pack that reads in English and Chinese.

What the importer asks for

A shell that suits the climate and a reefer year round on this route; a price per line with the case count and the pallet plan; our standard pack with a Chinese sticker, or under your own name with the label content prepared before printing. Pistachio cream in jars and mini bars for gift boxes travel with the bar from the same factory; the chocolate page lists the Dubai style group next to the pistachio tablets.

Real chocolate or compound

Both exist in the category, and the difference is practical in a humid city. Real chocolate shells travel in a reefer and are stored cold; compound shells tolerate heat better and cost less. The offer states which is which per line and the name on the pack is checked against the recipe. The chocolate or compound article explains the difference.

Ordering from Hong Kong

Send the product references, the quantity per line, whether the list is for Hong Kong or for onward trade, and whether the pack carries your brand. The written offer follows within two working days in US dollars; a Chinese New Year or Mid-Autumn order is quoted ahead of the season. The Hong Kong page lists what stays the same on every offer. A first order is usually one pallet of bars next to the pistachio tablets, not a container of one bar.

Is the Turkish-made Dubai chocolate the same bar?

The same idea: pistachio cream and kadayif in a chocolate shell. The recipe, the shell and the share of pistachio vary by producer; the data sheet states them and the sample decides.

Will it survive Hong Kong’s humidity?

In a reefer, yes; on this route chocolate lines are quoted in a reefer year round, and the importer stores it cold. Compound shells tolerate heat better and are stated as such.

Can the bar carry our own brand?

On selected lines, as one of our core services, with the label content prepared in English and Chinese before printing.
