The body, not just the word
In Singapore the halal authority recognises foreign certifying bodies by name, and a shop, a gift company or a supermarket buyer asks which body certified a product before it asks anything else. A Turkish producer’s certificate is from a Turkish or international body; the importer checks its recognition before the container is ordered. The offer makes that possible by naming the holder and the body for every line and attaching copies.
What the certifier looks at
Cocoa, sugar and nuts are not the issue. The points a certifier checks in chocolate and confectionery are the ingredients that can come from an animal or from alcohol: emulsifiers, flavour carriers, glazing agents on polished dragées, gelatin in jellies and some Turkish delight recipes, and colours. A certificate is issued to a producer for named products after those points are checked at the plant; it is not a property of a country or a product type.
Which Turkish lines usually qualify
Pistachio chocolate tablets and minis, the Dubai style bar with pistachio and kadayif, pistachio cream in jars, starch-set Turkish delight, sugared almonds and chocolate dragées are the lines a halal list is usually built around. Jellies depend on the gelatin; polished dragées on the glazing agent; chocolate on the emulsifier and the flavouring. None of this is decided on this page; it is decided by the certificate for our factory, per line, in the offer. The chocolate page lists the groups.
Halal gifts and hampers
Halal chocolate gift Singapore, halal chocolate hamper Singapore, halal wedding favours Singapore: the gift trade packs certified lines into boxes and hampers under its own name for Hari Raya, weddings and the corporate season. Dragées by colour, pistachio minis, Turkish delight boxes and pistachio cream jars fit it, with the certificate per line and the label content prepared before printing. The hamper company asks for the body first and the price second. The Singapore private label page lists the formats.
Building the list
Send the product references and say the list must be halal-certified, and by which bodies if you have a preference. The offer comes back with the certificate holder and body per line, the lines without a certificate marked, and copies available on request; Hari Raya ranges are quoted ahead of the season. One container carries the certified lines next to the rest, each on its own pallet, chocolate lines in a reefer on this route. The Singapore page lists what stays the same on every offer.
How to start
A first message is short: references from the chocolate page, quantities, port. The offer that comes back is not — it carries the specification, the pallet plan and the minimum, line by line.
Samples are free from our running production and the courier is paid before dispatch. The singapore: what stays the same on every offer page lists what stays the same on every offer, and the private label page covers putting your own name on the pack.
Every line here is made in our own factory at Başpınar OSB, Gaziantep — a 10,000 m² site, exporting since 2002 — and certificate copies are available on request.
Is everything on this site halal?
No blanket claim is made. Certificates are held for our factory; the offer names the holder and the certifying body per line and marks lines without one.
Will a Turkish halal certificate be recognised in Singapore?
The importer checks the body named per line against the Singapore halal authority’s recognition before ordering; we name the body so that check can be made.
Is Dubai style chocolate halal?
It depends on our certificate for that line; the offer states it per line with the body, not by product type.
